Aquamax Sprinkler Systems

This was a $49 big deal purchase and it was fine. They charged me extra money to do some repairs. I was not expecting to pay additional prices. I thought the tune up would cover any repairs that they found. The quality of the work was fine. They definitely followed up. Their professionalism was fine.

The initial package covered the inspection and recommendations. Everything was adjusted for best coverage once the replacements were in. They did excellent work.

They did an excellent job. They showed up on time, reviewed the scope of the work, and performed the job very quickly. They also worked with me to get the price down to what I was prepared to pay. All in all, I was quite pleased with their work.

He corrected some sprinklers. He identified some sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced. He gave quote and upon approval fixed heads.

Nothing, never contacted customer, never made appointment, no follow through

They were great! Found a leak I didn't even know abut and fixed it as well as suggesting adjustments of sprinkler heads to avoid watering the driveway instead of the lawn. They arrived on time, were very professional and courteous. They showed me the leak they found and gave an estimate for the repair that was right on the money

First negative: The scare tactics...my system was horrible and would cost over a thousand to correct. Second: The area that didn't receive needed coverage would cost about $500.00 to fix. My landscape guy fixed it FOR FREE the next day. Third: They said all my sprinkler heads were fine. Right after they left, I checked them all and one was completely broken and water shot over 10 ft into the air; again my landscape guy fixed it for me. I was really disappointed that they seemed to be using a low-priced quality check to get their foot in the door for over-priced services. I would never use them or recommend them. I hope the fact that I'm an older woman in a new house did not play into the transaction.

Provider called, and said they had an early opening, so we were glad to hear that. One person immediately set to work, did a full-tune-up, and fixed our problem areas.

An adequate job was performed

I took the day off work, and I set up the for appointment for 9 to 11 am today. He never showed up. I called at 11:09am and he said "It's raining." I said asked why he didn't call me, to cancel the appointment and claimed that he did. He also said he would get back to me at 1pm on Tuesday, and said "You'll be available then right?" He was rude, arrogant, and obnoxious. Claimed that he tried to call the night before, but he had not. I have a cell phone and it doesn't show any missed calls or messages.

Very happy, they showed up early and in the rain and took care of the problem! I will use them again!

Tony A. had called ahead to ensure that we were there, and that he was on his way and will arrive shortly. He was courteous and introduced himself and asked about the current sprinkler system and the problem we are having. After that I showed him the control panel and the main control valve (he correct me when he found out that it was the back flow valve, which i had mistaken as the control valve). He also showed me where the main control valve/solenoid was located. He did some investigative work on the parts I mentioned and noticed that the water was going through but the main solenoid was not functioning. Tony Identified that the main solenoid was possibly damaged and no longer responding to the signals from the control panel. Once he identified the problem, he was able to give a breakdown on what it would cost to fix the main solenoid. The prices he gave were reasonable and after we accepted the term he began to replace the main solenoid ( it was first installed back in 1996 and the solenoid valve was de-threaded and needed to be replaced). During the process he explained many things about the sprinkler system and identified which part was which. After he replaced it and refilled the hole he dug up, he drafted up the invoice. The whole process took about 30 - 45 min. Tony did a great job in explaining the problem and the job of each part of the sprinkler system. He also quoted a reasonable price for the replacement and labor cost. I didn't have a single problem with Tony or the service he provided and thus gave him 5 stars for everything.

I haven't used the coupon. I'm only completing this now in the hopes that Angie's List will then stop asking for the review.

Tony A. was a great guy to work with. Friendly, informative, and a quick worker. After repairs and adjustments our sprinkler systems is working better than ever.

The arrived promptly and got right to work. He provided estimates on what I should do to make my system better and estimates on a drip irrigation system to help with foundation issues. My system was not efficient, but the changes we made to the heads should help waste less water in the long run while later on I can pay to have some spots re-arranged.

They were thorough and professional. However, the final cost was quite high compared to any other sprinkler service I have used in the past (particularly the additional labour charge, which was almost $100 and rather absurd given that the head replacement/checking is hardly distinct time-wise from the tune-up itself).

Great job, quick and very thorough

I originally purchased the Tune Up deal for $69.99. They scheduled me about three weeks out since apparently they are very busy. Once the day came, the people showed up exactly when they said they'd be there and quickly got to work. They wasted no time and worked very hard and efficiently. The "tune up" took about 5 minutes of time. They ran the different zones, marked where the broken heads were, and adjusted the spray of each head that was working. I asked for them to fix the heads, since I had quite a few that had problems, and they graciously obliged. Unfortunately, fixing the heads, a pipe issue, and relocating a sprinkler a bit further away, all of which took about an hour, bumped my price from $69 to about $400. That's fine. I thought it was fair if my sprinkler system was working appropriately. They ran the system one last time and left. Well, the next time I ran the system, one of the heads that was "fixed" cracked at the riser and washed away a bunch of mulch. I contacted the company and was told that I needed a pressure regulator and that it would be an extra $200. This seemed unreasonable since I had already spent so much money to get my system working. I replaced the riser myself with a dollar part from Home Depot, one that is higher quality than what they were using, and the issue is fine now. After talking to another sprinkler system company they said that the "cut off" risers that they use are notoriously known to have problems and to avoid them if at all possible. When an alternate dollar part fixed my issue, I can't trust the company when their solution was a $200 fix.

I had one sprinkler head that wouldn't come up and several that didn't come up high enough. He replaced 10 nozzles and now it's worse than when they came. Several of the sprinkle heads will not come up now. Instead of one section, my whole front yard is dying. I called and they said I needed to replace my sprinkler heads at $15 each.

Hard to schedule, Tony showed up perfectly, was polite, knowledgeable, educational for what I needed to do to maintain system, taught me how yo use it, set watering times..... did a great job! Will do yearly prevention and any needs with them again!

Overall, I think it went well. They were very thorough and knowledgeable.

Pedro was running later than expected, but he called to notify me. When he arrived he made adjustments to all my sprinkler heads and flagged those that needed replacing. My main concern was a zone I hadn't been using since I had noticed a leak. He systematically went through that zone and found the leak; removed the tree roots that were the culprit and repaired the irrigation line.

The sprinkler heads were not all fixed correctly. Several sections of the lawn are yellow and dying.
