Eco-Safe Pest Control

The gentlemen (Jose) that comes to our house is very friendly and punctual. He always answers any questions and gives us free bug traps. One time, he didn't have any in the truck and he dropped them off the next day. Eco-safe also does mosquito spraying which we felt we needed during the West Nile outbreak. That costs about $100 and lasts a month. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone! Update -Our tech has changed. I'd say my only complaint is that we'll have a scheduled time and every time the technician is scheduled, he'll call and say he's ahead of schedule and wants to know if he can come early (which could mean a few hours early). If it's not convenient, I just say so. But in general, there's a reason I have the appointment scheduled for a certain time.

Mike came, he was early (great!), and gave us DIY suggestions for getting rid of the moths and ants since they weren't as big of an issue as I had thought.

They are excellent. They are very friendly and efficient. I use them because they are green. The products that they use are safe not only for the environment but for the animals also. They did a good job and they are green; that’s most important thing for me.

I really like them. I can't smell what they use. They come in and check every room, if they see anything they will use the appropriate treatment. If we see anything in between we call them and they come free of charge. They are punctual. Mike, the technician, puts on shoe covers and always asks if there are any problem areas first. He is a very polite young man.

This guy was excellent. He was very knowledgeable. They have a super service award from Angie’s list in 2009. He was very knowledgeable about what could or couldn’t be used around birds particularly. He was very nice and professional. He was on time. He took the time to sit down with me and give the options. He was very patient. They are on my list. I will call them again. I will give them excellent rating. They were reasonably priced. I used another company and this guy made me feel more comfortable. They knew what they were doing. It’s a small company. I would use them in the future.

We will definitely use Ecosafe again. We used them last summer after a recommendation from our neighbor, and we had fewer mosquitoes after the treatments, so we were happy, but we weren't sure if it was partly because of the hot/dry summer. This past week, our mosquitoes went from lots to zero after the treatment, so I am very happy and felt I should write a review. On Wednesday before the treatment, the kids played outside in the afternoon and were eaten up by mosquitoes (could see them landing on the kids, and my toddler had bites on his face & neck after 15 minutes even though I'd sprayed repellant on his clothes). So, Ecosafe came out and sprayed garlic/peppermint on Friday morning. When we went outside to play Friday afternoon at the same time of day as we'd been outside on Wednesday, for nearly an hour this time, the mosquitoes were GONE. Not a single bite, & didn't see any flying around. I am nervous about chemicals around the kids, so we had Ecosafe spray just a garlic/peppermint mosquito barrier, and it totally worked. The yard had a mild garlic smell for the afternoon, but it wasn't unpleasant (my older son said he likes the smell). I am a fan. Thank you!!

For over 10 years, I have had an overall excellent experience. They are wonderful about scheduling my quarterly visits over the phone. In all of these years, the exterminator (who is very nice to our dogs) has not only been punctual, but EARLY. This cannot be said for many residential service providers. For a working professional, this is important.

I like that it is green because they don't use harsh chemicals. Their price is also good.

They did a fine job, however we live next to 2 pasture lots so we have had more bugs show up so they come back every 3 months. They use materials that are natural stuff but still get the job done. You don't have to worry about the chemical smell. They were incredibly kind, very effective and I thought we got a really good deal considering the size of our house They did inside and outside, I thought it as very thorough. We had choking dyeing critters within hours. They got here about an hour early.

they treated inside, under sinks and counters, closets and garage, and outside all eco friendly and pet safe. we didnt see any bugs or sign they had been there.

I will use them again in the future.

They do a really good job and they are very responsive. You could trust the man who comes out to the job for us. He is very cheerful and he shows up on time. He takes care of all of our needs. He comes basically within a day. I have been using them for about five years. I like their quality and professionalism. I like their knowledge. I can’t say good things about the person who comes out. He is clean and professional. The chemicals that they use are safe for our pets. He comes in even when we are not here and does his job.

We are on a quarterly service and so we spend about a $120 a quarter. They’ve been great. They are good. I would use their services again in the future.

They were wonderful plus its eco safe. We have 5 animals so we need that protection against them and me because I have allergies too. I would recommend them to anybody because they are really great.

Eco-Safe has always been punctual and the gentleman who performs the service is very polite. I understand that in this economic climate everyone wants to maintain their clients; however Eco-Safe has forever lost two clients and how every many more I can tell not to use them. In June I was called to be remind it was time for my quarterly inspection. I politely informaed the lady that I was not in Dallas, but had temporarily moved back to my parents to help my mom take care of my terminally ill father and I would call her when i was able. Please do not call me back. I received phone calls every single month from this person, while my daddy was in the hospital and in hospice - each and every time I asked her not to call me again. The last straw was her calling me the day of daddy's funeral! This person is completely heartless and insensitive! You maybe an eco friendly company, but your employees are not people sensitive!

In the beginning I thought they were very nice and professional. I spent around $300 for the initial exclusion and then around a $40 per month charge for them to check and refill my poison bait boxes. But I kept having problems with rats getting into the attic. They were unable to identify how rats were coming in and I don't think the house was ever properly sealed (I have since hired a wildlife trapping service that was able to accurately identify how the rats were coming into the home and stop them without putting poison in my yard with my dogs). After more than a year after the 'exclusion' and poison bait boxes I still had rats periodically in my attic. On one occasion, one of the technicians stepped on a unfinished portion of my attic and later I realized that there was a foot dent in my bedroom ceiling (of which they denied and told me they had no culpability). Later, my Saab dealer found rodents living and destroying my $35K vehicle. I finally called the company, cancelled my service and told them that I would be telling my story - it was only then that the owner suddenly felt compelled to see what he could do about making sure my rodent problem was taken care of. But by then I had lost complete faith in these people. Do yourself a favor - do not hire an exterminator / pest control service that is incentivized to not help you get rid of your rodent problem - they want to get a residual monthly fee for the bait boxes and are not properly trained in how to deal with rodents!

They have always done great. They make additional trips at no charge if any pests appear in between quarterly visits.

They did a pretty good job, and I haven't seen any bugs. It was kind of costly.

We have a pier and beam home. They came a few days after we had a lot of rain and the man was not able to complete the termite inspection because there was water in the front of the house and the crawlspace. He felt that the rats could be coming through the attic. They originally came in October. In December I saw a possum in the crawlspace and I could hear rats. He did come back and complete the job. He saw there was an area by the bay window that didn't have any mesh, which he would have seen had he been able to complete the inspection in October. He was cautious when it was wet because there are electrical lines below. That met a return visit and it cost me an extra $50. The job wasn't complete, but it wasn't totally his fault. He was going to charge me $100 for the second visit, but did lower the price to $50 because he probably realized I would complain because the job was completed originally. He worked long at it and covered the open area under the bay window that had allowed the animals to come in. Now we are waiting to see if that is going to work. In general we were pleased with him, but not pleased that we had to pay extra. The original price was reasonable. We are still hearing noises and I heard something gnawing, so I’m not sure it is fixed.

I found a highway of ants going from the front lawn, across the porch and into the house. None of the ant traps I bought worked, so I called Eco-Dallas. They were able to have my appointment within two days of when I called them. Chris showed up on time and treated the ant highway first, then the inside and outside of the house. He answered all of my questions and was very professional and thorough. He said to give the treatment about 2 weeks to work, and if I still had problems to call them. I have had no further ant problems at all.

The technician showed up promptly at the designated time and was done in about 20 minutes. I asked a lot of questions afterwards so the total visit was a bit longer, but he was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The tenants and their dog had to be gone for a few hours while the application he put on the floors dried. I haven't heard any complaints from the tenants so I gather the treatment was effective.

I called them to come out and look for termites. He was not able to find any termites while he was out. He told us that it was another pest causing the problems. I was uncomfortable with his assessment so I called another company to come out and the second company found termites right away. He did spray for ants, spiders and roaches while he was out. The company was responsive to me.

It was all good and I have not had any problems since.

They charge me for the first visit, then if they come back out because I am not satisfied with the first service then they do not charge me. I think they do pretty good and quality work, I am just not sure about the effectiveness of it. I think the price is good too, and since I have pets I like that they use eco-friendly pesticides that won't harm them or the environment. They also show up quite quickly.

Rick came in to quote the job. He was timely, friendly, professional, and informative. I showed him the two main areas of infestation. I also showed him an additional area I thought had termite problems and he said that it wasn't termites, even though he could have gone along and done extra work. A few days later he came back as appointed, drilled the holes and inserted the chemicals, and fixed the holes so they were barely noticeable. Haven't seen any bugs or new damage yet, but it's only been a short while. Time will tell.
