Aquamax Sprinkler Systems

Seems possible the special price was just an enticement, because they "repaired and replaced" to the tune of $540.00! And that's a lot in my book, considering it's now not even close to perfect. Now, there's a lot of water running down the street, when there was none before. Now, there are several dry spots showing up, that seemed to be covered before. Would I recommend or hire them again? Probably not, or else I would stand next to them and breathe down their necks while doing every speck of the job.

My experience went well but I did run into small issues. The guys that came did not know I had purchased a big deal with them so they tried to double bill me. The service was good but we just had communication issues. The appointment went well and they did a good job.

We have used Aquamax several times in the past year, and each experience has been great. They always come out quickly, take care of our issues, and come in under what we expect any repairs to cost. When they came to repair our sprinklers in one of our flower beds yesterday, I expected that the plants would end up being destroyed in order to get to line, but they left our plants in the same condition as before the repair. They are professional and courteous. We will continue using them in the future.

He did fix the broken in ground control connection. However, quoted me a price of $700.00 to fix the cut connection wires. The he advised that he did this work on the weekend and could do it for $500.00. His assistant left the green cover led off 3 in ground control units and left the gate open in our backyard. This was not good, since we have dogs.

They were honest and helpful. They gave good, quick service and with the Angie's List coupon, it was a great deal!

After a rather combative exchange over the sprinkler box settings we resolved the issued.

The two technicians called me while they were on their way and arrived punctually. They inspected the sprinkler system and explained the problem with the areas that were not being watered. They installed an additional sprinkler head which has solved the problem. My only reservation is that the installation of the sprinkler head cost more than I understood that it would, but perhaps I just didn't understand well. Also, within two weeks of their visit, my husband had to repair a damaged head. It seemed odd to me that the sprinkler head could have become inoperable that quickly, but perhaps that does happen.

Found Aquamax on Angie's List. Had a coupon. Called and set appointment. Service technician arrived on time & got to work. He was extremely knowledgeable-could tell he had much experience. Gave me some tips about upkeep of system.

I recently purchased a new home and the sprinkler system was in bad shape: nearly everything was clogged, heads were cracked, and the system was putting more water on concrete (drive way, road and side walk) than the lawn. I called Aquamax and was scheduled for a next day visit early in the morning. Tony and a colleague arrived early, were professional, and promptly completed the work after discussing what I was looking to do. They completed the entire job in about 30 minutes, explained what changes where made and walked me through the invoice. They provided recommendations on finding out what days were "watering days" in Dallas based on home address and also provided recommendations on times and frequency to water. They did an excellent job.

Excellent experience. The two man crew was prompt and worked quickly. They tuned up our system (including adjusting spray patterns) and made a few repairs (one of which we already knew of). A couple of our nozzles were not working properly and we had a valve issue. They made repairs under $10 (not including the price of labor) without consulting us. However, they did consult us on the repair of the valve, which was $35 (not including labor), before they did that. They billed us $80 for the repairs, which were separate from the $70 promotional tune-up. My only reservation about the work was that they completed it all extremely quickly (they were done in about 25 minutes). Our system has not been tuned up in years and I feel like it probably needs some additional work. For instance, they did not adjust the amount of time each zone is being watered. The promotion advertises that they look at that to assure that each zone is being watered sufficiently and not over-watered. However, I can't tell you how often I've adjusted the times from their original settings. I felt like it probably would need tweaking. Just an example of how I feel the quality might have been lacking a bit. Overall, I believe it was money well spent and would use them again if I needed a quick and fair-priced repair done.

Bought The Big Deal, service provider called within 24 hours of purchase. Determined that The Big Deal was only for sprinkler system tune up, not repairs. My sprinkler system needed repairs. The service provider said Angie's would refund money.

Owner is a really nice guy. This job spiraled a bit out of hand with a leak turning into needing a new blow-back thing on the sprinkler system. It turned into a lot of back and forth between an overpriced plumber and Aquamax, the net effect of which my wallet was significantly lighter. After paying Aquamax over $500, I wish they'd have screwed in a replacement $3 sprinkler head rather than giving me another bid for that. It's the little things.

I can't imagine a better experience. This new house is becoming a money pit and I was determined not to spend a lot of money on the sprinklers and opt to buy a hose if necessary. The efficiency of the two men who came out and the reasonable price was a great and welcome surprise. Highly recommend.

It was a good experience. They arrived on time, understood the issue and quickly fixed it. The price was reasonable. They have a 90 day warranty for the services they provided, which is good too.

I purchased the Deal, but when I spoke with the service provider I was told the work I wanted done was not covered. I needed a couple of sprinkler heads replaced and my rain / freeze guard reinstalled. I scheduled Aquamax for the work and it was completed satisfactorily.

It went great! Robert and his team were very responsive and professional. We would definitely use them again and refer the company to a friend and/or neighbor.

On time, and very quick and professional. Choose them because they stated that they charged time by the 1/4 hr and not by the whole hour. Everybody else said $xxx.xx dollars an hour, minimum 1 hr or 2.

I originally hired Aquamax on one of the sprinkler head tune up deals for $70. However, I had just moved in to my new house, and new there were more issues with my sprinkler system including a broken sprinkler system control box based off of the inspection. The GC that did my inspection recommended that I hire a sprinkler company. Once I purchased the deal, I received an e-mail within 24 hours to schedule my service. However, I was going to be out of the country for the next two weeks, and wouldn't be home. My father would be house sitting for me while I was gone, so I went ahead and scheduled a time for Aquamax to come out while my father was there. According to my father, they came out at the agreed upon time promptly, tuned the sprinkler heads, and also found the issues with the control box, and some of the water lines (DIY gone wrong). I had given my father permission to let Aquamax fix everything that needed to be fixed, and they did just that. They scheduled another time a week later to come out and basically reconfigure and fix my entire system. They showed up on time, fixed everything that needed to be fixed, and programmed my sprinkler system to run twice a week. Though I wasn't there, my father told me he was very pleased with their work, and had zero issues. Trusting my dad the way I do, I would highly recommend Aquamax to anyone looking for work on their sprinkler system.

Due to the number of line breaks and heads that needed to be replaced. The work was spread over 2 visits. The men were quite friendly and made several suggestions on the repairs to save me some money (always appreciated). I have more work to do one several other zones and will definitely be calling them back.

Dennis the technician from aquamax was great. He found two leaks and repaired them on the spot. Awesome service!

Tony showed up early, which was fine with us. He checked all f the sprinkler heads and made sure they were all in working order. He was very professional.

It went fine. The man was friendly and professional.

He came out almost immediately. Was on time. Looked over my system and made some adjustments. Discussed with me minor issues with my system, replaced one head. and gave me advice on how to best water my lawn. Very nice and professional.

For the amount of money spent, we expected better coverage. We ended up losing a 1/2 pallet of sod in the backyard last summer after the sprinkler repair and the front yard is spotty at best unless it's rain or we hand water. We contacted them and they could not tell us if it would be a warranty covered item without coming out. They stated if they came out and it was not a warranty covered item ( after $700 spent!! ) then they would charge us for the trip!! For $700++ spent, we expected more. They're responsive and polite but we expected more for $700++ spent on an angieslist offer.
