DT's Quick Move

Worst movers EVER !!! I hired United Van Lines for my move. They gave me some BS line about being overbooked so the sub-contracted the job to DT’s (apparently UVL’s contract allows them to do this). I have a 4000 sq. ft. home with a full machine shop in the garage. DT’s sent two (totally untrained) guys with a truck and a trailer. They didn’t have enough boxes and had to make three trips to UHaul to buy more. On top of that, they did not label anything, nor did they have any inventory tags to catalog the boxes they packed. They also did not use ANY packaging materials — they just threw stuff in boxes and taped them shut. The (literally) crammed everything into their trailer and took off down the road. When they delivered my belongings to my new home, it was utter destruction: Boxes were lost/missing, belongings were destroyed, 6 months later I am STILL realizing more and more missing/lost/stolen? items that I’ll never see again. I tried to file for compensation from their insurer, but they refused to cover anything that I could not produce an original receipt for (who keeps receipts for clothing, furniture, possessions that you’ve had for years ?!?). Again, this was a total ripoff and I am sure I will regret it for years. When these idiots showed up at my door I should have said, “H*** NO”! My life would have been so much better if I had never used DT’s Quick Move !

They showed up a half a day late and worked about 4 hours. They then went to another job for a day and then came back. They worked continuously until they got us moved. They did not properly label the boxes. Being able to find something was impossible. It was a giant Easter egg hunt for about 10 days.
