I have used Entech twice for my whole house generator needs and they have done an outstanding job each time. They finished on-time and cleaned the area without me asking. Their friendliness and professionalism makes them a joy to work with.

They sent a lady out to give an estimate. She was not well equipped for this function, based on two factors: a) she wasn’t willing to fully examine the attics to see whether electrical line could be routed through them to the other end of the house. Instead, she poked her head in attic doors and asked me if ‘they connected’. I had no idea and it wasn’t my job to find out. She never looked further, instead determining that trenching the lines through the yard was necessary. She was at my house on a Friday and said I would receive the bid on Monday. Never got it Monday or most of Tuesday and on;y received it after calling late in the day. When she did submit the bid, it indicated the bid would come to approximately $52K for a 48,000 Watt unit installed with all equipment and labor, which shocked me. Why? Because only a few weeks earlier I had bought a 38,000 Watt unit for another house I own in Florida and turn-key that one was only $20,409! That was 2.6 TIMES as HIGH as what I’d just paid elsewhere. One difference listed was that the larger generator was about $4,000 more, the rest was in labor and materials. Just to set my mind at ease, I called a second contractor to submit a bid. The new company sent a MASTER ELECTRITION to gather information and got the bid back to me quickly as promised. Final result? It was not a 48,000 Watt unit recommended, but a 38,000 Watt unit, just like my other house. And instead of $52K, it was a little over $22K, within about a couple of thousand dollars of the one I had bought in Florida. In addition they gave me a FREE 7 year warranty on the unit from a promotion being offered by Generac, which this company never even mentioned. The degree of professionalism between these two companies was like night and day. I would NEVER consider using this company for any work I have in the future. Just a horrible experience all the way around.
