Description of Work: Replaced water heater. I was very unhappy with the first person who came to my house. He said he fixed it and left. As soon as he walked out of my house, I tried the water and it still wasn't getting hot. I ran outside as he was still sitting in the truck and told him the water was still cold. He basically said it would take time for the water to get warm again and drove off before I could talk to him about it more. I paid over $100 for a 10 minute service call and he didn't fix it. So I had to call the company and get someone else out. That guy was much better. Turns out I needed a new water heater. He credited me the original $100 service call fee towards the purchase of the new water heater.

Description of Work: Replaced old water heater with a tankless unit and updated the gas line in the crawl space. All parts of the installation went very well and would use this provider in the future.

Description of Work: They dug up the old gas line that was not up to code. Replaced with the appropriate materials the connected my natural gas grill. They also cut the post and removed the old gas grill.

Description of Work: They fixed a toilet that kept running and changed out a faucet. Very reasonable compared to other plumbers I have used. They cleaned up all the mess and were here when they said.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink was clogged and I didn't feel like I could handle it myself after trying a few simple things. I was very pleased at how how quickly I was able to schedule an appt. as well as how quickly the work was done. Also pleased that no mess was incurred by the workers! I'm giving them a B grade on price and I realize that may not be fair since I don't know what other plumbers would charge. Plus I did get a 10% discount off their flat rate of $175. So, maybe I'm behind the times on pricing. Overall, I was very happy and would definitely recommend Cody & Sons Plumbing.

Description of Work: They were able to explain the reason our master toilet would continually clog. When we had the house leveled it caused the pitch in the pipes to change enough to not allow sufficient drainage.

Description of Work: repaired pipe under toilet..toilet was already taken off and the old pipe was easy to get off and new pipe costs 10.00. Had another repair person tell us we got robbed. Also the job was not done ..there was to be another cost of app. $200 to come back after repair to floor was complete. All in a price of $900.00 for something that should have been half the price. And there were 2 workers and a couple of hrs that should have been one worker 1 or one and half at most according to another repair person.

Fixed efficiently. 2nd time I called - not 2 months later - was for a "dead" disposal (not making a sound) and I did not ask for an estimate. When I called to make an appointment, the dispatcher told me they usually recommend/install the "Badger" which I could pick up at Home Depot. | |The plumber came to the door in sloppy clothes with no uniform or business card. |His first comment was that he wanted to be sure that I understood that the cost to install the disposal would be $250 - with a Senior discount of $25 - - so $225. |I checked Google for pricing in this area to install a diposal. Low = $135. High = $175. Called the office, told them my issue, and asked for a call back. In a few minutes, the surly plumber came and told me his boss had called him and said "since the line was not clogged, he could do it for $175". How wonderful! NO. I think the first price was a clear rip-off for a simple job (maybe because they decided we were old and stupid) and I would never use them again.
