The most impressive part of this experience was that Robert explained the entire process. He drew a diagram and informed that utilities had to come out and check for cable and phone lines before beginning the work. Robert would not do the work until. My only complaint was that Robert was very casual, not providing a time-frame or accepting a deposit. It was almost a month and I had no clue when the work was starting until I saw flags in the side and backyard. The next day, someone from Aquamax, informed me the utilities came out and marked where the lines were. They informed me on 5/4/2010 they would be out that Saturday. They called on Thursday and would be able to complete the work that day. I was not home that day and I had a pet in the backyard which concerned me, but she did not get out. Aquamax did the French drain and cleaned up very well. They had to dig a trench from the side all the way to the backyard to run it out to the alley. You can barely see where they did the work. They did a great job filling it in. Robert came out and informed me they will fill in the low spots with extra soil. I think they did a very good job, overall. I am very pleased. The estimate was right on and I mentioned Angie's List and received $15.00 off the installation. They were also professional. The drain is running along the fence line so it is not trashing the entire backyard. It was not cheap as I received another estimate that was lower. I felt comfortable with this company and thought they knew what they were talking about. I am having gutters installed and his company would come out and connect the downspout with the French drain underground.

I decided since they were out here, I would have them check out all of the sprinkler heads. My house was built in 1994 and I do not believe anyone had checked the sprinkler heads since then. I would suggest to Angie's Listers that they give a discount for $15.00 but I did not have a coupon and did not receive it. They show up on time, very polite, and Joe, after completing the project, explained the whole new controller. He took it step by step, very clearly, and did a test for each station. He stood with me and made sure every station was working to my satisfaction.

When I called, it was easy to make the appointment. Joe called over an hour before the time of our scheduled appointment to let me know he was running early and could arrive in 5 minutes. He arrived as he said he would, asked where we needed him to look, and drove around to the driveway. He asked me to point out the problem heads, but I couldn't remember exactly which ones needed work. He ran the system, found the head that we snapped off with the lawn mower, and was able to repair the pipe and replace the head without damaging the yard or replacing a whole section of the system. Then he found the two heads that had been damaged a while ago by the fence installers, dug them out of the concrete around the posts, and replaced them. When he finished, he gave me the total of my bill, which was less than he had originally estimated before beginning work.

My original appointment was for yesterday, but it was raining all day so Tony called to reschedule for today. He actually arrived 20 minutes early. I told him where the water was coming from and he started to go to work. The leak was near the sidewalk by the street. After he dug where I told him the water was coming from, he realized that it was actually coming from the other side of the sidewalk. He quickly found the problem after he dug the second hole. After he fixed the problem he put my yard back together. When he was finished I asked him to check on a sprinkler head that was spraying into the street. Without hesitation he asked me to turn it on and he realized that the head was wrong for that location. Apparently the stores around here only sale 12 to 15 feet spray lengths and I needed an 8 feet spray length. He didn't even charge me for it. This was my first time with this company, but I will definitely call them again if anything else goes wrong with my irrigation system.

It looked like we had a sprinkler leak due, but the handles to my old double check valve had rusted off so I was not able to shut off the water to the sprinkler system. I called Aquamax late on a Wednesday night and had Tony came out to my house Thursday morning to look things over. Tony explained that he did not think that I had a leak, but he gave me a quote for replacing the entire double check. I accepted and Tony was back out at my house two days later and completed the job within an hour. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work and would definitely use them in the future.

They came out, checked out the sprinkler system and found a broken pipe. They repaired and replaced it. They came over twice and did an excellent job of correcting the problem. The price was very reasonable too.

The Aquamax crew scheduled a day and time they would be at the house. They showed up when they said they would (in fact they were early). They quickly evaluated the job, gave me a fair quote, and finished the work within the next two hours. In a similar situation, I would not hestitate to call them again.

They were able to locate and repair two leaks for the amount estimated. I also had an entire zone that works only intermittently and which also leaks, since it was not working when they were onsite, they were not able to diagnose the problem. I was dissapointed with this portion of the service, I would have thought they could at least provide estimate for additional work to repair or rebuild the zone that was not working.

EXCELLENT!!! Joe was the service technician who came out and gave me a bid. He was very positive and reassuring about my overall system and made sure that he understood what I wanted before doing anything His bid was fair and reasonable and when I called back to schedule the work, they were able to schedule within a few days. Joe and I had discussed that it was difficult for me to be home during the day and he indicated that if I left the garage side door open, I did not need to be there. True to his word, I was not there but they showed up, did the work and left things so nice, I had to search to see if they had been there. Sprinkler heads in new places and a more efficient sprinkler system were present and Joe called to leave me a message that they had completed the work. It's great to have someone realize that homeowner's have to work too.

I called AquaMax to come and inspect our sprinkler system. I had used them in the past as a ?non-member? and felt comfortable using them again now as a current member of Angie?s List. I set a time on Thursday morning between 07:30 to 09:30 AM. The day before the appointment we received a call asking if we could reschedule the time and/or day. Not a problem and we bumped the appointment to 03:30 to 05:30 PM the same day. About 02:45 or 03:00 Joe called and said they were running ahead and asked if they could come by early, sure!! Joe and his partner Travis arrived and started in on the inspection. In no time they tested the system, replaced two pop-up heads and we had our estimates. Joe and Travis were very professional, customer oriented and they didn?t waste time.

"Aqua-Joe" from AquaMax arrived on time and didn't waste a minute getting busy. His partner couldn't make it to help him so he had to do everything himself. He told me he worked fast however and he was right. He had a great attitude and when I asked him to adjust the sprinkler heads to my preferences he happily and promptly did exactly what I asked without having to ask more than once. Joe also re-mounted my sprinkler control box as it was falling off the wall (no charge). He helped me work out better sprinkler programs for my system that would avoid some of the problems we've been having (over watering). On the whole I was extremely impressed with "Aqua-Joe" and his high level of customer service. I highly recommend this company especially if they send you "Aqua-Joe"!

This story started on a Sunday morning. I was giving my sprinkler system its first test-run after the winter season, and noticed the the sprinkler heads in Zone 1 wouldn't turn off after completing its cycle. Not knowing WHAT to do, I called Aquamax (have used them before) and was THRILLED that someone actually answered the phone on a Sunday morning. The gentleman was able to explain to me how to get the water turned off and we scheduled an appointment for Wednesday AM. I was able to get the water turned off (thank you, kind gentleman!) which greatly relieved my panic. Repair crew came out right on time, diagnosed the problem, replaced a defective valve and repaired some bad sprinkler heads all in about an hour. The main repair guy (sorry - I'm terrible at remembering names...) was courteous and professional, and answered all my questions. I was ecstatic that they knocked it out professionally, competently, quickly and economically.

David arrived promptly. I had a list identifying the problem areas, those to change, add and cap off. Noted 1 area did not seem to be working. He went right to work, "re-building" a point by the circle drive area that had been run over and reset it away from the drive to prevent it from happening again and modified it for better coverage. He continued on enhancing the coverage areas with pop-ups for better coverage and changing out old pattern heads (13 yrs old) to better match the landscape and changes made over the years. He worked hard on my zone that wasn't working and ended up replacing the valve. After, he ran the system, zone by zone, and adjusted as needed for proper coverage. I was very pleased with his work. Thanks David! NOTE: When you see the remark about the estimated cost, there wasn't an estimate and by the time all was done, the cost was a bit more than I planned, but I got everything done.

They were on time and had it done in a timely manner. I asked if they could come a day early and they did. It only took two days and they did a good job.

Repair person was on time (actually, a bit early - but he waited for me to get home!) and made all of the repairs within 30 minutes or so. Tested everything out (our systems is probably 20 years old) and made sure everything was working correctly.

They were punctual and did what they said they would. I would recommend them to anyone I know and would use them again myself in the future.

Robert Maxvill (owner) gave us the quote and setup the appointment. The only issue we had with the whole experience wasn't even with AquaMax, it was with the cable people not showing up in a timely fashion to mark their lines. Robert's foreman for the project (Tony) was very courteous and professional, as was the team of installation folks. He took the time to explain the system to me and show me where to find pertinent information in the instruction manual. I had done a lot of research on various types of sprinkler systems and installation locations (near the foundation, near shrubs, etc) and the install team took time to also listen to my questions and requests. It will be a year May 2007 that we have had the system and it has worked flawlessly so far. I am happy we did business with Robert's company and would do so again. We have recommended AquaMax to friends and relatives.

OVERALL I WAS SATISFIED. SOME LEAKS WERE MISSED, BUT THE COMPANY PROMPTLY TOOK CARE OF IT AT NO ADDITIONAL COST, (EXCEPT PARTS), AND WERE APOLOGETIC. SPRINKLER IS STILL WORKING FINE 8 MONTHS LATER.
