Larry Adams with Rey Manufacturing/Artisan Door Gallery came out the same day that we spoke on the phone to measure our door. Within the week, he sent us a computer-generated picture of the replacement door and gave us a quote of $2,800, half due in advance and half upon delivery. We agreed, and the door was delivered in a month. However, the door didn't match the specifications - it had extra molding, was missing the magazine slot, and would not fit the stained glass panels. It took five months of calling Larry Adams and Joe Rey (the owner) before we got the door fixed. Joe Rey does not live in Dallas and used his constant travel to other cities as an excuse for not knowing what was happening with customers in the Dallas area; he claimed he would look into our claim and get back to me, but he never initiated a single phone call. In the end, it took the threat of legal action before the door was finally delivered the next day.
Description of Work: We live in a conversation district and needed to replace our front door with a solid wood door in the same style that would accommodate custom-made stained glass.

The threshhold was too short...They sent outside molding that wouldn't fit. They wouldn't apologize or fix it. There was sawdust in the glass glue in the stain crack in the door. I complained, a guy came out and started blaming everyone else. I am real unhappy with these guys. Lots of problems.
Description of Work: They manufactured and delivered a custom door with leaded glass windows.
