Genaro Silva Company

Mr. Silva had been referred to us by a baseball teammate of my husband's for the foundation repair to our 1930'/40's stucco 2 story garage. Of the 6 total companies we ask to bid the job, Genaro was the only one who felt completely comfortable with the job and took the old, 2 story, stucco structure's construction stability in stride. In his vast 40 plus years of construction experience, he had more than adequate knowledge of how to brace and lift the building to minimize damage. While all other companies expressed serious concerns as to the integrity of the stucco even staying on the building during this process, Genaro's experience along with the expertise of his crew leveled the building of it's more than 6 inch shift without a single exterior crack in the stucco and very minimal damage to the second story studio! Genaro will be our "GO TO" guy for any structural needs in the future as long as we are in the Dallas area. We were so pleased with the quality and fairness of his work on the foundation, we asked him to bid on the rest of the repair/remodel to our garage as he has his general contracting license. All of his subs did an equally superior job for us. They showed up on time, worked all day, and sometimes into the night to complete their part of the project, they cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of our property. We live in a historical conservation district in the city and so have an extra layer of codes and city approval to complete for all exterior construction. Genaro was able to balance and satisfy city requirements with our desire to keep a realistic eye on the budget while staying true to the architectural integrity of our design and property. For once, our repair did not turn into a full scale expensive and unnecessary restoration! He did each portion of the job for exact;y what he bid it for! He did not come back to me a single time for more money! The job cost exactly what he said it would cost. He was good-natured, with a since of humor, professional and a pleasure to work with.
