I had a great experience with this company. From our initial phone call to text updates and interactions with technicians, I can't say enough about how professional everyone was. The new HVAC works wonderfully.

man these guys are beyond great. Last year I had my AC go out 5 time, called atleast 10 companies, and everytime someone fixed it and a week later it would leak again. These guys didn't give up till the problem was solved and didn't charge me extra and was affordable, and this summer I feel like I'm living in heaven. and Thanks guys

They really did a great job. Steve told me I would not be disappointed if picked for the job and he was right. I interviewed over a dozen other contractors and he was the only one who did an accurate load calculation and was willing to do the needed leg work of almost a complete rebuild of the upstairs ductwork. Very helpful answering questions leading up to the install. Great follow-up, looking forward to their maintenance service.

we had a few glitches at the start but Steve personally came out the minute he realized my problem was not normal and fixed late on a friday night after I told him he could wait due to the late hour. He couldn't let it rest and still came out and fixed. Incredibly knowledgeable, kind, courteous, clean and neat and got the job done. this kind of service is becoming a thing of the past...but it still lives at Dunrite. !!

Very well. The technicians repaired the defective unit and were gone in 30 minutes. Will call them shortly for semi annual check up.

The tech that services our units is punctual and seems to be very knowledgeable. They gave us an estimate on installing a new air handler that was a bit higher than others, but they seem to be in the ballpark with pricing.

Their servicing guy seems fairly knowledgeable and is on time, when he comes for servicing. When he cleaned out our a/c drains, because the plumbing was installed incorrectly, there was black gunk blown out the kitchen sink drain and it got all over the walls. Due to evidence in the kitchen, I have a hard time believing he did not see it and tell me about it, but he says he did not see it. Luckily, it all cleaned up just fine. For the most part, these guys do a really good job and they seem to be at the average price point. I will continue to use them for our a/c servicing needs.

The pricing was slightly less than the pricing we received from two other contractors. Additionally, Dunrite made extra efforts to ensure we could finance the system at the best rate we could for the amount we needed. This new system was very important to us because the system that came with our house stopped working years ago and we haven't been able to afford a new system. We had been using window air conditioners in our house but the air quality in our house has been bad and it was starting to affect the health of my daughters. Dunrite came through for us in every way. Installation day went very smooth and they delivered on everything we request. The install was high quality and the staff was nice and approachable. They were referred by a friend to me and they did everything they said they would do. They came on time and they were very prompt. I highly recommend them to anyone. Their price was very good. I got a free service in the summer because i am a member.

They were late arriving, but easy enough to understand how that can happen and called as requested when they were on the way. Marty and his apprentice were pleasant and professional and even though it was at the end of the day, they were not harried or rushed and took the time to do things correctly and make sure all issues were addressed. Based on other potential work, the owner Steve called me on 7/3 to discuss options and what I should do short-term and longer-term to Will definitely use them again.

I had a quote from another company. I called Dunrite to see if they could match it because I had heard they were good. They did and did the work right away.

They did an excellent job removing our old unit and installing the new one. Dunrite HVAC is a family owned and run business with integrity, which is hard to find these days. We found them to be reasonably priced, but most of all dependable. We highly recommend Dunrite HVAC and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

The repairman came on a Sunday on time. Followed the problem and fixed it in ten minutes. We were very pleased.

On Monday morning, I noticed our A/C unit making a strange sound. Since we have a homeowner's warranty, I contacted them for a service call. A technician was sent from Rowlett to our home in McKinney and he discovered the compressor was dead with no hope of resurrection. A new compressor would be covered by the warranty company, however we'd still need to pay over $1,000 for the freon that wasn't covered. Since the unit was over 10 years old and couldn't heat or cool our house comfortably, we weren't interested in spending that much on an inefficient system. I asked the technician for a quote and he recommended a much, much larger unit and gave me a price that included the attic unit as well. After contacting the warranty company and cashing out, I gathered quotes from two other companies. The first company was located in one of the mid-cities and had a very satisfactory rating on Angies List, with reviews in the hundreds. The salesman came out and explained the different size units they could sell us and their prices. His prices included a new compressor and inside unit. Nice guy. But how on earth was I to know which unit was right? The next company I contacted was Dunrite. Their salesman came out and asked questions about what was wrong with our current system. He then checked the compressor and confirmed it was DOA, rather than taking the original technician's word for it. His next question was if I had a "heat load test" run. A WHAT? Nope, the other guys didn't do that! So he crawled up in the attic, checked out our duct-work and insulation, walked around outside the house, measuring windows, etc and came back with a recommendation of a specific unit based on the needs of our house. Included in his quote was new ductwork. And the price was substantially the same as the other, bigger company. That evening, we contacted my brother-in-law who owns a plumbing/HVAC wholesale company in another part of the country for some unbiased advice. His first question was did anyone perform a heat load calculation. Dunrite did! He asked a few other pertinent questions and in each case, Dunrite had solved it appropriately. The choice was simple: Dunrite. That Friday, with temps climbing into the 90's the crew came and installed our new unit and replaced all of the ductwork in the house. By evening, we had cool air once again. All summer long our new unit provided us with cool comfort. The programmable thermostat allowed us to better control temps. This past winter we noticed the house more evenly heated too. In the year since the new install we've had no problems at all, and I would certainly choose Dunrite again and recommend them to friends and family.

Very professional guys. Worked very hard for 6 hours to get it right.

Purchased maintenance agreement that is supposed to put me ahead of others. I knew it was higher than others, but I felt like they would do a good job. It took two days to get them out here and was charged a 95 trip charge. They explained that it was because of the rain and they have a lot of people on the maintenance agreement.. The other person I spoke with said they would of gotten to my home despite the rain, because it was not all day. Dunrite said it was a 95 nonrefundable trip charge. I was told that this was in the contract. Repair did not reduce trip charge. Over priced Maintenance agreement worthless. They repaired AC with one part for a covered AC from manufacture. Had them remove part and cancelled service. Called the othr very nice AC repair person from Angies list with over 200 good ratings. They do not charge a trip charge and maintenance agreement was much better. I believe they have good quality, lack communication and have high prices.

I have used Dunrite HVAC Services for all my heating and air conditioning needs for over fifteen years. They have installed and replaced roof mounted heat pumps, air conditioning units, and furnaces in both my personal residence and in rental properties I have owned. In every case the company has been completely honest, knowledgeable about their products, and very responsive to emergency repair needs. The recent furnace installation performed by Dunrite HVAC Services was consistent with other work this company has done for me in the past. They were on-time, their installation was expertly done, and their prices were fair. I would recommend this company to anyone!
