+ -1 moreWe needed a shower head swapped from one bathroom to another and scheduled the work for the next day. We got call at 9:23am where they said we were next on the list. Then we got a call at 11:40am to say the plumber was on his way. At 12:25 we got a call from the plumber saying he'd be there in about 30 minutes. He spent about 15 minutes here to swap out the shower head. They charged a flat rate which we were not informed about until the plumber got here - it was $242. If we refused the work they would charge $131 for the trip charge. Again this was not communicated at the appointment scheduling. The plumber said that the company had been sold about 1 year ago and this is what it was now. We had used Dallas Plumbing for over 30 years; not anymore. The customer service is gone and they don't have any concept of small job pricing.

+ -1 moreOn 2/20/21 a plumber from Dallas Plumbing replaced a faulty dishwasher line cap with a Pro-Press Coupling. On the first day of the most recent freeze, this new cap blew off while we were out of town, flooding our house. We have quite a bit of water damage. I never would have guessed it was this cap AGAIN. This is very poor workmanship!

+ -1 moreGreat! First service call was for the air conditioning. We normally needed coolant each year. Coolant was put in and connections tightened. No coolant was required after a year of use. Still cooling great with the summer heat. Will recommend to everybody.

+ -1 morecalled their emergency number during the holidays, after hours. their phone service seems pretty professional as it gets you to an operator that helps get the information for the service. the operator contacted the on call service tech and he called within 30 min. Came right out to our house and helped us with our sewer stoppage issue. Wade was super nice very professional. Since it was during the holidays after hours, we felt pretty bad but he was really nice and made the whole process really easy.

Blake and his assistant came in and went right to work and finished quickly and did a good quality job. I could not be more pleased with Dallas plumbing company. I highly recommend them from this job and I will absolutely be calling them if I need plumbing help in the future. It was refreshing to have quality work done with no hassles at a reasonable price.

Austin was very pleasant and explained the pricing for an overtime call that evening versus regular time the next day. Based on the pricing, I had him come out Saturday morning. Austin contacted me prior to coming, arrived in the window that he had given me the day before and took care of the clog. Pricing was higher than what I was hoping for but this was a time sensitive problem.
Description of Work: We had a clogged drain and water was backing up into the house.

+ -1 moreI had to use them for my mother-in- law on the weekend the unit was out. They were prompt, but they were expensive because it was a service call on the weekend. It's really high for changing out a capacitor on a Sunday, but still. I would consider it, but I would try to find somebody else. She's 86 years old, so I didn't have a choice.

+ 0 moreAngie's list indicates that this company provides "free estimates". The first time I called, someone picked up the phone, said nothing, then hung up. I called back, this time sounded like the boss answered, who passed me to someone in "service" who started to quote me $90 for the first 30 minutes, etc... I stated that Angie's List says you give "free estimates" - that is what I wanted, an estimate on what needs to be done. I was passed at a third person in "estimating" who wasn't available. I don't need someone in estimating to attempt to quote me on the phone, I need someone to come take a look at it.

He was able to find and clear all the little pieces of a shutoff valve washer that had broken up in the process. Everything working fine now, and the work was completed in a short amount of time. Technician was friendly and professional.
