We are a mobile service and will come to you! Call or text today to schedule your over the phone free estimate (469) 523-4543 Rate is by the hour at $250 per hour for three handyman, $185 per hour for two handymen. We have a minimum $365 service call fee for any project per day. Shopping time required to pick up and transport necessary supplies and materials not provided by the customer is considered work time and will be billed for. For larger projects requiring more than one day's work, a bid may be provided rather than an hourly agreement.

Description of Work: I failed miserably at hanging a curtain rod. Emmanuel was great. He came by and repaired/replaced the dry wall. He also installed a windowsill. He was on time, professional, and communicated extraordinarily well throughout the process.

Description of Work: I am need of installation of a chandelier light fixture and patch work on the ceiling where existing light fixtures are located. Emmanuel of van Hulst Handyman Services said that he has not performed a light install, despite his profile including "lighting" under services included. He said that he may be able to do the job and knows how to, but that he has not actually completed a similar job before. I do not feel comfortable having van Hulst Handyman Services completing the job. That is the reason for my refund request.

Description of Work: I looked up for people that service my area and I made a purchase. the provider sent me a message to call but gave the wrong number..i called the 800 number to get the correct number and I called the provider and left my cell to call me. he returned my call told me didn't service my area and this has happened before. so I called the 800 back to get my money back

I apologize that I wasn't able to help you with your service request. The wrong phone number was a simple typo in my response message to your initial work request. The reason for the cancellation was due to a mistake on Angie's List part. At the time of your purchase of my services, I was in the process of amending my service areas in Dallas, FT. Worth. Angie's List incorrectly listed areas on their website which I do not service and I had to decline several work requests subsequently, yours being one of them. Description of Work: Nothing was done.Supposed to replace mail box post.Came unprepared just a hot mess.Charge 75.00 an hour and took that time to buy supplies and still didn't get it right I paid for supplies and was just glad to asked him to leave.The name of the young is Emmanuel Van-Holst.

I am very sorry that {removed member name} was not a satisfied customer and felt the need to leave this poor review. However, I would like to give an explanation of what happened as I feel that her review is grossly inaccurate. {removed member name} called me the day prior to the job and explained what she needed done. We scheduled a time for the following day and she accepted the hourly rate I quoted her. When I arrived at her house, I looked at the project and gave her an accurate estimate of the cost and explained that I needed to go to the hardware store to purchase the supplies necessary for the job. The objective for the job was a post for a mailbox to be installed, and the materials for it had to be purchased. Ms. Reed seemingly expected that I would have all the necessary materials already with me when I arrived. Maybe it was my fault for not making that clear before I arrived, however, it is standard practice to determine what is needed for A job and then to buy supplies if the customer does not already have them. Otherwise, I had no way of knowing exactly what was required for the job. Obviously, purchasing supplies for a customer is part of the service rendered to them, which includes the work time charged for this service. When I returned from the hardware store, I discovered that it would take 15-20 minutes over my original estimate to finish the job because there was old concrete below the ground that I needed to dig out. At that point, Ms. Reed was not willing to allow me to complete the job. She was not happy with the cost, although at that point, I was not over even the estimated amount of time I quoted for her. I arrived at the job on time and was professional in all my interactions with her. I did NOT charge $75 per hour. My hourly rate is $55 for the first hour and $45 for each additional hour. I worked for {removed name} for a little over an hour, and the additional amount that she paid was for the supplies, as I proved to her by the store receipt. {removed name} brought several false accusations concerning the purchase and my time spent for it against me, which I politely refuted while I was still there. My goal is to always be professional, honest and courteous with my clients. I'm sorry that I was not able to complete this job. I tried everything I could to satisfy this customer but was simply kept from doing so. However, it should be clear from the other reviews on this page that my clients are normally very satisfied with my work and are happy to recommend me to others.
