Description of Work: Casa Linda Fence has been putting fences since the 1960's in Dallas. The owner, Jerry Wolfe, is a current resident and the president of Casa Linda Estates, a neighborhood east of White Rock Lake. I did not hire Casa Linda Fence Co. to put up a fence; however, my property is right next to a fence he put up around July 2012 and then added to on April 1, 2013. I was and am quite shocked that he builds fences without getting the proper permit from the City of Dallas. In addition to not getting the permit first, he built a "country fence" that violated city code heights. The homeowners personally sawed off the posts of the fence due to the city code violation notice posted on their front door. Also, he seems to have no idea or taste on how to transition from a low fence to high fence. The now 4 ft. country fence is immediately juxtaposed to an 8 ft fence which happens to violate Casa Linda Deed height restrictions which all homeowners are required to sign when they buy a house in Casa Linda. Not long after, the neighbor was not happy for some reason, and Casa Linda Fence company had to go back and rework some of the fence. Then on April 1, 2013, I was startled at his workman who crossed over into my property to add on to the fence. I called Jerry Wolfe about it barely being able to explain to him what happened when he immediately began yelling at me. It's all very unprofessional and inconsiderate, and rude. If you want a company that does not care about city permiting and deed restrictions, cares little for how his fences affect the neighborhood value and/or aesthetic appeal, hire Casa Linda Fence Co ... the company that does a disservice to its own customers and neighbors. This is a company that should know better.

+ -1 moreThey worked out great and I am now going to have them put up the back of the fence and the other side as well. Everything was beautiful. The cost was kind of on the high side but it was done very good. It is going to be about $3500 to replace the other two sides, they told me. I have only used them and no one else for this kind of work. The fence lasted so long when they originally installed it, I just called them again rather than someone else. They have been in business for many years.
Description of Work: Castle replaced my cedar wooden stock aid fence. It was just one part of the fence that was between my house and my neighbors house.
