Great experience with this company. Huge thank you to Brandi for coordinating all the details and scheduling. Scott gave us a spot-on estimate. Mike, Jorge, Moses and Eddie were a great moving team, hard working and professional. I did not expect a long-distance move to go perfectly to plan, but the team from Element brought experience to the table that was invaluable to making those little quirky unexpected things work out. They definitely brought the stress level down for me.

This was a horrible experience! They were very unprofessional and overpriced. The day of the move the mover went to the wrong address making them 30 minutes late. My chester drawers were apparently dropped and now the third drawer is cracked and not functioning. Also, they ruined my 4 month old $999 dryer which me cost me an additional $375 to fix what they had done to it. The assembly of my bed was done completely wrong. When I asked them to follow up, the only thing they would fix was my bed. I only had 10 items to move and they broke 3 of them. At my new location there was an elevator so climbing stairs was not an excuse. After they had left, I noticed they caused this damage, which upset me since I tipped 60%. I will never use them again.

Still moved most of the small stuff myself. The guys from Element came in on schedule and moved the heavy stuff (washer/dryer, sofa, two big desks each with a hutch, a Cal-King memory foam mattress, etc.) The two hour minimum wasn't going to be close to being pushed so I had them move a few more items for me. At the new place I already had a washer/dryer. I had them (Mike) move it to the garage, connect my set, and then when I discovered we couldn't open the door from the garage to the laundry room because my washer was too deep they moved my set to the garage and re-installed the existing w/d. No complaints. The guys did great work and made real effort to not damage any walls or the furniture. Mike, Jorge, and Eddy all did great work and I'll use them in the future.

My movers Mike and Jorge showed up right on time and with such a great attitude. Mike quickly explained all of the paperwork and was eager to answer any questions I had. They quickly got my stuff on the truck and went straight to the new location. It was a bit of a walkup, (3 flights) but they never once complained or hesitated. They moved everything with the highest regard to safety and quality; ensuring not to damage anything. Not only would I use them again, but I will be reccomending them to everyone!

Nothing was broken. They put the boxes in the rooms marked and I had friends helping to direct them. That helped tremendously. It was approximately a two hour job. They did not need their truck at except to get there. They used a rolling cart for item too heavy to carry. I had delivery of furniture being made on the same day and this did not disrupt their handling of the move.

I believe this crew has the right elements (see what I did there?) to be a very efficient and hard working group of guys - I very much appreciate you all! Good to know: Pricing: $134/hour for three person crew. Wardrobe box was about $7 for rental Equipment: They have dollies, an abundance of moving blankets, moving boxes ($$), and wardrobe (see: HUGE) boxes available for rental Tips: Although tips aren't expected, I gave each one $20. I believe they'd appreciate the food even more (which we also provided). Other: They are not allowed to move ammo, guns, liquor and probably anything else that might go boom They cover .60 per pound per article, but it is not to be confused with insurance There's a minimum 25 dollar down payment required for booking They're not allowed to disassemble items. For example in our case, a crib. For liability reasons I imagine. They don't take personal checks, but accept cashiers/certified checks. Credit cards too, but a 3% service fee is not fun. In my case he didn't really have much change, so be prepared to have exact amount of cash. Details: I am one to do very extensive (perhaps too extensive) of research before buying any product or service. This was no exception. I am frugal, but have learned along the years that cheaper is not always better.With that in mind I found a Groupon deal for $134 that covered a 3 person moving team for 2 hours (basically 50% off, since their rate is 134/hr for 3 people + truck). Timeframe: Had we prepared ourselves by packing everything, it would have been sufficient time I believe. Unfortunately, due to some personal issues which I won't go into detail (f.e. 16 hr workdays), we didn't have it ready to go. Shame on us for that ultimately. Because of that our 2 hour move turned into 5.5 hours. They arrived shortly before 8:30am and worked all the way until 2:00pm. They were very thorough on the paperwork which I appreciated since not all companies will cover that with you. In the morning the crew arrived and was surprised but quickly adapted that packing services were needed. During the pre-move conversation with the admin dept, we were to have this packed. They set realistic expectations that this may be longer than 2 hours since the items were scattered and not packed. The team was very quick but careful in packing everything, and was confident enough that I stepped out for a little bit to get them some breakfast and juice. Once finished we drove from Grand Prairie to Carrollton. Moving: There was a bit of miscommunication from there as we'd stayed behind to grab some small items we wanted to carry in our car vs the movers, and when we'd gotten to the new home before they did, we were a bit worried. It turned out one of the movers daughter was transported to the hospital, so they had to detour to their homebase to drop him off and pick up another crew member. I completely understood and dispatch called me to apologize about the mix-up and credited us 30 minutes for the time 'off the clock'. The team quickly picked up the pace again and unloaded the items into our home and then went down the street to drop off the other items at a local storage unit. The guys were very fast at doing this and can not thank them enough.

A great crew, great service, would recommend them to anyone. My only complaint is maybe they wrapped things TOO much. At the end of the day though, everything was moved safe and sound.

The gentlemen in charge of the move were very cautious and conscience of my antiques and breakables. Most everything was moved without any damage at all which is amazing considering the size and age of the items. I highly recommend Element Moving and Storage and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

The initial estimate for the move was for one day and it was estimated to cost approximately $3,500; but the initial packing and move cost double that and took two days. We were not at home to supervise most of the move because my wife became very ill over the weekend, and we were with medical specialists most of the two days of the move. For reasons we never understood, they broke down some furniture and lamps and such into component parts that should not have been broken down. They put some components in one box and others in a different box. They ended up breaking a variety of items, including figurines in our curio cabinet, a clock, and several others. Much worse, they badly scratched our dining room Hutch (and broke a door), a teak coffee table, and a new cherry wood desk. The packed boxes were not marked; and so when the boxes arrived at the new home, we couldn't tell what box went to what room, without opening the box and guessing, since the components in the box were wrapped up as well. In some cases, some items were individually wrapped, and in others, major items were not wrapped. It was very inconsistent. The teak coffee table was intricately carved and imported from Thailand. It was severely cut and gouged. We asked for some consideration after they had obviously misjudged the initial cost estimate as we had used that estimate to negotiate the payment for the move. Element Moving said that they would try to assist us with the storage cost; but after weeks of discussions, they did nothing at all. We bought supplemental insurance from Move Insure (at Element's recommendation); but Move Insure went into reorganization and then refused to help, stating that according to the small print they were not liable for scratches and broken items that occurred during storage at Element Moving. And we couldn't prove where the breakage occurred. The moving crews of Element were nice guys who lacked training and supervision. We bought them drinks and we gave them a few hundred dollars tip. But the management at Element would not help us in any way.

The on-the-phone staff was excellent and very helpful with providing the estimates required by our future employer and scheduling the move. Our items were delivered within a couple of days of our arrival. |Our primary complaint is that many of the boxes were clearly mishandled to the point that some were wrapped in several layers of tape by someone to keep them together. Also, someone did not close the moving truck correctly and it rained on many of our items, lucking primarily boxes of papers and not valuable furniture. Some of our items are missing as well. Still unpacking but luckily seems to be items of lower value. |Of course, they want you to sign something verifying everything is delivered as soon as they finish unloading from the truck. There is no way to keep track when multiple movers are bringing in boxes and placing them all over the place, asking where they should go and placing them here and there. They also wanted us to check all of the rained on items as they brought them so it was not surprising that we discovered items were missing after we had signed the inventory form and the truck had left. I made one call to inquire about what is done for lost items but the call was not returned.

They did an excellent job and were straight forward to work with. I have already recommended their services several times. I worked with Sheila Knight, she was responsive to my calls and kept me in the loop at all times. Everyone in their customer service had excellent communication and was professional.

We thought their pricing was good compared to other companies we had checked into. They showed up when they were supposed to. There was a little confusion due to the partial move with storage but they resolved the issue right away. We are still working with them on some things we cannot seem to find which we emailed them about recently.

They did an excellent job. They had a crew of four working but I was told a few of them were in training. It took them about 6-8 hours to complete the move. We had no issues when working with them.

This was a process that was scheduled 7 months in advance. We were building a new home and awaiting its completion. Our family consists of my husband and me plus my parents live with us. As a result we have had a household full of items plus many things that have been in storage for a number of years. Element Moving was wonderful to work with. From the first in-home visit where an estimate was provided to the day of the move. The Element team was professional from beginning to end. We had a team of 5 using two trucks during the process. They were on-time, and paid close attention to detail when moving everything from a very large and heavy bedroom set to a Grandfather clock. Being a new house they paid close attention to not damaging the walls and staircase leading to the 2nd floor. They also were extremely aware of the new flooring. I as a new home owner really appreciated that! I would not hesitate to recommend their company or use them again in the future.

They unpacked all of our belongings for us as well. They did a great job and there were no damages to our items. They packed us on a Friday and unloaded our things in Santa Fe on Sunday.

Their pricing was very reasonable. They were a good honest company to work with. They were hard working and diligent. They stayed till eleven p.m. to finish the work. They were courteous and professional.

They were excellent from beginning to end. Great sales services, they answered all my questions and made sure my moving was stress free. The estimation made in situ was very accurate and the three guys crew that I got packed absolutely everything and took it to the new house in record time.

The two-man crew showed up a bit late due to bad weather and their previous move taking longer than anticipated. However, they were very efficient which made up for the time difference. I did not have a lot of stuff, but the team wasted no time getting to work. My items were handled with care, and my furniture (couch, bed, nightstands) were wrapped well to protect the pieces in transport. The movers were very professional the whole time. This company had a three-hour minimum charge and my move was finished within two hours, so there were no surprises with the fees. I would definitely use this company again.

Quick, professional, painless elements is awesome. I would not only recommend them I would use them again.
