Description of Work: I reached out to crown after being less than impressed with other companies I researched or talked to about my home audio/video needs. Crown guys were prompt in response time and seemed to appreciate what I was looking for versus trying to sell me something I didn't want. We went thru a view different iterations of proposals before we finally had something equipment wise that would make most sense for my needs. The crown guys were overall pleasant to deal with and generally pleased with my purchase. Only tip for others is to know how Crown charges for Labor. Their labor charge "start when the techs start loading up the vans. " So if you are in an outer suburb, watch out or negotiate. Additionally, they "do not charge in time increments of 15 minutes; only in hour-long segments". I did not know this until after the install was complete, perhaps my fault for not specifically asking when i generally asked about how Labor charged. Just something to keep in mind as their proposal only really specifies that Labor will be billed based on actual hours. It doesnt say whe clock starts/stops.

Description of Work: Updated and installed new 90 inch Sharp LED 240 megahertz 3D television in home theatre with upgrade to latest state of the art AV receiver and 3D blue ray player. The television itself is usually at least $10,000. Very satisfied with professionalism of sales staff, quality of installed products and professionalism of the installation crew. Would highly recommend their company.

+ 1 morePros: - Arrived on time for estimate and work to be done - Spent a lot of time scoping out the work and explaining capabilities of our current system and future system (as well as work we weren't going to do right away, but later) - Quickly received initial quote and revised quotes - Removed shoes when working on a carpeted area - Came back out when we had questions about the remote - Installation is clean and wires hidden nicely - All equipment working properly - Good prices on new TV and Sonos system Cons: - Some damage to molding on door way (d/t the media cabinet not fitting through the doorway) and they had to remove a shelf, although they did try to fix the doorway molding we will need to pay a painter come and fix the molding and the walls where the shelf was removed. - All removed equipment and wires were in a messy pile with small pieces of wire that needed to be cleaned up and the shelf removed not hauled away (will need to find a dumpster to dispose). Overall, wonderful experience and will use again when we fully automate our home and for future upgrades.
Description of Work: 1. Added rollable media cabinet to an existing closet 2. Upgraded living room TV and moved existing tv to the master bedroom (both wall mounted) 3. Added Sonos music to current home theater system 4. Turned a wall cable into a network cable to hardwire internet connection so that streaming would not be wireless 5. Upgraded current component wiring to HDMI 6. Reconfigured Universal Remote for new components and made easier to use 7. Replaced all IR sensors on equipment 8. Sent old speaker in for warranty work 9. Took pictures of our old high end DVD player to see if any interested buyers as a courtesy
