+ -1 moreDo NOT waste your money on this high end piece of outdoor equipment. You are better off buying a cheap one and replacing every couple of years. We paid about $2000 for this outdoor Lynx refrigerator from Capital Distributing and from the moment we plugged it in it would not cool and alarms continually went off preventing it from working. A repairman was sent out on three occasions and he told me the first time privately that it wasn't a good unit but we were stuck. We have been in contact with both VIking/Lynx and Capital for over a year and they have basically handed us off to one another & given us the run around until the warranty expired. We will never use this company again and we will make sure to let everyone know that Lynx/Viking and Capital do not stand behind their products.

+ -1 moreEverything was great. Thanks for the tip to contact Joyce Rambo she was great to work with. I needed to replace my current range, since the oven seemed to only work when it wanted to. After exhaustive research on which ranges to purchase, and who to purchase from, I decided on Capital Distributing and was so happy I did. Joyce was very responsive, easy to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. They have a beautiful showroom, where you can see all of the models. The staff is very professional and attentive. Installation was a breeze. They set an appointment for delivery and showed up on time. Everything was perfect.

I had already done my research on the products I wanted and Joyce was able to work with me to match prices from other retailers and was even able to find other price breaks to help me save money. I also had to have some minor warranty work on a couple of the appliances and she was able to schedule the service call. Everything is working perfectly and I could not be more satisfied with the services she provided.

Description of Work: I bought all new appliances through capital distributing: new doubleoven, cooktop, icemaker, wine cabinet, microwave. The first day we plugged in the icemaker it leaked and flooded the house causing $35,000 worth of damage. It was an install problem and not a problem with the machine. They did not Install the unit so they were of course not responsible for the damage. I wanted to exchange it for a beverage center. The first i heard that they accepted no returns was when I looked at the form that came with the delivery (this is illegal- business law requires you to disclose your sales terms at the time of sale. They took my credit card over the phone without telling me all sales were final.) The woman I spoke with was rude, not even pretending to be interested in hearing what I had to say cutting me off mid-sentence. The salesman Chris Winn was polite. The sales manager just outright told me he had heard the story but was not inclined to help. I was willing to pay a restocking fee. He only agreed to speak with his boss when I informed him that his return policy was not legal. In the end they offered me the honor of putting it in their clearance center on consignment if I paid a $1000 restocking fee and bought the beverage center from them. $1000 penalty for a one day old unit with warranty in tact.

Very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable sales rep. He even talked my installer through some arcane technical information right over the phone.

+ -1 moreUpon contact by Angie's list, they came out and checked the installation, which they insisted was okay. My bottom rack of the dishwasher still slides off the door. They said they would refund the installation fees on the cooktop but didn't until Angie's list contacted them, at least twice.
Description of Work: I purchased a cooktop, dishwasher, under-counter refrigerator and garage refrigerator. They delivered and installed, except for the cooktop which my contractor had picked up.
