Description of Work: I can not rave enough about this experience. I called them initially because of their high ratings on Angie's List, because they come to my house with samples at a time convenient for our work schedules. I selected them because of their knowledge, cost competitiveness and their attention to detail. We have most of our two-story downstairs carpet replaced with Wood-grained ceramic tile. They did a BEAUTIFUL job. The crew was respectful, hard-working and paid attention to detail. There were many areas that required ingenuity and they went above and beyond. I was able to discuss pros and cons with the foreman and before they left each evening, they were clear about the progress and made allowances for us to continue to make our way around. Really wonderful.

Description of Work: Installed laminate in most of my house. They were not the least expensive but I chose them because I wanted no surprises. One big point of contention was they spread leveling compound over ever inch of floor whether it needed it or not. Every bag of leveling compound was an extra $50 charge. I was told by the salesman I may not need any but the worst he ever heard of was 4 bags ($200). Imagine my surprise when I was presented with a bill fo 13 bags ($650). The foreman explained 1 bag for every 100 sq ft was normal. I complained and was only charged for 4 bags but should I feel good about that? Worst part was, the floor still was not properly leveled in one spot and they had to come back and tear up part of the floor and fix it. The workmen were coming from Richardson to West Fort Worth and missed the time window I was given several times.

Description of Work: First of all, the salesman made an in-home initial visit. A wonderful service yet becoming rarer these days. The salsesman was professional and courteous throughout beginnin with an on-time arrival. He brought a good variety of carpets for me to look at and had a good knowledge of each of them. The pricing ranged based on quality and manufacturer but all appreared to be reasonable. I narrowed my selections down to three choices. He took measurements of the spaces to be carpeted and gave me the pricing for each right then. I decided to think on the purchase for a bit so have yet to order the installation. I will definitely do the work and likely use this vendor. I will update this when the installation has been completed.

Description of Work: Flooring Direct replaced old ceramic tile with new porcelain tile in our kitchen, utility room, and a bathroom. Steve worked hard to find the tiles we wanted, and precisely measured every nook and cranny. Price was good for the quality, and the final charge was exactly what we contracted for. Installation was very professional, and on our schedule. The result exceeded our expectations; we love our new kitchen!

Description of Work: They put new tile flooring in all the living areas, as well as tile in one bathroom and tile around the fireplace. It went very well, they did an excellent job, on time, and it met all our expectations. I would use them again!

Description of Work: The team worked quickly and efficiently installing new wood floors in our bedroom and bathroom in one day. They did a great job and very pleased with the work and our new floors.

Description of Work: There were two workers sent to install the flooring. One had experience and the 2nd person had very little. | One area of flooring was installed in a hallway. When the doors to the hall were closed, the carpet extended beyond the doors and the carpet edges were very raw, not finished. | In the living room/dining room there was at least a quarter of an inch difference in the level of the tiled entryway and the areas with the flooring. The experienced worker was just going to calk so you wouldn't stump your toe. The calking around door frames was sloppy also. I had to ask for corrections in all instances or the job would have been left as it was. |I was under the impression I was purchasing Luxury Vinyl Plank, the boxes however were marked Vinyl Plank. The worker called his boss to verify. I was told it was LVP. Who knows?
