Scott Christopher of Christopher's Custom Pool Service was contracted to repair non-working LED pool lights. They agreed to perform the repair June 1, 2015 shortly after performing diagnosis and forwarding a bid. They performed light replacement mid-August of 2015. The lights rotated colors and would not sync with each other. Between early September 2015 and early February 2016, Scott Christopher made multiple trips to repair the lights he had installed. Mr. Christopher told me he had been in contact with the manufacturer's representative several times and they were trying to figure out the problem. We were not charged for the many repair visits because the lights never correctly worked since installation and are covered under warranty. Mr. Christopher told me the manufacturer committed to replacing all the lights. In a February 3, 2016 text sent at 11:42am, Mr. Christopher wrote "I cal [sic] Randy and see where are on finishing your lights." The light replacement was promised "soon" each week through February, March and April. In a text on May 5, 2016 at 7:54pm, Mr. Christopher wrote "I will stay on until it is resolved." On May 9, 2016 Mr. Christopher committed to having all our lights replaced and working properly no later than the following week (week of May 16, 2016). No one called, emailed or showed up for light repair. I was told on May 13, 2016 that the lights were ordered, being shipped and should be installed the following week. I have called repeatedly between May 23 through June 10, 2016 questioning schedule for light repair. Each time I was told again it would be completed "as soon as the lights come in". Between June 14 and June 22nd, I have left three voice mails and sent one email to Mr. Christopher. He has not returned any call or email nor visited our house with an explanation in the last two weeks. It has been over 14 months since we first started dealing with Mr. Christopher requesting light repair. It has been over ten months since installation without properly working lights. Right now, it looks like we have wasted $3,094.69 and over a year of pool aesthetics. Mr. Christopher has performed good pool maintenance service when he personnaly shows up. In my opinion, Mr. Christopher is very unreliable and does not stand behind his word. I cannot recommend him based on complete lack of trust, not technical competency.
