I worked with Steve who was very very knowledgable. They were very efficient, professional and it was a fantastic service experience.

It was fine. The technician, I think was on time and he did a good job. But he recommended a lot of upgrades and repairs that were not as necessary and I felt that I did not hire him to get a new air conditioning. He did the service which is just the big deal and he said that there is still a $2 for the cost worth of the repair which I actually did and I go ahead and do and I think it was necessary. It was the first time we have done since we got in the house and I don’t know what the previous owners had done in terms of maintenance. It was a little bit pricey. In terms of quality, it’s hard to evaluate and answer that because I don’t have anyone to compare it to. He was professional. I will probably not use them in the future because I will probably try to get an opinion about my equipment.

They did an okay job for the work they did. They came out quickly for the service. I am not sure if the dripping issue would have been caught by anyone or if it should have been caught. A friend of mine recommended them as they had good success with this company. The guy that came was very professional, clean, and nice to work with.

When I asked hin to check the freon he stated "yo".

Frymire was a Class-A experience from the beginning to the end. A pleasant and professional administrator took the call and scheduled, promptly, our visit. As our furnace was not working during a real cold spell here in Dallas, getting someone out was important. The next day, our service man arrived: clean, well-pressed, organized, and knowledgeable. We had to order a part, but our service rep gave us a hint as to how we could get the furnace to run until the new part arrived. All went well, including the follow-up visit when the new part was installed. We were so impressed we signed a yearly service contract with Frymire.

Each time Frymire has sent a technician to our home they have given excellent service. We also signed up for their service contract and have been very happy with the services provided

We have two older builder-grade A/C units, and I purchased an Angie's List deal for $49 to have them checked; it's not a good idea to let service go on your A/C units in Texas! A very professional young lady from Frymire called me the same day I purchased the deal, and we scheduled an appointment for about two weeks out. Shortly thereafter, we found that one of our units was no longer cooling, and that the outside unit was not coming on at all. I called Frymire to see if they could come out any earlier, but they were completely booked, so I had to look to one of our old providers for the emergency repairs; they came out and found that the capacitor had failed, and they replaced it, although it was fairly pricey. On our appointment date, the technician from Frymire came out to perform the services I had purchased through Angie's List (I had to pay an additional $49, as it's priced *per unit*, which I didn't consider, but that was fine with me). He was very professional, personable and thorough, and he apologized that they were not available to do our emergency repair, but he double-checked the capacitor in our other unit, since the other one had failed. He quoted me a price to replace it which was considerably lower than the other provider, and I agreed that it was a good idea to have the service done. He worked quickly and had the repair done in no time. I am extremely impressed with Frymire's employees, and we will definitely call them in the future.

They showed up when they said they were going to and everything was perfect with them. It took them about 3 hours to complete the job. They showed up the next day after I contacted them. The plumber was informative and very polite. He also put booties over his feet when he came into the house.

They did a really good job, but they were a little more expensive than I thought. I had to pay an amount for them to just show up as a service call charge.

Tony came out to look everything over and give us an estimate. We had 2 other companies come out (one of which said we needed to replace all our ductwork AND have new return air vents put in every room). However, both Tony and the other company said (without our mentioning anything) that our duct work looked great and nothing would be as good as the original. He was very thorough and went through all the available options, answering any questions and explaining everything. When we decided on them, they came out as soon as we requested and replaced everything in a day. They were very professional and nice and we are extremely happy with the end result. We had no idea our old (20+ yr) unit was as loud or working as hard as it was until the new one started. We would highly recommend Frymire to anyone needing to replace their existing unit(s).

I used their services today. It cost fifteen hundred dollars. They fixed a plumbing leak. They were extremely thorough, I have had two other firms come out but they couldn't solve the problem and they were able to resolve it. They called extra people out to the house when the first guy was having trouble figuring out, because whatever it was, it was hard to find, and he called other that people out and they spent hours and hours digging through the house figuring what exactly was going on. The next afternoon the air conditioning worked as well. They have always done an awesome job. Every body they sent out to our house has been super nice.

Very professional! Fair price . Quality work.. Just had my ac replaced , they stayed exactly to the quote they provided, showed up on time , and completed work in a highly professional manor . I even received an email before work started , with the photos of the technicians coming to my home. I would highly recommend their service and will continue to use them for all my service needs.

Horrible phone service. I called multiple times to schedule an appointment and each time they told me someone would call me right back to confirm. After nearly three hours passed with no call back?meaning I don?t know whether anyone is coming, whether to go to work, to stay home, or what to do?their office closed and now their after-hours line told me there is no way to know whether I am scheduled and I?ll just have to wait until the next day to see if anyone shows up. Frymire has wasted three hours of my time and also wasted the opportunity to schedule someone else to help with the HVAC and also wasted a day that I potentially could have had this service resolved. It must be extremely luxurious to be so successful as a business that you really don?t care whether you schedule appointments or not.

Frymire price was very competitive and installation went very well. I would definitely recommend Frymire.

I requested an early afternoon appointment, and Leo arrived at 1:00. He was wearing shoe covers and had a very professional appearance. Leo got right to work replacing two relays and then inspected both systems. He was very thorough and did not rush anything. He explained everything and answered my questions clearly. Based on the inspection, he pointed out that other parts will need replacing, but there was no pressure to do so that day. When he left, everything was clean. In addition to being a good professional, Leo was a very nice gentleman and had a sense of humor. I would not hesitate to recommend both Leo and Frymire.

They did exactly as they said they would.

Thursday, 1/30 Noticed that water heater #1 was consistently not heating. Had been intermittently shutting off (with error code 90 or 59) over past several weeks. Heater #2 (on right in closet) had not had any issues at all. Called Frymire for appointment. Friday, 1/31 James came to diagnose. Stated that since neither heater had ever been serviced, they would need service valves installed, and needed to be descaled. Discussed pricing and offered a price break on water heater service if we purchased Frymire Gold service/maintenance plan. He noted that the gas installation was not ideal (1/2? rather than 3/4? supply line). Agreed on service plan and water heater service price and paid deposit. James to complete work on Monday. Monday, 2/3 James came and installed service valves and descaled heaters. I was here during the day to assist with turning on faucets as needed, turning off breakers, etc. When he was finished, he billed me for the balance and turned to leave. Luckily, I checked to see if hot water was on and noticed that there was no water at all from outlets. James double checked and opened an inlet valve that he had neglected to check. Turned on a single outlet and checked hot water before James left. Went outside later that afternoon and noticed that James had left the cover off the recess box when he left. Tuesday, 2/4 Noticed that turning on more than one hot water outlet resulted in minimal water pressure, then no hot water at all. Heater #1 still giving error code 59 within a few minutes of coming on. Heater #2 (previously working fine!) not coming on at all. Called Frymire, who dispatched Dennis that afternoon. Dennis troubleshot and noticed that heater #2 would kick on the burner when the hot water relief valve was opened, but no other time. He called Noritz support, who advised him that the gas manifold pressure needed to be checked and adjusted. I expressed my opinion that it was a water flow problem. Dennis did not have a manometer, so set up an appointment for the next day, ?probably one of our more experienced technicians?. Appointment was set between 11 and 3 for Wednesday because I advised Dennis and the dispatcher that I had an appointment at 3. Wednesday, 2/5 Waited at home between 11 and 2:30. When I called Frymire to ask for an ETA, was told that my appointment was for ?after 2? and that they could not give me any other time estimate. I went on to my appointment at 3:00. At 4:15 Frymire called and said that Ricky was on his way; I advised them that it would be about 4:45 when I could get home. Ricky arrived at about 4:45 and was here until 7 or 7:30. The first thing that we both noticed was a leak in heater #1, which he diagnosed as a leaky solder joint from James? work on Monday, and set about fixing it. Continued to try to troubleshoot both heaters, but his manometer was broken and couldn?t check gas manifold pressure. Eventually left and told me that a supervisor and one of their experienced technicians would be here Thursday morning. Ricky told me that the installation was not right and that was part of the problem. Thursday, 2/6. Called at 9:30 to check on arrival time, was told it would be ?within the hour?. Called again at 11:00 to recheck arrival time, while on the phone got a call on another line saying that they would be here within 30 min to an hour. Gary arrived at about 11:45 and started troubleshooting. I told him that priority 1 was to get heater #2 working again as it had been before, then to worry about heater #2, and that this was the last visit that we would ask them to make. After some work, Gary insisted that our installation was bad, and that nothing they had done on Monday could have caused any new troubles. Finally after another 30 minutes called me out to show me that one of the valves on heater #2 (that James had installed) was stuck closed and that was the problem. I asked Gary to get it fixed, then we would ask another company to complete the repairs to heater #1 (which still gave a consistent error code 59). Gary asked if we would like to have a manager call us, and I responded yes. Still haven't heard from them 2 weeks later. Will ask for charges for James' labor to be refunded, and to refund and cancel the service/maintenance plan, as I don't trust them to touch anything else in the house.

We had a great experience! The technician, Charlie, was punctual, friendly, professional, detail-oriented and efficient. One of our HVAC systems stopped working, and we were concerned we were going to have to replace it. Thankfully, the repair ended up being very simple! And Charlie quickly located it, too. I would use this company again!

After the fact, though, I am left wondering why, if it was really a safety issue, did the the repairman not mention it in his 1st visit a few weeks ago. I hope this wasn't an effort to ensure the service call wasn't a total bust for Frymire. I've heard very good things about the company, and they were very responsive both times. But as the flex pipe that was taken out had absolutely no damage to it (the unit is less than 15 years old), I have to say I feel a bit more skeptical than before. It's disappointing to be paying so much money this time under the circumstances.

He was very nice and knowledgeable with me. He was very responsive and I can tell he would come out if it was an emergency situation. He critiqued a lot of things that other workers have done. His price are very high so I decided not to use him for other services.

Overall Frymire did excellent. I will break my review down into 3 parts a) estimate 2) installation 3) post sale support/registration. Estimate - Had it not been for a discrepancy between the Trane equipment estimated, the features and costs and how the equipment was promoted to work and the efficiency - I would have given the 5 stars!!!! In short, the XL16i was quoted as being a 2 stage condensing unit and no fault of Frymire, Trane changed the operation of the XL16i to be a single stage unit. This was only discovered once the install was 1/2 completed. The salesman would talk in circles and became difficult to reason with and pin down as to what the actual differences would be between the quoted equipment and costs vs the 2nd option of XR17. Again XL16 equipment in attic was installed, heater and coil were installed and the combination to different condenser would produce different results as it was quoted as using a different coil. This became an issue with salesperson. I do not fault him, but we had difficulty in communicating. Here is where you want to use a company like Frymire. The installers were excellent. The change out manager overseeing installations called me wanting to ensure I was happy as a customer and looked up the combinations of equipments, btu, etc. and changed out the coil in the attic with higher capacity one to match the XR17. This was done after the installer had completed the installation of the other equipment and fully tested the system. I am sure it was costly and a pain to them but I appreciated it very much. I give them 5 stars for service/installation and honesty. Service after the sale was another 5 stars (so far). They registered my equipment for Trane Warranty and an additional service warranty and were very helpful advising how to transfer the warranty of existing equipment. Again, the service after the sale has been very professional and responsive.

It was very good. They have to add some Freon so I had to pay an extra charge which was a bit too high. I was very pleased. They were professional and punctual. I would definitely call Frymire Services, Inc. next time for an urgent service.
