Cannot say enough about how positive the experience was from start to finish with Rick (the owner) and Terry (who did the work). We initially contacted on a Wednesday morning due to an electrical burning smell in our living room. They were prompt in responding to my call and worked with me on the appointment time due to my hectic schedule. Terry came out that afternoon/evening and replaced an outlet for us which was bad. He also checked our electrical panel and gave me a price estimate for replacing it, as it is original to our house and we were aware that it had "problems." My husband and I planned to replace the panel later this year; however, that apparently was not in the cards. Thursday morning our freezer went out, so we called Rick and made arrangements to have the electrical panel replaced that coming Monday. My husband stayed home to meet them to let them in the house and then leave for work. Unfortunately, due to their supplier, Terry was later than expected, but they more than compensated for it. They were at our house until 6 that evening replacing the panel and installing smoke detectors due to code requirements where we live. Terry and Rick made arrangements for one of them to meet the inspector at our house later in the week so that neither my husband nor I would have to miss additional work. However, my son got sick, which allowed me to be home. Rick (the owner) did come out to meet the inspector who was in and out of our house in a very short time. He found their work to be up to code and without flaw. Both Rick and Terry were a pleasure to deal with! They were professional, responsive, answered my questions, and their customer service was without flaw. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and will definitely be using them in the future!

Nick (the owner) and Jeremy (service provider) provided me best in class service from start to finish. Jeremy came out to my house, spent over an hour figuring out the multiple issues with my phone line, replaced the phone line, then adjusted the wiring in order to have my phones and internet function properly. Unfortunately, my line went out the next day (which was a Verizon issue and was not the fault of Electricman), and Verizon was too incompetent to fix the issue on their own. I called Nick on a Saturday to try to get some advice from him on what to do, and Nick sent Jeremy back out to my house (on a Saturday when they were not on regular working hours) in order for Jeremy to help me with my Verizon issue. Jeremy was not only able to fix the issue, but at no charge. If there was a manual on how to do business, retain customers, and do it with honesty and integrity, then this company should write it.

Terry came here and did the job on schedule. They were on time to start work and installed everything in about 3 hours

Per our home buyer's inspection report, they wanted us to replace the AC breaker and put our dishwasher on it's own circuit (circa 1925 house had 9 amp dishwasher sharing a 20 amp circuit with a counter plug. Not a big deal but seller wanted it done.) The first time Terry came out, he replaced the AC breaker in two seconds, inspected the dishwasher situation and told me he'd be happy to put it on it's own circuit but it wasn't necessary for various reasons. I liked that he was willing to turn away money to do the right thing. Well, per my realtor, we sent Terry on his way. Our buyer later requested that the dishwasher still be placed on it's own circuit. Terry came back and did the job wonderfully. Even waived the discharge fee. I feel Electricman, Inc.'s prices are fair, the electricians are trustworthy, efficient, and honest. I'll definitely be using them in the future!

Overall it went very well. Arrived on time and set to work. Finished quickly without rushing and cleaned up afterwards. Only part I didn't like was a "dispatch" charge of $49. I could understand if they came out and then I changed my mind about the work. But I didn't. Not sure if all electricians charge this fee. It may be a common practice.

Nick is super-friendly and extremely knowledgeable. In addition to completing the work on our kitchen and stairwell, he designed a future lighting plan for our entire second floor. His crew completed the job professionally and on time. The only negative I have to report is that they did not cover our wood floors before cutting into our plaster ceilings. There was plaster everywhere and took several weeks and multiple scrubbings to get all the ground-in plaster out of our floors (even though the crew did sweep and mop after their job). Despite that, I would (and have) definitely use them again for any electrical work we need done.

The owner called me back in 30 seconds, he added me as the last call for that day. He was professional, friendly and helpful. He sent a nice professional electrician to my house earlier that stated. He verified the probelm, spoke to my pool company service man over the phone and fixed the problem immediately. Fast, professional AND I got a discount for being a Angie's List customer. You can't beat that. Electric man is now on my speed dial!

They were great. The guy who came out here he was completely honest and straight forward. He and my husband were out there looking at the box and he flat out told him that the electrical box had to be replaced. What stood out about him the most is his honesty, which is the main thing and his punctuality. We had a kind of dangerous situation and he changed his schedule around to make sure he could get us in and get it taken care of. He was fabulous. His name was Allan. I will definitely use him in the future and I have recommended him to two or three other people.

I moved into a new home, and I realized the living room lights wouldn't come on. I was confused and couldn't resolve the problem. I wanted this problem addressed promptly and I didn't want to have take off work on Monday to addresss this problem. I called electricman at 7:30 AM on a Saturday and the phone was answered. While I had gotten someone out of bed, they were still happy to help. He also explained his rates, which I thought was professional. They dispatched a licensed electrician who arrived by 9:30 AM. My problem was diagnosed within 30 minutes a broken dimmer switch, which was also in a 3-way switch configuration. Electrician did not have the same dimmer switch and he offered to let me save money and fix myself or he offered to make a trip to Home Depot. I chose the latter as at this point, I didn't want to deal with this. At every step of the way, the electrician was helpful, knowledgable and he a good attitude--focussed on helping the customer. When the work was completed, he inquired if there was anything I needed. Their service was excellent and my problem was resolved. Overall, very good service!

I called several companies on Angies List but felt that Nick (Owner) who came to give me the estimate was not only a Master Electrician but a great and proud business man who took pride in his work as well as his staff. On the day of the install, the appointment was set for 9:00AM, I got a call from Terry around 8:45 that they would be a bit late, they showed up at 9:05. Terry and Cheyenne were very polite and got right to work - without power for several hours I felt totally comfortable leaving them in my garage while I did a few errands. The new panel and full house surge protector were in and power restored after about 4 hours. The were very thorough in checking all lights, appliances and plugs to ensure everything was up and running and labled everything ( so I could read it) on the panel. Next day was the inspection - again an ElectricMan represenative was on time to wait for the inspector - who of course showed in the last part of the 2 hour window. Everything passed without issue. I would definatly use ElectricMan again for any job large or small.

Had been having intermittent issues with a bathroom switch and lights, a bedroom ceiling fan, and another ceiling fan that comes on by itself. I could hear crackling in the bathroom outlet so I knew it was urgent. I called them on a Sunday planning to leave a message to arrange service - and someone answered he phone, a pleasant surprise. Had a very nice conversation and scheduled service for today. They could have come Monday but I was not available. Rick called to say he was on his way and arrived promptly. Service took less than hour. He fixed what was wrong in the bedroom and bathroom, and explained everything. He also explained why the second ceiling fan was malfunctioning and assured me that it was not an electrical problem. Electrical issues are very scary - a friend just lost everything in a house fire - and I feel very confident that I got the best service today and do not have other urgent issues that need work. I would definitely use this company again.

Great. They arrived on time, did the job as stated, and even went above and beyond by moving rock wall obstruction. All in one day. If you have Federal Pacific panels - BEWARE! These are a documented fire hazard! If you saw the burned breakers we removed, you would pickup the phone now. Scary stuff. I got several bids and these guys we're in the right ballpark and did really nice job. We got our inspection done the next day. Highly recommended.

Professional telephone operator, repairman arrived earlier than expected, immediately diagnosed problem, fixed it and was gone in 20 minutes. Friendly and courteous.

Everything was very professional including-the estimate- the quality of the parts, and especially the installation. The installers replaced some aluminum wiring with copper at no charge. I was kept informed of what was going on as the work progressed. They did a good job of cleaning up when finished. The installer showed me some burn marks inside the old breaker box that indicated the box may have been close to failing and was not safe. I am very pleased with this company and will continue to use them for all electrical work at my home.

I have never worked with any household services company which had better customer services and attention to quality than Electricman. This was my first experience using Angie's List to find a contractor, and I couldn't be happier. Nick came out quickly to give us a estimate that was appropriate to the job (unlike an ad and commercial heavy local outfit which gave us a outrageous quote for the same work). On the day scheduled for our work, Electricman showed up on time with a large crew of clean cut, friendly professionals to do the work very quickly and carefully. What struck us the most was the fact that each crew member was happy and positive. You could tell they enjoyed their work and the firm they are working for. Nick is clearly not only a great master electrician, but also a great business man and leader. After they completed our work, Nick came out the next day to wait on the City for the inspection for us so that we would not be inconvenienced by it. We also had some follow-up questions after the job, and Nick always responded very promptly.

The job was very done. There were no issues with the work. I would recommend using them. I found them on Angie's List.

I called requesting service as my electric was out in all of my bathrooms. Rather than charge me for a visit, they told me what to do over the phone! It fixed the problem and I will be a customer for life. Thanks so much.

Nick was great in that he came out a couple of times before the work was even started. His pricing was below what other highly rated companies were quoting. He cleared everything with the inspectors before work had begun. Mariano, Rafael, Terry and Rick all came out with Nick bright and early in the morning and stayed until 7-8 to make sure we had power for that night. My install was kind of tricky as I live in a 1935 house. There were a couple of small things that the inspector was going to require to bring the house up to code. Nick and the guys did not nickel and dime me. They did not charge me for those items. The next day Mariano showed up bright and early as well and waited for the inspector to come and of course we passed with flying colors. I would recommend them to anybody needing electrical work and I am obviously going to be using them again.

Estimate was done within a day and Nick was present with Terry who would be doing the work. They were very down to earth in their description of what needed to be done and also how much it would cost. I also liked the fact that Nick introduced me to Terry and said if we went forward with the estimate that Terry would be the one completing the work. They arrived exactly on time the day the work needed to be done (still shocks me how many other contractors cannot do this). They began working immediately and by the end of the job there had been five representatives from Electricman that stopped by to pitch in with the work. Three completed the majority of the work and they did an excellent job of it. Nick (president) also stopped by to make sure everything was going well and if I was happy so far with the work. All Electrman reps were professional and answered my questions whenever I would ask. They also checked with me prior to doing any of the items to make sure we were on the same page. The work was completed in less time than they had estimated and looked great. All items changed/installed/upgraded work perfectly and we no longer have overloading issues with our service panel. The inspection was scheduled promptly for the coming Monday (work was done on a Friday) and it passed with flying colors. Nice to have someone pull a permit, complete the work, clean up and be there for the inspection with no issues happening at all during the process. We now have an electrician I feel safe in calling back for any work. We'll be using them in the future to install some recessed lighting when we get to it and I have no hesitations in asking them to perform the work. I highly recommend Nick, Terry and the entire Electricman crew as they delivered what was promised on time and for a greatly competitive price.

These guys did an outstanding job replacing our old Federal Pacific panel, adding a dedicated circuit for our refrigerator, and a couple of other changes. The price was lower than expected and after getting sticker shock from other types of work it was a pleasant surprise. Probably the area that most impressed me was punctuality. Nick answered when I first called, set a time to come out, and was there a couple of minutes early. Same thing on the work day. Nick also scheduled, and arrived early for, the code inspector?s visit the next day. The inspector signed off on Electricman?s work very quickly, so we felt even more assured that the work was excellent. For anyone who has to leave work to meet contractors, punctuality is a big deal, and Nick made the process as painless as possible. We're planning a bathroom remodel in the near future and will absolutely call Electricman again.
