Hottest day of the year and we lost A/C on the zone on our lower level. I checked Angie's List and selected Frymire. We were scheduled within 24 hours of my call. The technician arrived as scheduled and diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes. Replacement part was on the truck and the unit was fixed within 30 minutes. I will definitely call Frymire again. The vendor I had been using couldn't respond for several days and I had a service contract with them.

I have already entered a review for Frymire. Personnel were timely, efficient, thorough, clean, and courteous.

I'm a fairly decent handyman myself and perform the majority of the work on our house and vehicles. In the process of replacing a capacitor on one of our a/c units recently, I had an "oops" and managed to puncture the condenser coil (with a screw that turned out to be a little too long for the job). This was the second time we've used Frymire, and both times they've been punctual, professional, and honest. They're not the cheapest service around, but I don't mind paying a little extra for quality and honesty. It's worth it to me.

Review of Frymire Services - July 30, August 1, and August 16, 2013 I had Alan Sykes from Frymire come out on two separate occasions during the week. He first replaced a compressor motor. With no sales pressure, Alan reminded me how hold our A/C system was, and he gave me the option to replace the part or to contact a sales representative at Frymire to get a bid on a new system. I decided to go ahead with getting the part replaced while I got bids. Alan told me that I could get a credit for the purchase of a new system if I chose to simply replace the part. It was too hot to go without the A/C, so it made the decision that much easier to make! I was pleased with Alan's initial work, as he was able to come back with the replacement part on the same day and get our house cool again quickly. Alan also made a follow-up visit to fix the drain pipe from the drip pan under the condenser coils in the attic. We had had several companies come and provide estimates on a new system. Somehow during the inspections, the drain pipe become disconnected (it was not sealed well) and we had water dripping onto a bathroom ceiling. Alan was able to perform a quick and good repair. I wound up choosing Frymire for our new A/C system, as its price was extremely competitive, and I was credited for the previous repairs. Oscar B. and his crew came out promptly on Friday, August 16, 2013, and I was impressed at the speed at which they dismantled and removed the old equipment and got the new equipment installed. When I inspected their work, I was pleased to see that everything looked good, and they had even created more space in our attic by relocating the furnace, air handler, condenser coils, and other equipment to be less obtrusive than where the previous equipment was installed. The City of Carrollton inspector came out earlier this week, and he didn't spend much time with the system. He said that Frymire always did good work, which he said in an appreciative manner, because I'm sure it makes his job easier! I am enjoying our new system, knowing that it is saving us money and working more efficiently to cool our home.

The service went really well. Basically, the problem I was having was that I had a shower and whenever I turned on the water, water was coming out from the shower head, but it was also pouring out of one of the knobs. I took out the screw on the knob and tried to remove that knob, and I could not get the knob off at all. At that point, the Angie’s List popped up, and I had to see what they had to say about it and so on. He came out and he had a tool that he used to get that knob off. He could not pull it off either. It was completely corroded. He told me he tried to get it off several ways and he said that he had a tool to get it off, but it might break the knob and asked me if that was okay. I told him that it was okay. It was just a standard knob. So, he got the tool and he got the knob to finally pop off and did actually break the knob to get it off. It was that badly stuck. We looked at the actual leak and basically the stem was just shot. This house was built in the ‘80’s. I have only been here for five years, but I have no idea how old that stem was. It was completely shot. What I really I like is that he did not charge me for anything extra. I do not know how much I paid for the Angie’s List deal, but just for that amount, he popped off that knob, looked at it, and said that pretty much the stem was shot. He quoted me a price and said that he can replace both stem because both were in bad shape, but he said that if I wanted to fix it myself, then there were no hard feelings. I told him that I can go up to Lowe’s and get a stem and replace the stem. That was what I ended up doing. He was very nice. He did get the knob off. He showed me exactly what the problem was, but then, he did not mind the fact that I told him that I could take it from there.

The service went well. There were no additional charges to the big deal. They came out two weeks after I purchased the big deal. They came right out, did what they needed to do, and that was it. They did a good work. The price was reasonable, and they were punctual.

I live in a high-rise apartment - well actually condo because I am responsible for repairs with in my unit. I contracted through Angie's list to have Frymire plumbing come to my condo and unstop my shower drain and video inspect the plumbing lines. I was getting complaints from lower units about a leak that maintenance tracked to my unit. That is why I wanted video inspection, I did not want to tear up all the walls. Unfortunately video inspection is not for general plumbing throughout your house it is from your house to the main sewer line and that was not something that was going to work for my situation however the technician was able to track where the leak was coming from with minimal damage. After the leak was found the technician quickly and efficiently repaired a 2 foot section of pipe that had decayed. I had visions of several holes in my drywall while trying to find this leak or worse yet building maintenance thought it was my shower P-trap and that would have required tearing up all of my tile. With everything that it could have been I feel blessed that the only hole in a wall was behind my dishwasher and the total bill was around $400. The plumber from Frymire was named Alex and he was polite knowledgeable and efficient, I would request him in the future if I had more issues. The only negative with this experience was that service was requested online Sunday night and the earliest appointment was Wednesday afternoon.

The plumber showed up to provide the sevice. He spent about 20 minutes working and then packed up and went out to his truck for another 30 minutes. Then he showed up at my door and informed me that it was going to cost another 450 dollars to complete the work that they were contracted to do. I refused to pay an additional 450 dollars so the plumber told me he was sorry but that I would have to contact his supervisor (Gary) as he had been told not do any further work. I called Gary and asked him why they were not honoring the contract. He told me that there were "additional circumstances" involved (I have no idea what he is talking about as it is a mainline sewer, straight shot to the septic). He further told me that there would be no refund as "They tried to fix the problem and that is what I paid for". I informed Gary that the contract stated that Frymire had agreed to clear the line, not "TRY" to clear the line". He seemed confused by this point and said that he would take it up with his supervisor and call me back on Monday to discuss this further. On Monday, Gary sent me an email (No phone call to discuss as promised) that said "I talked with my superviser and explanined your frustrations. He said that you will need to go to your Angie's list account and request a refund". They made no attempt to explain the behavior nor did they make any attempt to make things right. They simply sent a vague email telling me that it was no longer their problem and it would be up to an Angie's list rep to remedy the situation. I went with this company because it was highly reviewed on Angie's List. My experience with them is that they are not at all reputable, honest or reliable. I woul d say that their angle is that they offer "service contracts" as a way to get into your home and then upsell citing "circumstances" that make the initial agreements null and void. I recommend staying away from this company. Their contracts and promises mean nothing to them and your disatisfaction will not even warrant a phone call back to make things right.

I called Frymire the afternoon of 8/5 after working with dozens of different AC places. I received a call back from Steve Thielen, one of their sales managers that evening around 6pm. After I gave him the details of what I was looking for, he said he would send me a quote that night. By 8 pm, I had the quote. It was a a few hundred dollars less than the other place that I was going to go with that was also ranked very well on Angie's list. The lower price coupled with the 36 months/no interest and great reviews made it an easy choice. I texted Steve to let him know that we were good to go. He called me the next morning at 9am. The next morning at 9am, Chris arrived with his crew. It was one of the hottest days yet. It got to 97 degrees in the house. They knocked it out. Chris and his guys were polite, friendly, quiet (which is important since I work from home), and quick. There were a few complications but they kept me updated and advised me of their progress as much as possible. They left around 6pm. By 8pm, it was 88 degrees in the house. The next day morning we woke to 75 degrees and it hasn't been higher since. I would definitely recommend Frymire for their pricing and their professionalism.

They were great. They came out and diagnosed the problem the same day and fixed it within two and a half hours. They came out within a couple of hours after I purchased the big deal. I get 15% off on every order with them.

We just had them check the air conditioning to see whether or not it was functioning and it wasn't and what was wrong with it and we were just doing that and we had a home warning and we wanted to make sure when the home warning people came in, they didn't give us a song and dance. So we were by what they did. They were supposed to provide a report in writing which we never did get. We got one by word of mouth, but he didn't put it in writing.

I called after hours on 8/21/2013 and they said a service call could occur the next day. They called me at 730 am and said they could get a technician out that morning. Charlie arrived by 930 am. He found the capacitor was on warranty, replaced it very quickly. I paid for the service call and minimal labor. Very happy with their timely service! Charlie was a sweetie also.

It went well. They are professional and did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

I purchased a big deal for the service, it turned out fine. What I don't like is trying to be sold a bunch of stuff. I bought a package, and then that was somewhat misleading, and I spent more money, and then they tried to sell me a some membership program. I just won't ever use them again. The scheduling was fine.

Provider came out on time and very quickly identified the problem and fixed the ac unit. Has worked great since the unit was worked on.

Overall experience with Frymire has been very good so far. I don't use telephone only email and text but I know from a previous experience that tel conversations must be had for some reason. However, as soon as I provided the Frymire lady (I apologize didn't get her name) with my telephone, she called immediately and very smoothly set up an appt for me with Fred Walsh. Fred Walsh arrived exactly on time. He carefully and patiently explained how the AC, furnace and Coil work. He was very well prepared with photos and annotations. This helped me understand what the problem may be without feeling overwhelmed by the information. After he left he called back, just as he said he would, and confirmed an appt he had set up with the technician who would actually perform the work. I love this kind of service. Starting with telephone contact, which sets the tone for the entire appt. Focus on one client at a time,, follow up calls. So far it has been great. I will write a follow up review after my experience with the technician tomorrow :-)

The company was very responsive, technician, Rafael, arrived on time, did the job professionally and was very courteous. Definitely recommend them!

It was fine. The service was great. They were helpful. I didn't spend more than what the deal was for.

Requested an appointment online and a representative contacted me to set up an appointment. I waited at my house during set appointment times on the day of the set appointment and no one ever showed up or even called. I still have not received any further communication from Frymire. A Frymire representative contacted us and I was told the loss of appointment time was due to software company updates to system. A new appointment was set and a technician arrived at appointed time and performed all maintenance in a timely professional manner. We have no complaints with services provided.

Frymire Services, Inc. did an excellent job. They were on time and appeared to be extremely thorough.

Tim Roszkowski came out for a Plumbing call on Monday, August 5, 2013. He was absolutely wonderful. His knowledge and passion for his work shows. His customer service, in making sure I was happy and well informed, far exceeded my expectations. Thanks, Tim, for a great job!

It was excellent. He said my air conditioning units were in good shape and he was surprised at that. He made a comment that it seemed as though my neighbor's units were working overtime and sure enough in about 2 weeks the neighbor's air conditioning went out. I would give them A's for everything and I have recommended that company to other people.

It turned out very well. I did not spend more than what the deal was for. The price was good.
