Element Moving & Storage

The move went amazingly well! Element moving was on time, which is not common when moving. (Trust me I move more often than I would like due to work). The guy that called me to go over pricing with me was on point. He was knowledgeable, funny and accurate. The lady that called me to confirm my pick up time was also very nice and informative as well. Movers, showed up like I said, on time. They were quick and careful. They are true professionals when it comes to moving and speaking to their clients. Not a dent, ding, or scratch on anything! They took care of all my artwork. Crated my heirloom mirror. I will be moving again and I will with out a doubt use Element Moving and Storage again and would recomend them to any body that needs a competent mover.

Movers were professional and polite. Everyone worked hard and took care of my things. All of my furniture was wrapped appropriately and mats were placed to protect my floors. They asked where things should be placed and were helpful when I wanted things moved. I will recommend Element Moving to everyone.

It was the best moving experience ever.

At first I thought it went really well. But that was before I actually went around and looked at the furniture. My new desk had nicks in it. My old Cedar Chest, which I have had for over 20 years. It originally had a few nicks and scrapes, but now it has an excessive amount on nicks, and wood splinter off of it. Then I went through dresser and nightstand drawers. Oh my gosh! It look like every drawer had been rummaged through. I paid more than I ever had before in my life for a mover, thinking that would ensure a quality mover. But Element sent out guys that did not handle our things with care. So disappointed.

Slow, broke promises, recommend you continue to look for service form other providers

The movers were late by over 2 hours to start. They were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately the size of the move doubled but the price tripled. I gave them the date I would be able to receive the goods as the Tuesady after the holiday weekend. They first told me it would be two weeks after that Tuesday, then called and said it would be there on that Tuesday. Then they called and said no it wouldn't and they didn't know when it would get there. Then over the holiday weekend they called and said it was on its way and could I get it on Sunday during the holiday weekend. Since I was out of the state that was not going to happen and I told them this. They then kept calling and asking can I get it on that Monday.They threatened that it would cost more and even that they couldn't guarantee their 21 day delivery requirement in the contract. I finally told them to stop calling me that I couldn't receive the goods until Tuesday. On that Tuesday, they delivered the goods and the delivery went smoothly.

The actual move went well overall. The movers arrived on time, were professional and seemed to know what they were doing. It wasn't until a couple weeks later that we notice a large chip on the side of our dining room table. I went online and downloaded the claim form and followed the instructions for submitting a claim, which included emailing the completed form and pictures of the damage. All were sent within the 90 day requirement for filing a claim. I received a standard reply saying someone would be in contact with me. I waited a month - no one contacted me. I resent the email with the claim form and pictures - NO REPLY. About three weeks later I called and the man who answered said that I would need to speak to Jazmine, she did not answer so I left a message - NO RETURN CALL. So I would recommend them if you're absolutely sure nothing will be damaged. If there is damage, they have no intention of making things right. So basically, I recommend you find another moving company with a better sense of ethics.

Please BEWARE, this company will nickel and dime you to death with undisclosed fees! It took three weeks for them to reimburse me for fees that I should not have been charged for in the first place. In the end, I did get some reimbursement back, but it was no where near the amount it should have been. I gave up trying because it was just a losing battle!

Once salesman sold the deal, I was dead to him. Had to make multiple calls/emails/threats to post on social media in order to get anyone to give me info about my move. Company is VERY bad about keeping customer informed of anything. Movers got armoire stuck in staircase and insisted house had changed since armoire installed. Not! Lots of damage done to walls and furniture, but next to impossible to file a claim.

Overall an excellent experience. We spent 20 years in the military so we are no strangers to moving. This was by far one of the best moves we've had. A few minor complaints; they missed one lower cabinet in the kitchen while packing. I found it doing a walk thru after they left. It was only one small box full, so not a big deal. They also failed to remove the bolts that secure the drum in the washing machine when they reinstalled it. But again not a huge deal. I found it while checking the connections on the washer. The crew was professional and worked non-stop. Their efficiency saved us a lot of money since they were on an hourly rate. We highly recommend Element Moving and Storage for your next move.

At first, I would've rated them higher because of their responsiveness, but then I would change that to a "C". I think when they first came, they did very well, but as time went on they began to get sloppy with their work. They were coming late. They would promise one time, then be out later than what they made it. They didn't do the job the way they should have. Because they got there late, they had to work late. The things were suppose to be moved from storage. They didn't large enough space, and we had to have pickup's large enough to move things. I was really upset. They were unpacking things, and some things were left behind. There were some other people's property in my shipment. They charged by the hour and everything. They said they had to use more packing material than they thought. They included packing as part of the move. It was just terribly done. It was just a mess. I liked the personalities of the packers, and the driver was nice, it's just that they complained that I had more stuff than they thought. I can't control that. I worked in personal property shipment in the Air Force, and this was not done that well.

The guys were awesome and finished in the estimated time that was quoted to me. They were very polite and fun to be around.

They guys you sent on both days were fantastic! They were fast, packed and moved items with care, and were done in the expected timeframe. I would definitely use them again.

Working with Element was easy. The booking process was very thorough. Our move was a big one, so they sent out an estimator to our home to give us an exact cost of the move. We really appreciated this, because our last move with a different mover didn't go so well, because they underestimated how much furniture we had. Movers quoted us for two trucks, four movers, and ten hours of labor. They were spot-on with that estimate--that's exactly how long it took us. I was really impressed with the amount of care they took in protecting our furniture. Nothing was damaged. Team was easy to communicate with.

It was fine. They were more accommodating than the bigs, and less expensive, but a little lacking in communications.

They were prompt, courteous and very careful with the furniture. The work was just what we wanted. They are efficient and will take care of your furniture.

My husband and I have moved about 15 times in the last 30 years; many of the moves were international. We did not expect this move to be one of the best we've ever experienced. The customer service was excellent from my first phone call to the final box being put into our new home. The team they sent was amazing. They were very careful with our belongings and worked at lightening speed. On top of that they were very personable young men. We would highly recommend Element!

Great service. Hard-working guys at a decent price, though I think we overtipped. There were some minor snafus: we had some minor damage on items we had marked "fragile"; Kyle told me they'd hook up the washer/dryer, but the driver told me they don't - they did so anyways, but the hot/cold on the washer were flip-flopped; and Kyle didn't tell me about prohibited items (liquids).

In their ad it stated 2 hours, but in one of the communications that I received it said 3 hours, so I assumed it was for three hours. When they came to do the work, they only honored 2 hours.

Very fair/average. 1 truck was not enough, but I did have the option of having them come out to assess what needed moving. I got too busy to set this up. There were 3 guys to move me. One of the workers constantly stopped moving to fold moving blankets and remove the tape from them on MY time. I was extremely frustrated and annoyed with this and asked him to stop and do it after everything was moved. They said they have to do it on customer's time. This easily costed me an hour or more and will not use them again for this reason!

The estimate for how long to complete the job was the biggest problem. They had estimated an 8 hour job and the sales person said that the estimates for materials and time were usually over so that they could easily be within the time frame. I wanted a day gap since my shipping container would arrive at a particular time and any extra time they had to stay would cost me $85/hour. But the sales guy was confident it would be done within the estimated time. When the guys came they felt it would be hard to complete in 8 hours. It took 11.5 hours and I missed my shipping window and my container will now arrive a week later with some extra docking charges. The stress was too much on moving day.

Every facet of Element's work is exceptionally well done! From the office staff's attentiveness and flexibility, to the moving crew's careful handling of all the items (we had some every large and some very delicate items) and their polite and pleasant demeanor, to the follow-up to ensure our satisfaction, were all to be rated A+++!!

The first thing that comes to mind is how punctual and professional the entire staff was throughout the process. This was a very large home and it took 3 days to pack us up and then an entire day to load up the truck. They were on time everyday, very neat and clean and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. When I realized I had neglected to set aside the dog leashes that were kept in a drawer in the kitchen area, the manger of the team calmly looked at me and said "no problem". (They had to re-open over 10 boxes to find them). When the job was done, and loaded on the truck, we did a walk through of the house and found 6 boxes that hadn't been loaded but there wasn't time or room to fit them in. The manager said we'll ship them to you at no cost. These were 6 wardrobe boxes and I couldn't believe they would do that. When everything arrived in Phoenix, not one item was broken. They were efficient in unpacking and made sure the boxes all went into the correct rooms. Beds and the piano were all put together exactly where I wanted them. I would highly recommend using them to anyone.
