Daryl Howard - Master Electrician Inc

Daryl Howard promptly returned a voice message for assistance and we set up an appointment for the next week. The morning of the appointment, Mr. Howard called to confirm and later called to report workers had been delayed by an emergency situation. Even though delayed, Justin and Jason were only a couple of hours late. Upon arrival, the men quickly identified what needed to be done and went right to work. Each man took a room and started working with little conversation between them at all, only requesting parts or tools from one another as needed. Mr. Howard predicted the job to take 4 hours, and 5 hours after they started the job was done, including a 45 minute trip to buy parts I'd missed. It was obvious these guys knew what they were doing and they took care to re-wire incorrectly wired outlets as they were found. They installed rocker switches with screwless face plates which look wonderful, fresh and clean. The task lighting in the kitchen is awesome! Very nice young men, very respectful and polite. The job may have been a tiny bit pricey, but I don't mind paying a little extra for expertly done electrical work. Overall, I'm very pleased with the job done by Daryl Howard Electrical. I won't hesitate to use them again to give them a hearty recommendation to anyone requiring electrical work.

The installation went very well. This is the second time Daryl Howard has installed light fixtures at my house and I am so impressed with his knowledge and his work. Mr. Howard is very professional: he called me before he headed out to my house to let me know he was on the way; he arrived on time; completed the work in a timely manner; cleaned up the work area. Mr. Howard is a great electrician and businessman.

Daryl was great. He was on time and finished the job around the same time he quoted initially. He was very professional and was a nice guy. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect. He cleaned up aftewards as well. I would use hime again without any hesitation.

Daryl is very professional and very prompt. He is great at his work and explains what the problem was in a way that non electricians can easily understand. I always have used Daryl Howard and I use no one else. A big A+ for Daryl being animal friendly and being very considerate of my animals.

Called Daryl and scheduled an appt. about a week and a half out to have him take a look at a newly installed porch light that was continually tripping a breaker. I couldn't solve problem myself and needed his expertise. He was able to test the switch, circuit, and light. The issue actually boiled down to the new light fixture itself, which I subsequently replaced and it is now working correctly, so his troubleshooting skills were spot on. While he was there, I had him take a look at a light in my den that has three switches. I explained that ever since I have owned the house, one of the switches has to be in the "down" position, or the other two switches don't work. I thought it was one of the switches, but wasn't sure which one, since two of them are 3-way switches, and one of them is a 4-way switch. After he troubleshot the issue, he was able to narrow it down to the 4-way switch, which was not the switch that had to be in the "down" position. I subsequently replaced that switch, and the problem is now resolved. Once again, he was right-on when it came to the actual trouble. I will always use Daryl for any electrical needs that I can't handle myself as his skills are worth every cent he charges.

Daryl was very professional. He returned my call quickly and came to give an estimate within 24 hours. He charged by the hour (rather than by the job, as another company quoted me) and his price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend his services.

This evaluation is about three year old! I just plain forgot. Howard, Jason, and Justin were very pleasant and professional. The job took five days to complete. In considering the time and extent of the job, it was billed correctly. I would definitely hire him again!

This is our second experience with Daryl Howard, and we have been thoroughly satisfied both times. He promptly returned my call when I left a message and arranged to make a service call within two days. He called about an hour before he arrived and then arrived exactly on time. He diagnosed the problem, removed out old fan and installed a new one. Daryl is very cordial, professional and knowledgeable about his craft. I will definitely use him for all future projects involving electrical work.

Howard was very professional and his expertise help guide us through the remodel of our showroom and offices. He always provided proposals for everything we asked for even when we changed directions mid-stream. He and his workers were very clean and tried very hard not to interfere with our employees doing their work. I would highly recommend Daryl and would use him again for future electrical projects.

The work was completed on two consecutive Friday's. Daryl had to fit me in to his busy schedule in order do the work at the end of April instead of later in May. They cleaned up after themselves. I've been very pleased with the work. He wasn't the least expensive of the 4 estimate I got. I'm not sure what it was that led me to hire him. I did miss that one item I wanted that wasn't in the estimate. I have a pull string light in my garage and wanted a switch at the service door. I missed it so I can't really blame Daryl.

Daryl was very professional,he arrived on time, answered all my questions. I was concerned about the price differences from the quotes I had received from $1100 to $ 2600 and told him what I was interested in was value not just price and a quote that had all the info on it. From type of material and brand , aprox time it would take and what it would take to bring the project up to code. Daryl was the only contractor that took time, answered my questions and concerns and put them on the quote with a price of $1375.00 that I felt was a good value. On 05/06/2013 Daryl arrived on time introduced me to Justin and Jason who were the electricians that would do the work.They were excellent, professional,explained to me what, why and how they were doing and how they brought it all up to code.Watching them work gave me confidence in their skills and that I was getting a job well done. Services provided met expectation.

Daryl was easy to schedule and he showed up when he said he would. He reviewed why we were having the problem and took care of the wiring. We reviewed a couple of future projects with him.

Mr. Howard came to the appointment on-time and presented as a nice man who seemed knowledgeable about his business. He seemed to understand our needs and said he should have no problem creating a system and installing it by our move in on 4/15/13. He was to get back with us regarding his estimate for these services, but never did. I called him twice to follow up, but he has never responded. I mean if you can't do it or might be delayed in doing it, just let us know, and we'd have no problem. I guess he didn't want the work, but it's still pretty unprofessional and discourteous to just leave us hanging . As a result, we got another electrician out to give us an estimate yesterday, and we will be going with them.

I was having problems with a circuit breaker going on and off. I called Daryl and another company, but only Daryl called me back, even though it was after normal business hours. He was able to come out the next day. He showed up 20 minutes late, but he called me to let me know, so it didn't bother me. He was friendly and professional, and he found the problem (a loose wire in the circuit box) fairly quickly. He's a really nice guy who did a great job.

Daryl was at my house right on time. He was very pleasant, and went straight to work. He did a perfect job of installing the lights - it's so nice to have light at night again!

Look no further for an electrician. He was punctual, precise, honestly priced, and pleasant on top. He seems very knowledgeable and I feel confident in recommending him. Our experience was great and I will certainly call on him again should the need arise. Two thumbs up.

My dryer quit working and I had ripped apart my dryer just to find out that it was the 240 V outlet that was not working. I called several companies, Daryl was the only one that responded in a timely manner and made an effort to fit me in as soon as possible. Justin and Jason came out to repair my outlet and offer a quote on upgrading my electrical service to a 200 amp panel. They fixed my outlet in about 20 minutes, and even put my dryer back together for me, though it was not at all their obligation. I cannot recommend Daryl Howard and his team highly enough. They were friendly, knowledgable, and I didn't feel at all like they were trying to sell me anything I didn't need when preparing my quote for future services I had requested. I have an older house and will likely need a fair amount of electrical work over the next couple years. I absolutely plan on using Daryl and his team for all of it. This was the first time using Angie's List and it was well worth it. I had two highly rated individuals on Angie's List come out to bid on the scope of the project. I was immediately impressed with Daryl's knowledge and professionalism. He showed up when he said he would and I never felt like he was trying to sell me more than I needed. He told me the most cost effective way to upgrade my service and bring my electrical up to code without spending money on unnecessary extra work. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know and will be using him for all of my electrical needs in the future.

The two electricians who came to do my work, were excellent. They worked fast and did a GREAT job, I am very pleased and will certainly use Daryl Howard again. The price was more than fair and the quality of work was superb.
