Description of Work: The provider did nothing. I setup an appointment with them back in February. They stated then that they could not get to me until today, 3/27/2015. This is more than a month later. I setup an appoint at that time for 1:00 pm today. I took leave from work to accommodate their schedule. I let my work know a month ago so that they may plan. The provider did not show up and did not call. In this digital age it seems that there is no reason that you can't communicate. You could send a text message saying, "no" or "I'm out" for example. When I called them they did not have a record of my appointment. It was the same gentleman, Jerald Hopkins, I made the appointment with on the phone originally. He did not apologize. He simply asked if I would like to have them install next week. I told him I took leave from work and he stated that I would have to use the same time next week after I told him I would be unable to take the leave from work again. I find this to be very unprofessional and disrespectful of others time. I know I take my profession more serious than that and if I failed to live up to my responsibilities I would do whatever it takes to make up for it.

Description of Work: Installed an alarm system using existing sensors including standard stuff (keypads, main console, etc)

Description of Work: Initially, I purchased a "SAMSUNG" security system from Fry's Electronics, Garland, Texas. It was a "complete unit" and cost around $850.00. I wanted a "professional" system (not a JUNK system) since I had something stolen from my front yard that I owned for approximately 18 years. Mr. Hopkins HIGHLY RECOMMENDS you contact him first PRIOR to buying a CCTV system since some of the units that you can purchase these days are not a complete unit. Mr. Hopkins was extremely impressed with the system that I purchased from Fry's Electronics, Garland, Texas. Jerald Hopkins, Digital Security Systems, installed my SAMSUNG CCTV system with four outdoor cameras (2 for the front yard, 2 in the back), and 1 DVR/Monitor at my home in Rockwall, Texas. I thought that he was extremely professional. He is also very knowledgeable regarding the installation of such units and how to operate them. Most of his work is currently commercial; however, he does do work for homeowners. He does: Alarm Systems; Cameras and Recorders (DVR); and Access Control. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jerald Hopkins, Digital Control Systems for any work that you may have!
