Very helpful. Brought me numerous flooring samples to try in my home and gave me advice on changes to make my house more sell-able.

Wow! She was enthusiastic and tossed out ideas for things I could do on my own. And, suggested a new flooring layout replacing existing tile, vinyl, and carpeting that was fantastic. It replaced all my high-traffic carpetting areas and made my house seem far more spacious. And the flooring she recommended has held up now after over a year of heavy toy use by my grandson. and it still looks brand new. Also, the people and companies she uses to do the flooring, countertops, etc are excellent. They did more than expected just to make me happy. I plan to call her again when I'm ready to do more.

Andrea is a high energy - highly motivated person. She works well to understand your style, your space and the outcome you are looking for. She has access to a variety of sources, and can match the customer with the right product quickly and easily. We were furnishing a newly remodeled house in a contemporary style, and she has been instrumental to our success. Typical work flow with her has been meetings in the house, where she will draw up floor layouts, review options for colors, fabrics and design, and then work off site to prepare additional material for review. She has access to all the big names, and knows where to find interesting and unique pieces that really make the design. I strongly recommend her to others.

She has a very good eye and I loved a lot of her ideas, but the cost of hiring someone to shop and the price of some of the furnishing ideas were out of the range that I could afford to spend.

Andrea was prompt in returning my initial call. We scheduled our appointment, to which she arrived on time. I am unsure of myself in the home decor department and with a company coming this week to start the rebuild, I needed some (quite a bit of!) guidance. She had great ideas and suggestions which helped us tremendously! Thank you, Andrea, for helping to relieve my stress! I can't wait to incorporate your ideas!

I bought a $75 consultation through Angie's list not knowing what to expect for that price. Andrea showed up a little late but had called prior to let me know the rain had slowed her down. She is highly energetic, opinionated and lots of FUN! I thoroughly enjoyed her visit and she was helpful with giving me some Design 101 advice. We have never done a large scale remodel and the process is all very overwhelming. Andrea was helpful in validating some of the decisions we already made and then gave me some practical advice for the next steps. I truly appreciated that her advice was practical and not a way to simply make more money. It is very apparent that she loves what she does!

She came and gave me advice on what to do to our house to prepare it for selling. Her advice was so good that our house sold only 2 weeks after listing it. She was great to work with on a budget.

I found out I was having company from out of state and decided to update my master bathroom before they came. I had about 5 1/2 weeks to get this done. I wanted the experience and expertise of a professional designer for several reasons.....to pick out a paint color, to recommend a painter and someone to possibly install a tiled floor and to take care of details that I might not have time for. My first visit with Andrea was a week after I called her, that was the first available time she had. She was 50 minutes late to that appointment and at least called to let me know. Our first visit she explained to me she charges $85 per visit and that she would also take a look at my whole house and give design recommendations for all the rooms, not just my master bathroom. We talked about what I wanted to do in the master bathroom and that it depended how much the painting and the flooring would cost as to whether I could do both. She told me I had done a great job decorating my house and that I probably didn't need her! But, she looked at her calendar and said the best she could do is come back in one week. I was a little disappointed, but, what could I do? She said she would bring paint swatches and floor tile samples for me to look at. I showed her a wall color swatch that I had picked out and she said that was too bright. Meanwhile, she gave me homework! I was to look at knobs for the cabinets and artwork online and show her what I liked and she would give her opinion. I thought this was a little unorthodox, but I had a time frame I had to work with, so I went along with it. She also gave me the name of a painter and told me to call him and set up a time for him to give me an estimate. I played phone tag with him all week and when I finally spoke to him on Thursday, he told me he was going out of town on Friday and was on vacation next week. When I left a message for Andrea about this, she texted me back and gave me the name of the same painter!?! So, at our next meeting, she called this painter and asked if he could give me an estimate if she took pictures and measurements and emailed it to him. He agreed and finally sent me an estimate 3 days later. The cost of taking down wallpaper, texturing the walls and then painting them was too much, so we were not able to do the floors. Anyway, she brought floor tiles and paint swatches to that second meeting. I had emailed her with links to the kind of tile I liked, but she never got it. (This was before I knew the cost of the painting) So, she brought floor tiles that were not the kind I liked. Then she said she would go neutral for a paint color, but I told her I wanted teal to match the colors in my master bedroom. So, she picked a color and told me to buy a small sample can and paint a piece of foam core and see if I liked the color. I did and thought the color was too gray, she picked another color which seemed better, so I went with that one. The painter finally came after pushing back his appointment by one day because he forgot about a previous appointment he had made. So, he said he would take down the wallpaper on Thursday, texture the walls on Friday and paint on Saturday. He texted me early Saturday morning and said he was not feeling well, could he finish on Monday. I said ok, that was the Monday before my company was to come on that Friday. Needless to say, I was worried. He finally finished painting at 6pm that Monday night. My heart sank when I saw the color, it was very blue, not teal at all. It looked very different from the board I had painted. I texted Andrea with a picture of the walls. She called me and told me to live with it a few days. The next day I texted her and told her it was still very blue, she said she would call me later that day. She called that night and told me she did not know what I could do, that I had painted the board, so she didn't understand how it could look so different. She told me to call the painter to see if he had any ideas because she didn't know about painting techniques! All I know is, if I had a client that was that upset about a paint color, I would be on the phone with the painter trying to figure out what to do to make my client happy, NOT telling my client to talk to the painter. However, she did ask me to keep her posted! Needless to say, I did not call the painter, I did not keep her posted...she texted me about a week later and wanted to know about the paint color. I told her I was going to live with it for now. I will have the room repainted eventually, but right now we just can't afford it. What I realized from my experience with Andrea is that I paid her $160 to pick out a paint color that I was not happy with and to recommend a painter that did an OK job, but was difficult to work with from an estimate and scheduling standpoint. In the end I picked out the knobs for the cabinets, the artwork, the accessories, towel racks and towels for my master bathroom. Live and learn......

She had lots of good ideas and reassured me that I had plenty of space to use for storage. Great ideas for window coverings. Encouraged me to "think outside the box" with creative suggestions. I do wish her drawings were a little more detailed; I probably should have been more specific myself. Due to life's little complications, I have not implemented all the changes and expect I will need to confer with her again.

I purchased the deal through Angie's List for a 2 hour consultation. Andrea contacted me promptly and we arranged a date to meet at my house. When Andrea arrived, we discussed what I wanted to accomplish. I retired recently and have been in the same house for 16 years. I've collected and rearranged things for years and wanted a fresh look at everything. I have a house full of furniture and accessories but needed help with finishing touches. We went through my entire house, room by room. In each room Andrea gave me her honest opinion about what worked & what could use a change. It was so much fun working with Andrea. She gave me a ton of ideas for accessorizing & re-arranging my current items. Some of her suggestions were as simple as replacing the tablecloth in the dining room with a runner and removing some stacks of dishes from the china cabinet. I have already made several of the changes that she suggested. I hosted my canasta group afterwards and my house got great complements. Several of the ladies thought I'd purchased new furnishings before I admitted I'd had help from Andrea.

So far I have been pleased with her feedback and suggestions, plus her access to reliable contractors to assist with painting, floors, etc. She is up to date on the latest materials available, and she observes how I use what I have in my house NOW, to get a handle on what materials will work best for me in the future. For example, she observes how I use my current old mini-blinds, and has shown me new types of window coverings that did not exist 20 years ago. We are still in the "design and consensus building" phase of the project. More to follow when we complete the implementation phase.

She said she's always willing to help out and try to see things that you like. She pleases you and she really wants to go with the things you like.

We found other deals with free consultations so I got a total refund on the big deal. Thank you Angie's list!

Andrea helped me select a backsplash and window treatment for the completion of a kitchen remodel. She is also helping with the slection of paint, door, hardware and lighting for the adjacent utility room. She is very down-to-earth and really listened to my concerns. She was also helpful in suggesting ways to save money. For example, she agreed that the cabinets in the utilty room were of good quality and did not have to be replaced. I am delighted to have found her services through "Angie's List" and will use her services in the remodeling of a bathroom next year.

I was quite happy with Andrea's ideas. She also gave us contacts for our major home issues (lighting is the perfect example). She gave us a contractor's name (no charge) and really gave us great ideas. We look forward to working with her in the future. I will update as we move forward with more interaction and services.

Andrea is a big personality and had many suggestions for our interior design. Ultimately, the changes were going to be far too expensive and I wasn’t really in love with her ideas. Therefore, we elected to terminate the relationship.

I called Andrea and I told her what I was interested in getting her assistance with. She came and we made a plan of things we wanted to concentrate on and resources to accomplish these goals. We communicated often, either by phone or text, and we kept each other undated on the progress. She even managed to get our carpet installed just hours before the movers brought in the furniture. She is a true asset and I plan to use her wisdom and advice for a long time to come. I highly recommend Andrea.

I contacted Andrea approximately one year ago based on her positive reviews on Angie's List. My husband and I were ready to update the interior of our home and I wasn't sure where or how to begin. Andrea arrived one Saturday morning, toured our house, listened to our preferences and said let me help you come up with a plan. That is exactly what she did. We began last summer with replacement of all the flooring in our house. Andrea helped us chose hardwood floors and tile for our downstairs with new carpet for our second story. Andrea arranged for the contractor who replaced the flooring. Everything went very well and our home looks totally different and amazing. Andrea also recommended an interior painter who completed the first phase of our refurbishing plan by repainting our white walls with a warm and inviting shades of tan. Andrea helped us pick the colors to paint the interior. It looks wonderful. The next project Andrea helped me with was ordering rugs to coordinate with my furnishings in my family room, living room, and dining room. Again they look great and it was so easy as Andrea brought the rug samples to my home for ordering. She had the rugs custom designed to fit the requirements of my rooms and the price was equal to or less than I saw rugs for in stores. Andrea helped me choose a sofa design and fabric to replace a sofa in my living room. It hasn't arrived yet , but I know it will look great too! We plan to use Andrea to refurbish our Master bathroom and also our Kitchen counters. I have truly enjoyed working with Andrea. She listens to our preferences and also keeps price and budget in mind. The only thing I would say is that she is a busy lady so you must be flexible when timing appointments. She works around my work schedule but when we have appointments I leave a window of time for her to arrive as she travels between appointments.

She provided great ideas. She did come in with predetermine ideas. She also did not try to completely overhaul everything. She worked with what we had in order to minimize cost.

She gave me some advice like to change the window shades in the bedroom, change the ceiling light globe, rearrange the display of brass candlesticks, and that other things looked fine. She suggested how to fix the cracked tile of one flour and said she would send me pictures, prices and a contractor name to do it, but she didn't.

Andrea was great. Love her personality. She wants to help you with your design needs and questions. She has numerous resources to help. She doesn't want you to just agree with her as it is your house. She walked through the house in order to give me advice on pulling it all together. She looked at pieces I had and how they could be incorporated. She is very budget conscious and can offer tips on how to save money. She explained how she works, her pricing, what is included in her consultations and how to contact her. I am relieved at how little I really need to do to my house to pull it all together. I may not get it done overnight but I will definitley use Andrea going forward.

We have a tendency to pick out things/colors we like , individually, not really planning or thinking how it will all go together. So when we had a shower pan leak in our master bathroom, and decided to do a complete overhaul, we had Andrea come out and help to make sure what we were picking out would coordinate and look awesome. Not only did working with Andrea lead to great choices for paint color, tile, blinds, etc, it also led to a number of great references, not just house related either! Andrea is very energetic and clearly loves what she does. She helped us narrow down our choices and then just kept us in line to make sure our choices all worked together. She gave us confidence in what we were doing, and we couldn't be more happy with the results! Andrea was always willing to chat, or just come by at our convenience. As we move on to other parts of the house to re-model, we will certainly call Andrea for help with our decisions.!

I sent Andrea in advance of all the issues and ideas I wanted to discuss with a very tight budget. She had reviewed all beforeshe arrived at the apt. She gave me names and contact numbers and websites of places I might want to visit. My list was extensive and we reviewed it several times to make certain I understood what I needed to do. The list ranged from colors, to design to specific furniture pieces and hardware. Never would I have imagined I could get some much done for a 79 dollar initial consult.

Great, Andrea is a true blessing to work with giving me ideas and listening to mine. I valued her input!
