Because of a recommendation from a friend who had used this company and positive rating with BBB I felt comfortable using this company, but in hind sight feel like service was not as good as we'd hoped. Roof replacement seemed to go well (with a few minor issues that I wouldn't normally complain about) and we were more or less satisfied ---until we went to turn on our A/C this spring and discovered that a roofing nail had punctured the coolant line for our 2 year old A/C system, causing it to completely empty of freon and send the compressor on overload. [since our old shingles were stapled on and the A/C had worked last season, we know Bradley is at fault] Unfortunately, the repair of the A/C involved cutting a hole in our ceiling and a complete replacement of all the freon in our system, which totaled over $1000 in additional out of pocket repair expenses to our family. Bradley was slow to respond to my initial complaint and only after I again called and emailed pictures of the damage and receipt for my repairs did they send a *token* check of $250 towards the A/C repairs I wouldn't have needed except for their negligence. Because of this experience and the fact that my roof has now cost me an extra $1000, I cannot in good faith recommend this company. Other comments: Salesperson Ron E. was accessible , punctual and professional, but was definitely a typical salesperson. I appreciated that the company handled all of the permit and insurance paperwork and offered us an upgraded shingle at the standard shingle price. However, at the time, I did not realize that even within the and quot;30 yearand quot; shingle category there are different qualities. When the shingles arrived and I looked them up, they were the lowest/cheapest qualtiy and quot;30 yearand quot; product the manufacturer made and not the level of product I had thought I would be getting. It is my fault for not doing more research, asking more questions and getting product/model specifics in writing first. I was told (and it IS in print on their contract) that the company would clean up and roll the magnet for nails daily. This did NOT happen. Debris, staples and other sharp pieces were scattered throughout our lawn and patio/sidewalk after the first day's work, which was disappointing and a safety concern since we have 2 large dogs we needed to let out in our yard. When I commented on this at the job's completion, Ron said and quot;Oh, we only do that daily if you request itand quot;, but that was not what was originally implied in his sales pitch and it is not what their printed contract states. Also, when the workers left the first day, they left packages/bundles of shingles on our steeply sloped roof. 2 of these packages slid off overnight and crashed on our concrete patio, startling us and causing slight damage to the corners of the shingles. I noted this to the roof foreman the next morning (none of the rest of the crew spoke English), but they proceeded to use shingles from those damaged packages anyway. Its possible the damaged ones were thrown out and only good ones were put on, but I cannot be certain. Also, when Ron came to give the initial estimate he gave the sales pitch that they pride themselves on customer service and stand behind their work. He had even said that if there are any issues or complaints they will do their best to make right and put previous customers ahead of new jobs because they know most of their business is by referral. It was because of this impression that I had especially expected Ron and his company to help us out when the A/C damage/expense was caused by their work. Had the A/C damage been more minimal to repair or had they been more quick to stand behind their workmanship, and offer more than 20% of the repair costs, I might still cautiously recommend Bradley to others. While initially at least and quot;satisfiedand quot; with Bradley's work (althought not super impressed), I must now suggest others look elsewhere. Based on our overall experience, I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will not be using this company again.
Description of Work: Replaced our entire roof after wind damage blew off a large portion of older shingles. Upgraded from 3 tab to 30 year shingles at no additional charge. They handled all of the insurance paperwork. We paid the deductible plus extra out of pocket to add turbines for attic ventilation--the rest of the roofing costs were covered by our homeowners insurance.

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience with Bradley Roofing. Brian Molter is exceptionally well-qualified to perform estimates, and can handle the process from start to finish. Brian is personable, and is eager to please -- he will work with the client until everything is satisfactory. There was some discussion over work performed and how to calculate the bill, but all was eventually resolved.
Description of Work: Replaced roofing shingles, and helped coordinate the replacement of siding, gutters, and painting.

They are prompt, when they put the new roof on they did it quickly, and they picked everything up. There was no sign up of any construction around. The roof held up fine, but we just really got hit with a hail storm. They were here that night to put a tarp over a skylight.
Description of Work: They have put a whole new roof on, and have come back after our hail storm to check, and it wasn't ok. So they will be doing repairs.
