They are really good. They are phenomenal. He is a little slow on sending the bills but he will always send us the bill. He is so reasonably priced. Their work is so phenomenal. We never have to worry about it. We use them regularly. We used them when we renovated. He got somebody out yesterday when we had a problem yesterday. His prices are phenomenal. We wouldn’t use anybody else.
Description of Work: We used Bob Owens Electric because we had a problem.

UPDATE 03/08/14: We had flickering lights in the house today, and I called the electric company who pulled the meter to inspect it. The contacts on the meter box were burned. It turns out Bob Owens did NOT replace our OLD meter box when we paid him big bucks to replace the Federal panel with the new Square D. The box would have cost an extra $50 in parts. The house could have burned down. We had another electrician come out to look at the shoddy work done by Bob Owens, and also discovered that his guys did not use the correct gauge wire for the new ground we PAID him to install, it was undersized (10 gauge as opposed to 6 gauge.) Mr. Bob Owens also did NOT pull a permit to do the work with the City of Denton. DO NOT USE BOB OWENS ELECTRIC. If you have used him, you had better get an honest electrician out to your home to inspect his crappy work. Original Review Below: Not well, really. It was explained to this company that we needed a very good surge protector due to the presence of high-end electronics in our shop, which is located in the home. The company then purchased the lower-end (cheaper) model surge protector, and when confronted about this, then explained that it was 'very expensive' (over $400), and that the higher level protector was even more expensive. It turns out the model they installed was only $230, and I was able to purchase the higher level protector for ... $440 (and this was also with a noise filter). We then had another electrician company remove the lower model and install the higher model. We also had informed the company of the desire to have a new panel installed and the owner came out initially to quote the work. He did not pull the old panel to inspect the gauge of wiring we had, and as a result, when his workmen arrived several weeks later to do the work, were unable to install the correct size 20-amp fuses in the new panel, siting the new code and improper gauge of wiring. Instead, they then re-used old and USED 15 amp fuses that they took off their dirty and disorganized truck, which had weak springs on several circuits. This caused our home to trip fuses this summer, and we had to have another company come out to rectify the problems (caused by Owens inability to install NEW fuses in a NEW SqaureD panel). Lesson learned - beware of electricians that tell you to replace your old "Federal Electric" panel cause it will 'burn' your house down. We believed three such reports, all given by master electricians that were just dieing to put in a newer, expensive panel. This Federal panel in the home for 36 years without incident or breakers tripping, and it was not until we had the old 'dangerous' panel replaced that the real problems began. They don't make 'em like they used to, and they sure don't and/or can't install them like they used to either.
Description of Work: Replaced old Federal Panel with a new Square D panel, installed surge protector and several 20 amp circuits.
