+ -1 moreWe contacted Arrow Exterminators because we wanted a termite prevention contract with a repair warranty (rather than an "inspect and retreat warranty"). The Arrow representative (Larry), who came to our home and gave us an estimate, was very professional, and we considered Arrow's cost estimate to be reasonable based on our prior experience with the Sentricon termite prevention system. The technician from Arrow (Adele) installed the Sentricon stations a few days later. We were very pleased with the way in which we were treated by the Arrow representatives and the way in which their work was performed.

+ -1 moreMay 9th ,the next day fire ants poured out of wall socket. We sprayed ourselves and stopped them May 15th ,7 days later, rover ants swarmed the kitchen. We called and were told by the exterminator the poison needs to work for 10 days or 3 days more. We didn't wait - used the TERRO as before. Out of 5 treaments This is the 3rd time ants have swarmed inside after treatment. It was roaches another time, but Bill told us they came from the drains and we have been treating ourselves since. Arrow claims to stand behind their work - I just wish they would kill the bugs, not just herd them inside our house.
Description of Work: Treated inside and out on May 8th. weep holes were injected with a powder. Inside supposedly was sprayed. but swarming ants did not seem affected by whatever was done. We have been with Arrow for a year and 3 months. 5 treatments.

+ 0 moreI called at 10 am about an animal trapped in my chimney. I was told that someone would come out the same day at about 2-3 pm. At 3:45 pm I hadn't heard anything, so I called back. They told me that the person that was supposed to come would not be able to come until the next day. No one called to let me know. I've been sitting here all day with an animal thumping around in my chimney thinking someone was coming. If they had called, I could have checked around for same day service from another company. Very unprofessional.
Description of Work: No services performed--did not show up as arranged, did not call.

+ -1 moreGreat - the technician serviced all of our termite bait stations. He had to did through several inches of gravel to find 4 that had been covered in recent retaining wall construction. He did so with a great attitude and good customer service. After taking so long to find these stations he asked about our storage shed in the back yard. No stations had been installed to protect the wood floor of the metal building. He asked if we wanted it protected for no additional charge. He installed two stations. This was after he had spend so much time on the other. GREAT customer service.
Description of Work: We renewed our Sentricon termite control service and Arrow came and inspected each station. We have been very pleased in the professionalism and customer service over the years we have used Arrow. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing termite/pest control services.

+ 0 moreWe started out with a company with a friend of others. He sold it, and I sold it. They sold and it became Arrow. I can tell you that we would have been with him for many years now. They are extremely professional and punctual. They do an excellent job, and we have just been very pleased with them. The quarterly bill is around $85 for pest control. We are billed $100 a year for termites. We were treated for termites and now they just come back and inspect as per the warranty. We lived kind of close to a lot of countryside, and we have had problems with rats. They have also dealt with that. The people who come out to do the work have been wonderful.

+ -1 moreAfter finding termites outside my home by the patio, I pointed out the problem during Arrow's quarterly pest control visit. They recommended a consultation with their termite specialist. He recommended the Sentricon system and gave me a quote. I compared various termite control systems on the internet and found very subjective opinions about all of them. Based on past satisfaction with Arrow, I had them install their system. Installation was about a week later and took less than two hours. All personnel were prompt and professional. It will take many years of use to evaluate the effectiveness of the Sentricon System.

+ -1 moreWe have been extremely pleased with the service and friendly attitudes of all employees we have dealt with. We feel all the technicians are trustworthy and have not had any issues with them. The technicians always take great care not to track dirt into the house by removing their shoes while in the house. We have outside animals and the techs also take extra precautions for the animals. In summary, we are very pleased and highly recommend Arrow Pest Services.
Description of Work: We have been using Arrow Pest for over five years on a quarterly basis. They call when an appointment is due and schedule a convenient time. They treat all areas of our home inside and outside as necessary. They typically ask if we have experienced any specific problems and address any issues as needed. They will spray the brick weep opening on the exterior. They treat EVERY window frame (25 windows for us) and exterior door in the house. They check every room, closet and garage. They provide glue boards for the garage as needed. With the quarterly service, if we ever experience any issues they will come back and provide follow up treatment at no charge. We have only had to do this one time in five years when yard spiders were overabundant. When we did a bathroom remodel, we also called Arrow Pest to have them treat the exposed areas with termite preventative. They were very responsive to come on a specific day in the middle of our construction when needed.

We have a very reasonable quarterly service contract with them and they either call or send a postcard to remind us to schedule a day and time for service. We have had our current technician for at least five years and, since he knows our house so well, he is very efficient and thorough in addressing any problems. He will return as often as needed if any pests appear between regular visits for no additional fee. He also checks the yard and sprays for fire ants or other critters. We have a separate termite contract with Arrow that is renewable annually.

After our general pest control vendor turned non-responsive after being unable to solve an ant problem, we inquired with Arrow. The office person was responsive, friendly and offered advice on our issue. She also provided a quote on the phone and scheduled a visit at our convenience (Saturday). The service technician, Bill Rupell, was precisely on time, dressed professionally, and very helpful diagnosing and treating a problem. The next service was scheduled at our convenience.
