Description of Work: Our Air conditioning went down and so did the washer and dryer. We called the AC guy and he indicated that this must be an electrical problem. It was a Sunday at 7pm. It was really hot here in Texas. Our one year old was sweating and tired. I called Electricman and was answered immediately. I described the problem over the phone and he indicated that this is an outside power failure. Apparently 2 110 volt wires come to each house and the are combined to create 220 volts for certain home appliances. He said I should call the power company and that they should repair it for free. How was right. I appreciate him not sending a tech and charging me a diagnostic fee on a sunday while knowing they can't fix the problem. He was professional and honest. What else do you need!

Description of Work: upgraded from a single oven to a double oven. They replaced a 30amp breaker with a 50 amp breaker and ran a new wire from the box. They are awesome

Description of Work: These guys are fantastic! We had a new panel installed to replace our old Federal Pacific (fire hazard) one. This included bringing all of our grounding up to code (not an easy task given the odd location of our hot water heater). They worked around my crazy schedule that day and went above and beyond to plan out the job beforehand to ensure there were no glitches or surprises the day of. I am completely happy with the work that was done and I'm very impressed with their level of concern and professionalism. I'll definitely use them for any and all future electrical needs. Even the city inspector commented on the high level of the work done.

Description of Work: I called and scheduled to have to timers installed - when I made the appointment (which was three days in advance) I was asked whether or not I would supply the timers or if they needed to. I said that they needed to which of course increased the cost of the estimate. I did not mind I just wanted the job done. The scheduled appointment was for 2:00 pm on a Friday - which I had taken time off of work - at 3:15 pm I finally received a phone call from technician saying he was on his way. He called back 10 minutes later asking whether or not he needed to stop and purchase the timer, I said yes! He called me again from Home Depot saying they were a special order (not - as I have purchase them myself in the past) and that he would have to reschedule the appointment for the following Monday or Tuesday. Although irritated I said fine.....it's been two weeks now and I've not heard a word from anyone in the company. I have since found someone else to complete this job at a much better price and obviously service!!!!!

Description of Work: This is the second time I had work done by Electric Man. They installed a gfi outlet for our deck. They were punctual and completed within 2 hours. The quality were superior. I will continue to use them.

Description of Work: Installed whole house surge protector into my breaker box. He has been very helpful when I called to ask what I had to have in order to have it installed. Also checked all connections in breaker box and outlets in house as I had been having power outages randomly. He also recommended that I call my Electric company and have them check my outside connections which they did. Haven't had a power outage since so hopefully it did the trick. Service tech was friendly, helpful and on time. I used them because we had used them at our business in Plano back in May of 2010, had a good experience then too.

Description of Work: My home is an older home with only a 2-wire system. I had been experiencing brownouts and flickering lights. Terry and crew rebuilt my electric service, installing a service riser and breaker box on the exterior, and installing several grounded outlets. They were very professional and prompt. I am very happy with the quality of their work, and would have no problem recommending them to anyone.

Description of Work: The circuit for my garage door, outside outlets and bathrooms wasn't working. It turned out the outside outlet had gotten wet and that tripped it. I didn't realize I needed to trip the master circuit switch on the panel to re-set it. The electrician with Electricman showed me what to do for future situations. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. The price of $113 for a 15 minute visit was a lot but I think that is what I would have been charged by any electrician.

Description of Work: We had an old fuse box and various small projects done around the house. we had a great experience with Electricman. Their techs were very professional and fast. They handled everything and called to check up on us the next day. $ was great. i would use them again for sure.

Description of Work: Our lights went out in half of our clinic on the day we had patient's. They came promptly and stayed until the problem, two burned out wires, was found and fixed. Our lights were back on by the end of the day.
