Edgar was very knowledgeable and followed up fairly promptly. The guys came when expected and completed the job very quickly and effectively. I highly recommend this group and will use them again for tree trimming.

Chippers was the only company that replied to my email request when searching for a tree service company. I was able to send photos and receive a very reasonable quote for removing 2 trees and 1 stump grind. The crew showed up when scheduled, very professional. They kept the job site clean as they worked which I know my neighbors appreciated that! I am going to hire this company again to come out and canopy a few more trees.

We have been using Chippers for years, and their service is always great. We use them a couple of times a year to trim up a row of Yaupons, and have used them for larger trimming jobs on an as needed basis. Their trimmers are always friendly, helpful, and leave the yard in perfect shape. I would definitely recommend them!

The tree work was very professionally performed. A 5-man crew arrived when they said they would. They did the work in about exactly the amount of time estimated. The yard was cleaned up so well it looked better when they left than when they arrived. The foreman of the crew would not take my check until he was sure I was happy with the work. Very professional company.

Chippers was very professional. They arrived the day they stated to do the quote and they were very courteous. On service day they again arrived exactly when they said they would. They trimmed two very overgrown trees and cleaned up stumps left by another tree company. They cleaned up everything (even dead leaves that were on the ground previous to their visit). I was very impressed and very happy with the work they did!!

I initially contacted Chippers based on their Angie's List ratings, and all the wonderful things that others have said about them are absolutely true. They have an online contact form on their website (which I used because it was after their office hours) and described the work I wanted done. Edgar replied via email the next morning and asked about the size of the stumps. I measured and sent him the measurements. He replied with an estimate, I approved it and we set an appointment time for the work. Easy as that! The crew was on-time, courteous and professional. These guys know their business, have the right equipment and expertise for the job. It only took about thirty minutes to grind all 8 stumps that I had gotten the estimate for. In addition, they found another ground level stump that I had missed and ground it, without charging me a penny above the estimate. The work was done at a new house I have just purchased in a very wooded area. After using Chippers for this job, I see no reason to look for any other tree service for future work. In a nutshell, these guys are the best!

Joel came out to give us an estimate on a Saturday,as requested, when my husband was home. They were accommodating with the date and time for the tree removal service. They were friendly, punctual, professional and wonderful about clean up. I highly recommend their services.

I got a free estimate on May 21; Edgar was very prompt. ( I had used the company a year ago to have all of the backyard cleared of shrubs and some tree pruning done). I accepted the estimate and the job was scheduled for June 2, 2014 for between 1p.m. and 4p.m. A crew of 4 arrived before 3p.m. They asked me to point out where all of the work was supposed to be done and went to work. I was very pleased with the results and will use them, again.

Three very large dying trees had to go. Chippers arrived on time with a large crew, trucks, and equipment. They got all the work done in one day, including grinding out the stumps. Workers were all polite and very hard working. Yard was left in immaculate shape with just some sawdust left where the stumps were. In addition to the good work they were the lowest bid---can't beat that. My wife gave the guys a nice tip and they did a little extra trimming on some bushes. Outstanding experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

This was my first time to use Chippers. I called for an estimate and they sent someone out the same day. Joel Sellas did our estimate and he was very thorough and happy to answer any questions. They were able to come out 2 days after I called to book. The team arrived early, was very friendly, and left our yard looking better than when they started. Our trees look great and I plan to use Chippers in the future.

They did an excellent job trimming the trees back from the roof. They were professional, on-time and cleaned up. After they were finished you would never have known any work was done except for how good the trees looked.

This is my second time using Chippers and just like last time I have zero complaints. The crew did a superb job, did it two hours less than what was quoted, and cleaned up after themselves so it looked very professionally done. I had one large tree so dense that our grass wasn't growing due to the immense shade, Chippers trimmed and thinned out the tree, raised the canopy so not only does it look nice now that the sun shines through it, it actually looks much taller now too.

The owner Romero was on site for the entire job working to make sure the job was done correctly. Romero, Edgar, and his crew of approximately six workers total arrived exactly on time as promised. They came out on a Sunday to complete the job after giving a very reasonable free estimate just a few days prior. They were extremely professional in removing a large Arizona Ash tree over 40 years old and close to 50 feet tall that had power lines immediately on either side of the tree. It was a tough job for them to avoid the delicate power lines, and they did so expertly without damaging any power lines and telephone lines. They removed the tree within a few hours and completely ground the stump afterwards. The cleanup crew was impressive and I feel they went above and beyond. They were very ethical, polite, knowledgeable, and overall excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will be using them again in the future. Thank you, Linda

I hired Chippers to grind 2 tree stumps. Edgar Argueta called me and had me send him pictures of the stumps. He called me the next day with an estimate, which was very reasonable considering I needed them to grind 20 inches instead of just the usual 13-16 inches. Not many companies have this capablity but Chippers does. Today they arrived in window of time they said they would be here. It took an hour and a half to grind them both and haul the mulch/chips to the truck and left some for me per my request just where I wanted it. The crew was friendly and worked well together. I felt sorry for them cause the rain really picked up the last 10 minutes of the job. They were drenched!!

They were great. They arrived at the time they said they would and went right to work. It all went faster than I thought it would. They removed the tree and took it all out to a chipper in the alley. The tree they shaped up turned out great and I really had my doubts that anyone could get it to look so good. When they were done they removed all limbs and as much of the sawdust and wood chips as they could. They smoothed over the spot where the tree was so you can hardly tell it was ever there. I was concerned that some damage might occur to the house of the new fence. But nothing was damaged in the least. Overall I could not be happier.

The service was exceptional. Chippers trimmed 4 large trees in my front yard and 3 large trees in my side yard and they did it all for the same price as what others wanted just to trim the 4 trees out front. They cleaned up after they were done and hauled away all of the debris. They were very professional from beginning to end and would highly recommend them to others.

Everything went great. Of the 3 quotes I got, they were BY FAR the cheapest. Scheduled a week out or initial/quote, which was fine since I was in no hurry. They were on time, and finished all three huge trees in about an hour and a half. I asked them to trim two of the trees back a little farther, and they immediately did so. Will call them again if/when my trees need it.

Got the bid on a Thursday and the crew was out Saturday. One of the trees was 34 inches across at the base and 55 -60 ft high. The other similar but not quites as tall. The large tree was situated within 9 inches of my neighbor's fence and the other towered over my pool so I had concerns. The two gentlemen did an excellent job. Not a single limb touched the fence and nothing fell in the pool or onto the pool deck. They cleaned everything when they finished and if it weren't for the stumps, you wouldn't know there had been trees in those spots. I have found the Tree Service company I will be using from now on.

Absolutely fantastic! There was almost next to nothing of drywall dust to clean up. Mark was on time and very professional in understanding the work that needed to be done. He was very thorough in his work and one would not know we had any work done if they did not know about the cracks from before. Would most definitely recommend Mr. Handyman to anyone who asks and will use they again in the future.
