We did not go with this company. While the price was great, the sales person that came to our home was not knowledgable on the product at all. He couldn't answer hardly any of our questions and continually said I will check on that. Their selection was very limited.

There were no additional charges. When the salesman came out, he had his samples. They had an ad in the paper. I asked the man where the carpet is. He said that if I really wanted to see it, he has some in his truck or car. He said that I wouldn't want to put it in my house because that's for cheap trailers. That bothered me. The house that I was trying to put the carpeting in was the house that we're putting on the market to sell. It's a two-story house and I found it extremely difficult to walk downstairs. I have a bad knee. They were supposed to move those beds out of those rooms that they were in and put the matresses and stuff back. When they finished, I paid them. It costed me almost $4000 for the carpet. I asked the guy if he did everything he was supposed to, he said yes. I paid them and they left. They didn't move the mattresses back in the rooms they were in and they didn't tack down the carpet on the stairs at the bottom. I called them again and one of the guys I thought as arrogant. They tacked down the carpet and before they left, I asked them if they got the mattresses back. They said yes. I went upstairs and they haven't moved the mattresses. I would not recommend them to anybody. I assumed that their price is okay. They did a nice job installing the carpet but I don't like people who do switch-and-bait on advertising. I would never called them again. I would never hire those people.

Run far, far away from these people. While I used the CC Carpet location on I35 N in San Antonio, I believe my experience would apply to the entire company. I say this because once I had problems, I dealt with Donna the manager at the corporate office. In my opinion, she was the most dishonest person I dealt with. We had carpet and flooring installed in our home. Keith from the San Antonio office was the primary salesman and scheduled the installation. Originally, we were happy with the installation and gave them the appropriate credit. Within about 3 weeks, one of the carpet seams separated badly. That is when our nightmare began. In short, it took 6 weeks of being told we would and quot;have to live with what we had. I don't do bad work.and quot;, broken assurances, no shows at our home and complete unprofessionalism for us to FINALLY get the seam repaired. It is my opinion that the only reason they got serious about repairing the seam was that I contested the charge with American Express. After it was repaired to our satisfaction, they replied to American Express with our original positive review of their work. They'll probably do the same in their reply here. It was my experience to be the way they do business if their customer has a problem. I have over a full page of the what I went through in Word. 'Feel free to contact me for a detailed description of my nightmare. We would have had them do more installs in our home. But after what we experienced, we had one of the big box stores do the carpet and flooring for the rest of our home. The price was cheaper, the service professional and the we have been nothing but happy with the product delivered. Even if we were the exception, do you want to take the chance that you could have a similar experience? I am guessing you work too hard for your money to take that chance.

Client Referral Bad Experience! I was not impressed with the carpet install. Freyed and improper cut of seams. Nicked up the wood trim in multiple rooms. I contacted the company to have someone come out to make corrections. CC Carpet sent out unprofessional carpet installers to repair. DAY LABORERS! One installer spoke broken english, so he only understood half of what I was saying. The other two looked like they were homeless and picked up from the corner for day labor. Pants falling down, holes in their shoes. It was bad! I have heard that they hire day labor, and I would agree, by the looks of the crew that showed up. One guy worked on repairs and the other two hung out by the truck outside. Job was not getting done, and so I contacted CC Carpet, they were of no help. As I was on the phone with the CC Carpet Rep, the guys took off. Worse and most unprofessional experience!! They never came back to correct the issue! Shotty job! That is just the beginning! The backsplash and granite in the kitchen and bathroom granite install looked shotting when they were done. Backsplash was not smooth. Deep impressions, wrong cuts around the outlets. David Irwin, the sales rep, sold the job. He was not patient. Ready for client to make decision, so he could be on his way. Talked client into a easy, less detailed backsplash. Just tumbled marble, with with no further design details that client originally want, When job was done, the client wished they would have insisted on what they wanted, and not let David put in his two cents, to keep the job cost down for CC Carpet. At the time of install, the drywall was ripped and damaged in multiple areas. CC Carpet just left....And again I contacted CC Carpet. Spoke to corporate offce. Finally got them to send out their top sub contract painter. He comes out, acts like he is going to make it look like new again. Nooo, looked horrible. Cheap, poor quality quick fix. It was just one thing after another. Oh but wait, before the painter was called out, the CC rep was supposed to come out and assess the situation. He was supposed to look at what needed to be repaired so he could call the right crew in to repair that day. I asked for a heads up before the guy arrived that morning, 30 minute courtesy call before arrival. They gave me a window, I was at the Dr Office, and receieved a voicemail message. They guy told me he was at the house. No pre-call. So when I got out of the Dr. Office within 10 minutes and called him back, he said he just left and he has another job to go to. He cannot turn back. He obviously had worked the appointment time in, so he had the time blocked out alread . Just lazy and inconsiderate!! NO EXCUSE! CC Carpet got their money and ran! I suggest you Run, Run, Run! Horrible experience!! I do not recommend - Not At All!!!

Carpet installportion was okay. Wood flooring install has been a nightmare. We paid additional for leveling cement. After the wood flooring instll, we found countless hollow spots , boards not glued, transition strips improperly installed and not the same color of the flooring.Certainly not impressed by the installers themselves. Had to reschedule a week later for repairs and the same installers showed up, looked at the repair job and said they couldn't do the job because they didn't have the materials. This was after three conversations with Customer Service to insure they were coming and to go over the repairs required. The same installers blamed the store sales person and their Service Mgr for not providing enough materials for the job. Once the installer left again, I called Customer Service and waited a half day for a response to tell me they were ordering the replacement flooring and to reschedule ANOTHER appointment. I asked for the Service Mgr to call me too but that never happen. The installers didn't fully look at both rooms that need repairs, so I bet they didn't order enough replacement flooring, etc. Forgot to mention the tons of glue residue left on the flooring that they still need to clean. At least that portion could have been accomplished when the installers returned the other day --- but no! Almost forgot to metion the one piece of tile they cracked when they were removing the wood carpet strips. The installers denied they cracked the tile. Never again! A Service manager finally came to the house to review the work and sent a different crew two days later to remove the new wood flooring in one of the rooms, relevel and installed new flooring. This crew did a great job at no extra cost to us. This should not have happened. Way too much time in between installation and then finally repairs.

CC did a great job at half the cost of competitor estimates. Installation was efficient and the quality we expected. Cleanup was to our satisfaction. All employees were courteous. At the warehouse we selected the actual granite slab that was used and coordinated the cut so grain pattern and seam placement suited our desires. Sales provided a accurate quote to the penny and was very helpful with product selection.

C C Carpet has low prices. The service is quick. I was in shock with the first one they did ,the second one I guess there weren't as many people on that job, but it's done in a very efficient manner. They get in there, get the carpet down and then they are on to the next one, that's what I like about them.

The salesperson was helpful in the beginning and this seemed like a good deal. The inclusive deal provided very cheap sinks and back-splash choices were limited., so I bought new faucets, lavatory sinks and back-splash. The and quot;dealand quot; was not looking so good. The next person came out to measure and was very prompt and professional. However, he measurements were way off. The workmanship was sloppy; all of the sink cuts were off and the reveal uneven. The counter top lip varies by over half an inch in place. They disconnected the dishwasher and it has never operated correctly again. I had a hard time getting to talk to someone after the job was started, but they did have someone come out to look at the dishwasher. The first time, the person said everything was ok (but there was no water going in). The second time, the person said it was ok (but there was/is no hot water). They said there was nothing else they could do, so we called a plumber who fixed the problem. They sent someone out to correct the kitchen sink (I had to show them the template that comes with the sink to cut the reveal), because this was the most obvious and I could live with the lavatory sinks. I made a huge mistake in letting them correct the mistake in the house instead of uninstalling the granite and doing it outdoors or at their shop. The house had to be cleaned from top to bottom 3 times because dust from the granite was EVERYWHERE, including our lungs. For months the family suffered with bronchial infections from the dust cutting our throats and lungs. The kitchen and baths look good if you don't look too hard. What started out looking like a deal ended up costing so much more due to the poor workmanship.

The whole process from quoting and measurements, choosing my carpet and tile, and installation went good. The only thing that did not went as planned was that CC Carpet delivered the wrong color tile. It was the same grade and price of the original tile I chose, but not the same color (I wanted light beige, they delivered brownish red). After some contemplation, I decided for the sake of time, I'll just have this installed since it still sort of matched the planned room decor.
Description of Work: I replaced the carpet and pad for a 12x 10 bedroom and tile in 6'x 6' bathroom. It's been a few years, the spend estimate is very approximate.

They were wonderful. We don't remember the quote amount, but it was a bit higher than the other company that we went with. They were okay. The salesman that we talked to offended my husband at one point. He is large and heavy-set and the salesman made a snide comment. That's a part of one of the other reasons why we didn't go with them.

Salesman arrived, measured the room, and suggested options for flooring in our kitchen/dining room area. He had plenty of samples on hand at several price points and was very patient as we debated our options. We couldn't agree on any of the samples so we visited the showroom that weekend and made our selection. We signed the contract Saturday and work began on Tuesday. The installation crew was prompt and professional and cleaned up after themselves. The work was complete and the floor ready to walk on by mid-day on Wednesday. The floor looks great and I could not be happier with how it turned out. I would not hesitate to recommend CC Carpet for flooring and can't wait to use them again in the fall when we replace our kitchen countertops.

The job went well overall, but installers hit the wall in master bath and did slight damage. Instead of telling me what they did, they tried to cover it up. I understand that putting a 7 ft slab of granite in a tight spot can be difficult, just tell the homeowner next time. Not a big deal, just a scratch.

Replaced all the carpet in my home. Installed Engineered wood in the hallways and carpet in the remaining 6 rooms and closets. The wood in the hallways was installed first. The installers did an excellent jobundercutting the molding and installing the flooring after leveling any uneven areas ( included in the installation). One small piece of molding had to be redone later. The installer returned and replaced it without issue at my convenience. The carpet installers removed the old carpet and padding, move the furniture as needed and returned it after installation the day after the flooring was installed. CC Carpet came out to my home with samples and measured for the estimate. They were the best total price for the job. They delivered! I am happy with the results and will use and recommend them.

CC Carpet In Richardson was the second carpet retailer I visited and at that time, I was given a ballpark figure for the two carpets I was looking at. This was supposedly after they looked up the price for the specific color of carpets. I setup an appointment for my house to be measured and the salesman to whom I talked in the showroom showed up. After measuring the house, he suggested that I should choose the more expensive carpet. I had already done my homework on both carpets and was trying to make an aesthetic choice, so I asked him to tell me the pros and cons of the two carpets. What he told me was totally contrary to the experts advice and when I asked a follow-up question, he admitted that he had only worked for the company for a couple of months. Ultimately, I chose the less expensive carpet then, as he was writing up the order, stated that the color I wanted was special order and that he needed to call and verify the price. To my surprise, there would be an extra $500 for the special order. I made the decision to proceed anyway. The carpet was to be delivered to them on Jan. 22nd and the salesman suggested that we set up a tentative installation date of Jan. 26th. No one called on Jan. 22nd to tell me that the carpet arrived, so I called them on Jan 23rd. Yes, the carpet arrived and I was told that I would receive a call on Jan 25th to confirm the installation. No one called during the day, so I called them at 5:30 pm. I was told that they had left me a message (they didn't) and that the installer would come the next day at 10:00 pm. The installers didn't show up, so finally getting irritated at the lack of communication, I went to the Richardson showroom. The salesman was there and called the main office. He then told me that they were scheduled to arrive between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. I expressed my frustration with the communications and was that he was sorry and that there was nothing else he could do. The installers showed up at 12:00 noon and worked rapidly. The installers did a nice job,
Description of Work: If you plan to visit CC Carpets in Richardson: Do your research on carpet types, styles and choices before you go. If you're given a ballpark figure in the showroom, make sure it is based on the color/s you are interested in. Assume that the salesperson's role is ended when you sign the paperwork and give them a deposit. Be sure to get a business card, so that you can call to check on the status of the order throughout, until installation. Bottom line: I got the carpet I wanted, at what I believe is a reasonable price, but I received no customer service while awaiting installation.

They showed up, removed the old carpeting, and replaced it with the processed hardwood flooring that we ordered. However, they did not put down a moisture block layer over the slab foundation. I do not remember ever being told that this was a standard and necessary part of the installation process. They simply put the glue down on the concrete slab and installed the flooring over it. At first, of course, we were thrilled to have new flooring installed within out house. Within two years, however, large dark spots began to appear in the wood flooring, particularly in the Dining Room and Hallways. We assumed that it was an unfortunate consequence of a slab leak that we had had the previous year and had repaired. So, we hired a private contractor to come in and replace the hardwood flooring in the half of the Dining Room where the discoloration was worst. Unfortunately, the flooring that C. C. Carpet had used was difficult to find (after two years!). We had to special order it--from C. C. Carpet--for around $600. Once the new flooring was installed it was fine... for about four months. During this time, discolorations had occurred in the flooring throughout the house... in the Master Bedroom, Hallways, and Office and, after about six months, the discoloration came back on the Dining Room Floor as well. We consulted with another contractor and our insurance agent to see if something could be done. After removing a sample of the flooring and seeing the mold and mildew that is now growing under the flooring, both told us that it has always been standard and usual--before any wood flooring is ever installed over a slab foundation--that a water/moisture barrier is always rolled onto the foundation and allowed to dry before anything is glued. I wish I had known this before--but of course, I'm not in the business of installing flooring! Now, only four and a half years later, we are having to replace all the hardwood flooring in our house... hopefully this time correctly... but at a substantially higher cost because the first item on the agenda is removing the old hardwoods and the glue on the untreated foundation. I wish C. C. Carpet had done it right the first time. Their unprofessionalism will cost our family a great deal of money.
Description of Work: When we moved into our home in 2002, all the floors were carpeted, except the kitchen. After a few years, we decided that we wanted hardwood flooring installed in the Dining Room, Hallways, Master Bedroom, and Office. C. C. Carpet seemed to have the best deal. They came out, showed us flooring samples, and helped us get a credit card to pay for the large purchase.
