The installation of the new units went well. We did have one glitch and they sent someone out to determine the problem and it was fixed, no cost. They come out twice a year for inspections. The only problem was this winter on the first freeze night of the year, the heater quit working on a Saturday evening. My call to Frymire was answered by a recorded message. No one called back within the hour, so I called several other local HVAC firms until I found one that could come immediately (within the hour) to determine the problem and fix it. Turned out one of the electronic sensors had gone out. It was fixed. I am still deciding if I will stay with Frymire or start using the new company. NEW: I have decided to continue with Frymire because of the good service and friendliness of the technician that they have sent to my home each time. He is extremely knowledgable and always solves the problem.

Other than the costs, the overall services were pretty spot on. We called and scheduled an appointment. They called us a couple days prior and the day of to verify someone would be here and to check in. Once they arrived they got to work quickly and answered several questions. Afterwards they left and that was the end.

??They do good work. We haven’t had a problem with them. We have been on their maintenance plan for several years. The plan is convenient and easy, but I am not sure how they compare to others. They do have coupons that you can use if you recommend them to others and those types of things. Their workers are always really good about putting on booties when they come in your home. They are always respectful of your property and they usually clean up their mess. When you call them you can talk to a real person instead of having to go through voicemails.

They do maintenance on our heating and air conditioner. A few years ago we added a unit.

Everything so far with their services has been good. I have been very appreciative of them.

I have been with Frymire for a long time. They let you know if there is anything going on or any problems. They are reliable. They show up when they say they will be here. They are very professional in what they do. You can depend on them to do what they say they are going to do. They are also very knowledgeable of all heating and cooling systems

They did what they said they were going to do. They kept me informed.

Went fine. There HVAC quotes where the highest out of 10 different companies.

Frymire did not offer a price range up front before coming out even though we did request one when we called for the service initially. They say they have a policy of not providing estimates before coming out to inspect the issue first hand. When the plumber came out, he gave us the estimate on site after looking at the issue and that we would have to pay for the service call if he did not repair it. The service call would have been $50 more, but we have a Gold membership for servicing our air conditioning system, so the service call would be taken off if the work was done. So it was either pay the Frymire price now or they would charge for the service call. In effect, getting a lower price from another plumber at this point would have mostly negated any savings by having to pay for the service call. If we had known that this job was normally $265 (including the $50 service call), then we would have searched for another option. Having to pay $215 even with our membership discount left a bad taste in our mouths. We plan to use a more reasonably priced plumber in the future. Customer note on 2/14/2102. I believe the company does good work and that they care about their customers. I did accept the $100 refund. The call may have been 51 minutes as stated in Frymire's response, but most of that was taken up with talk with the plumber. Many reputable plumbers will quote this type of job unseen with caveats. In my opinion, Frymire should still have given me their minimum charge for the service when making the appointment and should modify their policy. A $100-$150 charge is expected, but not a standard rate of $265 for such a routine service.

Frymire installed our heating and cooling systems when we had our house built in 1994. (We have two systems one for upstairs and one for downstairs.) Since we had used them to service our systems initially, we have continued to use them for periodic service over the past 17 years. During our past two spring check-ups, we had to add Freon to our downstairs systems This spring we were told that the evaporator unit for the downstairs unit was leaking and we should consider replacing it. Since we have been happy with Frymire over the years, we had them out for an estimate. They actually proposed a total of five options. These included the replacement of the one leaking evaporator unit and the replacement of both systems. Since both systems were 17 year old, we decided to replace both systems. We decided on the Trane XR13 systems (one 3 ton and one 3 ½ ton.) We also had them add to additional ?runs? to rooms that I felt were not being cooled as well as I would like. As always the technicians were professional and courteous. They arrived around 8:30 AM. Since we were in the second week of our 100 plus degree run, I was dreading working from home that day. I was very happy when around 3:00 PM, I felt air moving from the vents. (The temperature in the house had risen to the lower 90?s but it had remained bearable.) The crew did a great job of cleaning up. We have had no trouble with our new units and they are very quiet. They also seem to cool down the house quickly. Our two ?problem? rooms still seem to run one or two degrees warmer than the remainder of the house, but they seem to be cooler than they used to be. (The new runs also have a damper which can be adjusted, but I haven?t experimented with them yet.) Note: I rated the price an "N/A" This is because we did not price shop. Since we were happy with our previous experiences with Frymire, I was reluctant to try out an unfamiliar company.

The visit was very educational. The house was inspected for a tankless water heater and an estimate was given. I didn't install the water heater because of the high cost but felt that Frymire would have done a good job.

It was a very extensive job. I would recommend them.

The crew arrived on time. The work was performed efficiently. The only hitch was a misunderstanding concerning the location of a duct line. When I pointed this out, the crew apologized and made the change (in a hot attic, mind you) without complaint. The job was completed within a day, The crew stayed to make sure the air returns were noiseless and the unit was running properly. I was skeptical that the unit would achieve the energy savings we were told to expect; but I was wrong. We could not be happier with the unit we were sold or with the workmanship. We have used Frymire for plumbing for years. I would strongly recommend them for ac and furnace as well.

They are an excellent company. It was several thousand dollars a year. I have had no problems at all with them. They do what they say. Their price is average and their quality is excellent. Their responsiveness is very good too.

Their price was the most reasonable one compared to the offers that I’d had. I wasn’t here when the work was done. Everything seems to be okay. They were responsive and punctual. I would use them again in the future if need be.

They are reliable. They are a big company and have a big name. They do what they are supposed to be doing. All the technicians who have come here have been very professional and competent in their work. They are really outstanding. They have always showed up on time. I will continue to use them in the future.

Frymire are reasonably priced. When you pay to have a yearly servicing of your air conditioning and heating service, you are put on an emergency list, so if you call they come out anytime. Their work is high quality, they come on time, their prices are reasonable, and their workers are very personable. They do a great job.

Did not have company install water heater. Too expensive.

Since I've used their plumbing services in the past, I upgraded to Frymire's Gold Plan. It includes many of the same benefits as the air conditioning only plan (Silver), including 15% discount on repairs and priority scheduling. I apppreciated his thoroughness considering the temperatures are very high this week and I am sure his schedule is very full!

Since my home was built in 2007, Frymire has been called to service our cooling units at least once a year. And we are not talking about just adding fluids to cool the unit, we are talking about major repairs. For example: Coil - replaced; condensor - replaced twice; conpressor - replaced; and etc. Each visit a different problem. Each problem a different cost. All on the same unit. This last visit in April, was for another part that has apparently burn out on the second unit and needed to be replaced. During that visit, the tech told me that the other unit was leaking AGAIN and I should call that in before my warranty expires on May 21. He himself could not take care of that because he was there for a different purpose and I would have to call it in and schedule the work. I have yet to call this company because I hate them. I know I will have to call them but I am procrastinating because I hate them. According to our records, we have replaced almost every part on one of the units and now we seem to be doing the same thing with the second unit. It is the most frustrating and painful situation I have ever dealt with in my entire life. We got stuck with this company due to the warranty requirements by the builder of our home. We have tried to get other companies to inspect and do the work, but they won't touch it. One company even advised contacting the manufacturer and the BBB, which we did contact the manufacturer, but the manufacturer told us that unless Frymire informs them that the units are defective, there is nothing they can do and it is considered normal repair procedures. I think everyone knows we got a lemmon, but no one will attest to it. We are saving to replace both units and get out of this nightmare. Until then, the cycle continues. Update: The company did come back they spent 40 minutes checking both systems. They let me know that both systems are working correctly and that I should not have any problems. They left me a tune-up checklist. I will not know if this information is correct until next year. If in fact this information is true, grading is subjected to change.

The service was excellent from scheduling the appointment to completion. There is a reminder call the day of service when the service man is on his way. Everyone in the company that I have had contact with I have found to be very courteous, prompt and professional.

I have got an annual service contract, and I pay $200 a year. They did a biannual service on the heating and air conditioning system. We have been with them a long time. They have great prices and provide great service. They are good about being there on time and doing a good job. The price is reasonable. It is the same guy that comes out every time to do the servicing. I would continue to use them in the future.

I paid $75 for that work. I had a yearly contract with them. They do really well. I have no complaints.

I had a good experience and they did a great job. They came when they said they would. I spent $62 on that work. I would recommend them to other members. They showed up and did what they were supposed to.
