Blue Moon came out about 2 weeks after we bought the Big Deal. Due to some weather issues we had to reschedule their work a couple of times. Once they got to the house, they did a great job patching the roof and making sure everything was cleaned up and back to normal. I checked the patch several times for leaks since the work was completed and still no water coming through- I was very pleased with their work.

Ryan Scott was a tremendous help in the handling of our hail claim, and subsequent roof damage, and other property damages. When the insurance company offered us on 25% of the value of the claim, Ryan stepped in and worked with the insurance company, providing them photos, repair estimates, and even meeting with the adjuster to ensure we got a fair deal from our insurance company. Thanks to Ryan, we have a great new roof, and all of our property damage has been repaired. Ryan was more than our roofer, he was our advocate with the insurance company, and was able to speak their language, while also making sure that we understood the process, and what the next step was. He coordinated the repairs to our windows, siding, and gutters, and really eased our burden. The best part, is the work looks great!

They were great! Had to work on my skylight 3 times to get it right but they did get it fixed.

It went very well. Easy to schedule. Professional atitude. Took iPhone pictures of findings to show me. One of the repairs had to be scheduled for another day and that went well, too.

I was very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. Will definitely call them again if I need any roofing help.

I am more than happy with the services of Blue Moon roofing! Ben Moses is a very nice, very professional guy. I liked he didn't want to upsell me to roof repair and was very honest about the (good) quality of my roof. He also removed 2 dishes (have FIOS now) without charge. Although I hope it will not too soon, but if I need a new roof, Blue Moon will get my business! Clearly an Angies A-list winner!

Ben was up on the roof what I would estimate a fair amount of time to walk the roof, 2400+ sq ft. house, and perform any maintenance work that was needed. Then, he packed up his truck and said he would e-mail me a full report later along with pictures, but my roof was in good working condition and had many years of service left. Inspection showed I had some loose roofing nails which were sealed, and some roof jacks were sealed as well. Also, some nails were added in the chimney area, as well as some other minor repairs. As Ben was entering his truck to drive away I remembered that I wanted to mention I had noticed a little water stain on the wall up by my skylight and wanted him to really check that over. I flagged him down before he drove away, and to his credit, he pulled his ladder back off his truck and went back up on the roof to double check the skylight. He said he resealed the entire skyline while he was up there to make sure ? and if I had any trouble with the skylight to just give him a call. He would warranty the seal and come out for free if I had any problems with it leaking. Now ? that's service. Because he was about to drive away he could've said "Oh Yeah, the skylight is fine". Instead, in the midst of a busy schedule, because I know there are probably a lot of people buying this Angie's List Big Deal special, he took the time to double check and warranty the work. Enough said!

Didn't show up ast time specified but called and apologized and said problem was due to road construction- made sense to me. Ben, Leanne, and other roofer were courteous and prompt to call back. I would definitely use again.

They actually met my husband and gave us an estimate. We were out of town when they did it. It’s a house that we still own, but don’t live in. They came out that Wednesday when we were out of town and fixed it all up. When we went back and looked at it, everything was great. We called to thank them, and they sent us a bill. We had some other estimates too, and their price was certainly in the ballpark. They came out the next day.

I was a few minutes late and the owner was there waiting for me. We discussed the leak I sometimes have in the house on the front of my fireplace during heavy rains and I showed him the area where I have seen drips. I watched from the yard as he walked back and forth carefully examining all the shingles and added some sealant around some roof profusions, then filled some holes from the bolts that formerly held a satellite dish in place on the roof. He examined the fireplace chimney area carefully, and pulled back the shingles against the flashing to shoot sealant under them in hopes this will eliminate the drip. He took photos of what he did and when he got off the roof showed me the photos and explained everything to me. He also told the the various things that could cause the drip on the front of the fireplace and the types of things that are done for the various causes. Hopefully the sealant he put under the shingles will be sufficient. He also gave me some good advice on something to have added around the fireplace the next time I have a new roof put on. He was very professional and very patient at answering my questions.

Took advantage of the roofing special on Angies list and gave him a call. Once I called him and made an appointment everything was smooth sailing. Fantastic!!!! He showed up early. I showed him a section of the roof that I was concern with, on May 28th (Memorial Day), I notice a shingles that had move out of place. He climb up to the roof and showed me other shingles that was missing. He temporary fixed the problems, as he at the time didn't any shingles to match my roof, guaranteed me that the temporary repair would not leak. Roof did not leak, after all the rain we had the following day. Two days later he called (May 31, 2012), came over the house and finish of the job with the matching shingles. Job complete, very professional and on time, as he promissed. Will highly recommend him and I will call him again in the future for any roof repairs that I may need....

From the moment I contacted them for an estimate, Leanne and Ben were very helpful, responsive, and patient. They came out and inspected the roof, giving me an estimate for 20 and 30 year shingles, and the hail resistant shingles. Once we got the paperwork filed with the insurance company, they were quick to schedule a date so the job could be done before some predicted storms. Ben came to my house with shingle samples so I could pick the color, and let me know what to expect; he even recommended that I bring my car out of the garage, since they would need to use the driveway and I would otherwise be stuck. The day of the roofing, the crew arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up the yard and by the time they left, you could not tell that they had been there--except for the beautiful new roof. Leeanne even hand delivered the paperwork certifying the use of Class 4 shingles (which will reduce my insurance premiums) to my insurance agent. I chose Blue Moon on the recommendation of a friend, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs a roof. I should not need another roof for quite some time, but if anything unforeseen should happen I will definitely give Leeanne a call.

I called Blue Moon Roofing and spoke with Leeanne, the office assistant, who set up a time for someone to come out and check my house for hailstorm damage. After the roof was checked, Leeanne called me to let me know about the damage they found. The roof needed replacement and two leaning posts on my fence needed to be repaired. An estimate was sent for the replacement roof and fence repair. Based on their estimate and the positive reviews on Angie's List, I decided to go with Blue Moon Roofing. From start to finish they were professional and thorough. The owner, Ben, brought me roofing samples to help decide which shingles would look best with the color of my home's exterior Leeanne answered every question I had (and some I hadn't thought of) by phone and e-mail. I asked to have the work crew arrive at a later time and they did so. They cleaned up after the work was done and not one nail was left behind! They were especially good at working with my insurance company. I had no concerns once Blue Moon Roofing took on the job. They knew what I wanted and did a great job in installing my roof and repairing my fence posts. All of the horror stories I'd heard about having a roof replaced never happened. I was quite pleased with the whole process. This company went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer and I am!

I was thoroughly pleased with our experience with Blue Moon Roofing -- from the very first visit until the project was completed. They were professional, courteous, and tidy. They took time to explain everything and even help me choose a new shingle color based on the color scheme of our house. They got held up the first day at another project and had to come the next day. Blue Moon did a great job of communicating with me about all of the details. They agreed to stop working at 6:00pm the first day so that I could get my toddler down for bed without noisy distractions. They came back the next day and finished up for us. The clean-up was very thourough, which I really appreciated since we have a dog and a toddler who loves to play outside. I would (and already have) recommend Blue Moon to anyone needing or wanting a new roof.

I needed to replace my roof due to hail and tornado damage. I was contacted by several "storm chasing" salesman, who would only give me a "guestimate" on how much to repair my roof, but wanted to wait until they saw my insurance settlement before giving me an honest estimate, in other words they'd do the job for either how low, or high, the insurance was going to pay. Thus, I was referred to Blue Moon Roofing by a neighbor. The owner, Ben Moses, came out and met the adjuster and went over the repairs. I then contacted Ben, and he quoted me what seemed like a fair price. I was even more convinced after they replaced the roof on my neighbors house, I was never someone to really notice roofs, but you could tell a notable differance in the quality and attractiveness of my neighbor's roof compared to other recently redone roofs on my street. I did finally get two other real estimates, and they were all within a few hundred dollars, so I went with Blue Moon. It took them 2 days to complete the project, and I am more than satisfied. Also, the crew did a very good cleanup, and took care of not getting refuse or materials into my pool.
