Our furnace had no electricity to it. Turned out that the furnace was wired to a GFI plug and somehow was tripped. He located the problem quickly and corrected the wiring.

Lost power to garage refrigerator, computers, and some overhead lights inside. Called Nick (the owner) and he suggested that I first call my Power company to make sure there weren't any outages in the area and to check equipment external to my house. After factoring that out I called him back and he sent Brian out to work on our issue. Brian called in advance of arriving and was here very soon after my call. Brian found the issue in one of our light switches and repaired that. I also had some GCFIs that needed replacing out in my back yard and Brian stayed and replaced those as well. Both Nick and Brian were very polite and professional and completed all the items to my satisfaction at a fair price. I will definitely use this company again for any future electrical work I have.

Brian and Raplph called before the arrived, were right on time and got right to work. They were able to assess the situation, determine the best approach and worked fast to keep th hourly cost down. They were done in less than an hour and out. I would use them again and request these two iwhen I use this company. The Angie's list 5% off was also nice.

Lightning struck right next to my house late Saturday night, and we lost almost everything with a circuit board. We found that one of the outlets had burn marks, and the fire department recommended we have an electrician out before we has all the myriad repair people out to start repairing/replacing items. I found Nick here on Angie's List, and since he had such great reviews (and the Super Special was an added bonus), I sent him an email letting him know my situation, and to have him call me -- I hoped for a call on the following Monday, since it was a weekend. He actually saw my email on Sunday evening, and called me as soon as he read it!! He told me that he would get me scheduled on Monday. Monday afternoon, promptly at 2:00, Damian arrived. I told him what had happened, and we went through the house. When I showed him the outlet I had found (under a big plug for the security system), he said it looked like an old problem, because it since been painted around. He took the plate out, pulled the outlet out, examined the wires and everything to make sure that the wiring was okay -- it was (phew!). He went through the rest of the house, made a few recommendations, and then installed the surge protector under the fuse box. He was very, very good about listening to my concerns and showing me what needed to be addressed. That very afternoon, Nick called back to follow up and make sure everything was done to satisfaction. I am more than pleased with these guys, and will not hesitate to recommend them to others!

Awesome! As usualy Terry showed up very promptly with a phone call prior to arrival. Terry is very professional and personable. We have used Electricman numerous times and have always been very satisfied. This time is no different, a light that Terry had installed back in December was no longer working. He quickly diagnosed the problem as faulty switch. He quickly replaced it and was on his way. I think of no other company to repair or install anything electrical but Electricman. They are simply the very best!

The serviceman was on time and very courteous. He got right to work, diagnosed the issues and fixed the problems. He was knowledgeable and informative. I would use this company again in the future.

I saw the discounted whole house inspection and surge protection, with coupon for 5% off other services on Angies' List, so I read many of the reviews and decided to go with ElectricMan. With a history of rodents in the attic and a malfunctioning porch light, I thought having a complete inspection would be good idea. I called to schedule and Nick explained the entire process to me. The electrician, Terry, showed up right on time and got straight to work. He checked every light switch and plug for evidence of damage or overheating, and appropriate voltage, and he found one that needed replacing (which he replaced on the spot). He went into the attic and explored it very thoroughly and inspected wires, especially the one for the porch light. He explained what he found and pointed out the areas of concern where the rodents had been. He installed the surge protector adjacent to the breaker box. He also installed the two additional outlets I had requested and gave me a quote for wiring and hanging two ceiling fans on the patio. His quote for that was cheaper than another I had obtained, plus he provided advice on obtaining remotes so that I can control the fans without installation of a wall switch. I will definitely be calling ElectricMan back to do that work. Terry was very thorough and professional, he explained everything he was doing and what he found, and he also cleaned up where he installed the additional plugs. As to the ratings, I only gave price a B because I thought the charge for one of the additional plugs was kind of high, but I don't know much about electrical work. I think the $468 for the whole house inspection is a very good value, and it's good to know that I don't have safety issues with my wiring.

We called Electricman and Nick sent Damon and another gentlemen over to the house within a few days to assess what we wanted to do. Both technicians were very knowledgeable and spent a sufficient amount of time giving advice and making suggestions so that we would have enough information to put together our plan. After their visit, we came up with our list of needs and began ordering light fixtures. I sent our list to Nick. He asked for an appointment to come by and go over the plan in person with me and my husband. He spent about two hours in our home talking through the best ways for us to accomplish our project and had numerous options and suggestions for improvements. My husband, who is normally very skeptical of people, felt confident we had selected the right company to do the job. Nick sent us a detailed estimate the next day. We received a quote from another company and it was very close to Nick's quote so we also felt confident that his pricing was on target and a good value considering the 2-3 hours of consultation we received in advance from both Nick and Damon. When I followed up with Nick to schedule the work, he got us on the calendar within the week. He then followed up with an email saying he would send two trucks (four guys) to get everything done in one day. Yay! On the actual work day, everyone (including Nick) was on-site by 9:30 and ready to roll. Nick stayed for at least an hour making sure everyone understood the project. The guys were polite, professional, good communicators and steady workers with few breaks. Even though they were cutting holes in sheet rock, they were very concerned about making sure I knew in advance what to expect in terms of dust--before they started. They did an excellent job cleaning up before they left. Nick called that evening to be sure we were satisfied with the job. We have another small job to do in the future and we will not hesitate to call Nick. We also wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to our friends.

The ElectricMan did a wonderful job from start to finish. My husband and I just purchased an older home. Nick and Terry were extremely helpful by explaining what our options were for the needed repairs and desired upgrades. After the initial inspection, Nick presented us with an itemized bid for the job. This was extremely helpful. We were able to consider and reconsider some of the options offered before the job began. The crew (including Nick and Terry) showed up on time and got to work. They were professional and meticulous, as well as, quite patient with me as I asked many questions and requested a few changes along the way. Terry explained each step of the way the cost of the changes, helping to stay on target with our budget. The whole crew was extremely thorough and conscientious about their work... a great team! We will definitely call the ElectricMan when we start our next round of renovations.

The experience was not very good. The initial estimate was half of the total. The initial work like circuiting behind the wall was very good but the finished work was extremely poor.

Overall, it was a very positive experience. They called to let me know they were on the way and arrived at the time promised. They went through each of our concerns and while they could not address all (we needed spotlights in our trees replaced), they were able to offer alternative solutions. Work was done on same day and thoroughly explained. Pricing was explained when the appointment was scheduled and then again before the work was performed.

One of my outlets had blown and I wanted to take advantage of the offer for a complete electric checkup. I called on a Sunday and the call was answered right away. I had reached the electrician on call and he understood why I was calling and whether I could make an appointment that week. He advised me of the earliest date that week and also that he would refer my problem to the owner and have him followup on Monday. Nick called me on Monday and listened intently to my problem of moving into a 30 year home from out of state and feeling unsafe because of the blown outlet. He assured me everything would be cared for when the tech came out. Terry, the electrician tech, was prompt and again listened and investigated the outlet that had blown, then proceeded to check all the electrical. I felt relief. He took me to my panel and explained everything and walked around the home so I could point out my issues. His patience with me was incredible since I talk in layman's language and not technical. He explained to me where I needed GFCIs installed to ensure I would feel comfortable and safe in the future.There was no pressure to call this company back after giving the estimate of the work I wanted done.After sleeping on what I was told I realized that what he was suggesting was what I had in my home out of state that made me secure.The price was reasonablefor the work to be done. I called them back the next day to make an appt for their return to install several GFCI circuits.

They spent about 2 hours installing the fixtures I provided in my closet and that went well. Then they added an outlet above an existing GFI outlet in the garage. That took longer, and was a bit more complicated. My biggest complaint was they did not clean up properly after they were finished. They left some mess in the garage, and they actually threw away a can opener of mine by accident. Their attention to detail was lacking.

The ElectricMan was on time, professional, and focused on the job. A grounded outlet had blown out. He explained that with the metal decorative plate, sparks flew because of a frayed wire. He repaired the outlet and gave me a more appropriate outlet cover. In and out in15 minutes leaving behind a happy, satisfied customer.

Damon and helper arrived on time after calling to confirm appointment time. I always appreciate knowing who is coming and getting an update on ETA. They quickly assessed the problem, removed a faulty part and got the downstairs light portion of the ceiling fan back in working order. The fact that they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it saved me the cost of a new fixture. The guest bedroom on the second floor did not have any ceiling fixtures. They installed a new fan with light without any damage to surrounding areas and got it up and working in pretty quick order. I was most appreciative that they paid equal attention to the clean up following the job and were nice enough to discard the cartons and wrapping materials in a dumpster that I was not able to reach. Very professional, personable folks with whom to do business. Quality work by quality people.

Terry was very professional. The work was done well and he was on time and polite. But I thought the cost was excessive. In less than an hour he replaced a GFI outlet in the garage and an outlet next to the front porch with a new one that had a plastic bubble cover. For $256.00.

Great. Daman was wonderful. Owner answered the phone and scheduled the appointment right away. On time. Great work. Will use again. A wonderful experience.

Terry, the electrician that was sent out, was very professional, knowledgable, and easy to talk to. He quickly assessed what needed to be done, gave me a final quote, and performed the work that I authorized. He also answered all of my questions about the permit requirements and process. In the past, I have worked in service, support, and repair positions, so I have an understanding for customer service, and expect nothing less than the type of professional attitude and work ethic that I would bring to the job site myself. With that in mind, for future work needed, I will be using ElectricMan, and asking for Terry specifically.

Nick's crew came out and as always was on time. Terry was very instrumental in helping me get in contact with a group that could do the reframing in order to get lights aligned properly - both crews worked together flawlessly and got lights installed as well as all dimmers and switches needed to run lights separately. I have had Nick's crew out many times and each and every time - they continue to impress me with their professionalism and knowledge. Anybody using his company will not be disappointed.

It went great. Electrician called when he said and arrived when he said. We supplied the new device that was the replacement and in no time Terry had it all installed. He even explained how and why the outlet blew out. Terry was very professional but personable, too.

From start to finishe, it was a very positive experience. They were in and out completing the job very efficiently.

Terry and Rafael showed up on time, let me know what they needed to do to install the two outdoor security lights and were done in about an hour. Everything was cleaned up very well. Very professional and efficient team and a very smooth transaction. Love it. A++++++++
