We had 3 large holes in our walls from plumbing repairs. I repaired the drywall and did the mudding and sanding using my years of experience as a s/w engineer but when in got to the crow's feet texturing I could not make that work out to look worth a darn. So we decided to bring in a professional. Fortunately we found Chris at Drywall Repair Specialists. He was prompt and professional and did a fantastic job. He "cleaned up.. ie fixed" my repair work - and did the texturing so well that you really cannot tell where the repair was done. Painting was done quickly and well too. Final result are walls that look great. In hindsight I would have been better off calling Chris on Day 1 and letting him do all the drywall work - and will next time. The price was good for the type of skilled craftsmanship that Chris brings to the table - or wall, ceiling, whatever.

Chris and his helper know their trade. They set up light plastic sheets to contain the dust, dirt and debris (especially from my ceiling replacement) and cleaned up at the end of each day (2-day job in total). I opted to repaint the areas myself. He advised me on painting the freshly textured areas with higher humidity so as not to have it fall apart.

I called them on a Tuesday as seller didn't get to repairing a hole before buyers did walkthrough. Closing was on a Thursday. They made time and came the following day to repair the hole. Turned out there was another hole. Dave came promptly, laid down protection for the carpet and started working. There were lots of paint colors so he also patiently tried different ones to make sure everything matched. After that, he charged the same price he quoted. They were the only drywall repair company who answered my call, and thank goodness, we were able to close on time. Have already called them for another job.

On time and excellent workmanship. You cannot see were it was ever repaired. Price was great.

I'm not sure who answered the phone when I called, but I have never had anyone in the service profession be so rude. He provided a quote to fix drywall and tile, and I asked to schedule the job. He refused to schedule it but asked me to call back after Thanksgiving because he's just too busy. I asked for a date in December, and he was extremely rude and said he's not booking anything until after the holidays. Maybe he didn't want our business - maybe the job was too small - but the attitude and lack of manners earned him this review.

Dan arrived at the expected time and gave me a rough estimate for all the work after discussing the various options related to texturing the ceiling in three (3) different rooms. This was a large job that ultimately required five (5) days of work to allow the mud to dry adequately before texturing all the surfaces. Fortunately, the wife was out of town so all the work did not interfere with her activities ;-) Chris came in on the fourth day to applying mud to the walls where previously there was wallpaper. Bottom line is both Dan and Chris did a great job and were very professional as well as attentive to protecting the surfaces near the work area. Will definitely use them in the future.

Chris is a very busy man, therefore you must be ok with the idea that he will get to you as soon as his schedule allows and you probably should plan to take a date when he can make it. The good news is that seems to be within weeks. The excellent news is that he does respond when you follow up and he did an excellent job. He was punctual on the day he was to do the job, he was reasonable in his charge, and he left no mess. We would use him again.

Scheduling: I initially called Chris in August to see about having him come out to repair our ceiling cracks. His schedule was really full, so he had told me that he would get me on the wait list and to call if I hadn't heard from him by the first week of September (which would be about 3 weeks.) I hadn't heard from him so I called the middle of the week during that first week in September - I think he said he was out of the office at that time (it coincided with Labor Day holiday, not a big deal) but that he would follow up the following week. I didn't hear from him during the first few days of the week, so I contacted him through Angie's List and he was very prompt and apologetic, that he had been having some phone issues and didn't have record of who he had recently talked to. He called me the next day to set up a time - he could possibly do Saturday which was perfect for our busy work schedule, but he said he would call on Friday to confirm because he wasn't sure if a job he was working on would be a day or two job. Friday at 5pm rolled around and I hadn't heard from him, so I called to see if he would be able to come and he confirmed the Saturday appointment. So, overall, a few communication issues initially, but we got it worked out. Work: Chris arrived on-time at 10am and I showed him what needed to be repaired. He estimated 4 hours of work (which was less than he quoted me over the phone) and promptly got to work. He covered all flooring and furniture and worked the entire time - even going back and forth between the hallway and the bedroom repairs to be efficient with his time - there was no down time. He gave us updates throughout the repair that whoever had done the work during a prior renovation (before we owned the home) did not tape the seams, only mudded it, so my husband and I knew exactly what the problem was and what he was doing to repair it. Once he was done he vacuumed all areas to make sure they were clean and free of any dust or sheetrock debris. He finished all of the work in just under 4 hours and charged us accordingly. We chose to take the paint work on ourselves (instead of having him come back the next day to complete) and he gave us some tips, was able to provide some of the original drywall so we could get it color matched, and made sure to tell us multiple times to call him if we had any questions once we started to paint. Overall, Chris was very professional and courteous in our home, and his work turned out great - the cracks are repaired and you can't tell that any work was even done. I would recommend Chris to friends and would also use him for future work, but just know that his schedule is very busy so you may have to wait a few weeks. However, his busy schedule is a testament to the work he performs.

We waited a few weeks because the provider was backed up but it was worth the wait! Drywall Repair Specialists had such awesome reviews on Angie's List I knew they were the repair specialists we wanted for this large job. Chris listened to a description of the repair over the phone and quoted me a price of $360. When he and his assistant arrived on the job site they realized the repair was not going to take as much time as they thought initially, but that they would have to return the next day after the drywall repairs dried to repaint and replace the baseboards. The final cost was $390 due to the two-day nature of the job, but the results were flawless. You simply can't tell we ever had this massive hole in our wall, which is exactly what I wanted, I did not want people walking into that room and going, "what the heck happened to your wall???" Now no one will ever know! Beautiful work and very impressed with the price for the quality of service.

Gave Chris a call on Tuesday afternoon he had a really complicated schedule so asked me if I could wait to find some spot on his agenda, i got a little concern it might take him several days to get back to me but decided to wait as he had really good reviews. Next morning he calls in around 10 AM and tells me he has a couple of free hours to get our wall done. Shows up exactly at the time he said he would show up, gets the job done without us even noticing, and then charges us a lower price than what was originally quoted. Overall amazing service with outstanding results. We are in the service industry ourselves, which makes us appreciate when somebody is truly taking care of a customer and providing an A+ service. If you are looking for a drywall expert, definitely call Chris.

We had massive bubbles in the drywall of our master bathroom. When you consider we were told by 3 experts (a General Contractor, a Handyman and a Tile guy) that we had wood rot and needed to remodel our entire bathroom, the money we spent with Chris seems like a drop in the bucket. He came out the day after I called, removed some paint and told us there was termite damage and recommended we contact Pest Control to assess the situation. We pay for a monthly service, so Pest Control came out free of charge and assured us the termites had been gone for years. Unfortunately, the damage they did to the drywall was allowing moisture from the shower to get into the drywall, which could eventually cause wood rot (in addition to other unthinkable problems). Fortunately, Chris is a master of all things drywall and was able to make our bathroom look as good as new in just a few days. Not only that, but his initial quote was exactly what he charged us once the job was complete. I can promise you, that using Chris will be the best and most cost effective decision you make. Don't even bother looking for a "cheaper" deal, as you will miss out on his expert advice and knowledge.

Chris returned my call promptly on a Tuesday afternoon, and scheduled the repair for the following day, Wednesday. He arrived within the promised time frame. When he arrived, he assessed the damage and estimated it would cost around $300. He also asked if I wanted to replace insulation above the ceiling in the affected area, which I did. He estimated the repair time to be 5-6 hours. Chris covered the floor and masked all the furniture with plastic, which was great. He let me know he would need a quick trip to Home Depot to pick up some insulation, which he did. He worked very efficiently, replacing the drywall, including the insulation above it, and applying the popcorn texture which had a standard ceiling white paint mixed in. He also treated another ceiling stain close by. He completed all the work in about 3 hours and 30 minutes, and charged me $265, which exceeded expectations for both time and price. He did a thorough cleanup and left everything looking like new. He was very cordial and professional. If you need drywall work of any kind in your house, you cannot beat Chris and Drywall Specialists for completing the work thoroughly, efficiently, at a fair price, and with a totally professional demeanor. I could not be happier with the outcome!

Chris was very professional in his communications. He was punctual and completed his work in a timely manner. He did an excellent job. His final bill was the same as his estimate. I have dealt with other drywall repairmen who didn't show up as promised or who failed to return calls. I would use Chris again because of this positive experience

When our kitchen ceiling gave way due to water from a faulty air conditioning drain, we expected an expensive repair and set our expectations that it would never be repaired as new. I called Chris and he was backlogged a couple of weeks but put me on his waiting list. Consistent with his two week estimate he promptly showed up and repaired the damage in 3-4 hours. My wife was impressed with his swift skill, and yet he showed consideration for the surrounding kitchen by creating a plastic curtain work enclosure to capture dust from our attic and the repair work. He vacuumed the area after he completed the work. The quality of his work was the best I have ever seen - and I have worked with many remodelers and contractors over the years. The massive ceiling damage and staining are undetectable after his repairs! Chris was very personable, diligent, and financially reasonable. I will definitely use him again for this kind of work and highly recommend him. Do not be surprised if he is backlogged a bit - Chris is definitely worth the wait!

Chris showed up on time, quoted a 3 hour job for $200.00, became an 1 1/2 hour job for $125.00. Really pleased with how it all came out. Will definitely use again.

These guys know what they are doing and are very professional. Chris spoke with me over the phone and explained that due to all the rain they were backed up just a little bit in work and it would be a few days before they could get to me. Even though he said it would be at least a week before they could come do the work I got a call just a couple of days later saying they had an opening that afternoon if I was available. Dan showed up exactly when he said he would, I walked him around and showed him the holes I needed repaired. He said it wouldn't take too long and off he went. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the quality of work, how clean he kept everything the entire time he was in our house, and how polite and professional he was. He was also able to match the different textures exactly. I will definitely use them for any drywall work I need in the future. Once I got the areas painted you can't even tell where the holes were.

Chris arrived at the time that he said he would and got right to work on my water damaged ceiling in an upper bedroom. Chris repaired the damaged area and also went beyond what was asked of him by also repairing several nail pops in the wall and another seam in the wall that had seperated from the tape. Chris was very professional and curteous and did not waste time, Chris also removed his shoes without being asked while he was inside my house. Chris originally quoted me a price of $200-$300 dollars for the repair but when he actually saw the damage he requoted me a much lower price of under $200. I will definitely use Chris in the future and will highly recommend him to any and everybody.

It went well. it took longer than I initially expected, but this was due to work being done, not missed deadlines or no shows to work. the work looks good and there were only a few minor issues (like some plastic coverings left and a little more clean up than I expected). I would refer this company to my friends

Prompt, professional phone call from Chris to set up a time to repair the drywall. Dan arrived at the time that he said he would arrive. The result was excellent: damage repaired; surfaces prepared such that, when dry, ready to paint. Careful and meticulous in preparing and moving about the work area. Use of groundcloths to protect carpeting from foot and tool traffic. Shoes removed while climbing carpeted stairs. Drop plastic sheeting to contain sanding debris. Used HEPA vacuum sanding equipment. Very thorough, very efficient, very professional, very competent. Result and the workmanlike manner in which it was accomplished were beyond my expectations. Excellent in every respect.

Chris was prompt and professional with email and phone conversations. Although I lived too far away for free in-home estimate, he guesstimated from pictures I sent his way. Chris kept me updated on time of arrival, was meticulous about his work, left my house spotless, and repaired the ceiling and wall as if nothing ever happened. He completed the work quickly and under initial estimate. I felt comfortable with him in my home and have already recommended him twice. Thank you!
