Andrea was great to work with. Scheduling was perfect; she accommodated me and arrived on time. She helped me pick out paint colors. I would definitely use her if I need interior decorating services in the future and I have already recommended her to a friend.

Very honest and helpful tips on our remodel plans. I really appreciated the honesty and not just someone telling me what they think I want to hear.

I bought a house this summer and had grand plans, but then one problem after another regarding wiring, plumbing, trees, gutters and downspouts, heating and cooling have taken most of my money. As a result, interior decoration is not an option at this point.

She came out for a meeting and discussed what we were looking for and trying to accomplish. She came back and brought samples of the drapes that she wanted to put up and gave us an idea about the patio window. When it came time to get a price for everything it was too expensive. She was going to come back for a third visit to determine what pattern to use for the drapes. Based on it was going to be over $ 700; we decided we wanted to go in a different direction. Plus, she was way too busy to work with us and would even answer her phone and talk to another customer while working with us, which was unprofessional. We emailed her back and said it was not going to work out.

I purchased the deal for $75 for up to 2 hours consultation. Andrea stayed in constant contact regarding her arrival time. She took her time with me; she didn''t rush through the consultation. I didn't take the full 2 hours, but I'm sure if I needed it, she would have provided it. I got her advice on what I purchased the consulation for and met my objective. I didn't really use her for decorating, but I felt comfortable that she provides good decorating ideas. She was complimentary of the work I had done on my own and did not try and sell me services I didn't ask for. The reason I said I would not use her in the future is simply because we have different types of personalities.

It went well. She did great, and I would recommend her. She’s a people person, and works well with people. She has 25 years of experience, so she can walk into a room, take the furniture you have, and arrange it to suit your style.

Andrea rocks! She is absolutely wonderful. We were looking to do some home remodeling and we wanted an interior designer's opinion on how to handle a couple of situations in our home and she gave us some brilliant suggestions. We are just just knocking our heads on the foreheads saying why didn't we think of that. She is most definitely professional. We had sent her for an appointment, she had warned me that she lunch appointment before that so she would be arriving a bit late and so she called me as soon as she got out of her lunch appointment and said, hey I'm on my way, I may be a few minutes late but I'm still working on it. And then on her way she gets stuck in traffic and she steps in like an hour late but in order to compensate for that the original fee was for one hour of consultation and she ended up staying for two hours. So this lady not only solved some of the problems that my husband and I had been struggling with on how to handle different situations she she made some great suggestions on how to handle them.

She was very helpful. She was delightful in person and I was pleased with the service. On the phone I was a bit nervous she might be aggressive, but she turned out not to be at all.

She provided several good ideas and suggestions, within our budget and style. Even e-mailed us a photo idea several days later. States she is available for phone, text or e-mail correspondence if we have further questions. She's very personable.

went very well. went room by room looking for problem areas, coming up with new solutions and a plan to go forward. what I do like is that she works with what you already have, not wanting to throw everything out and start from scratch. she works with your tastes and preferences and if you don't like what advice she gives, then she works to come up with a different solution.

This was our first experience in doing any kind of major renovation or upgrade work to our house. Andrea is very passionate about what she does and this definitely came across in our interactions with her. She made suggestions, steered us away from some ideas, and was willing to adopt and go forward with some of the ideas we proposed. She navigated the different styles/taste that my wife and I have trying to find a workable middleground or trade-offs. Andrea came out multiple times to the house bringing samples, paint chips, and such as we (slowly) zeroed in on what we wanted. She worked around our schedule and most of the times came out in the evenings. The amount paid to Andrea was the labor and materials for the tile contractor. This contractor does not bill customers directly. All other expenses for the project were paid directly to contractors. She has some arrangement with them to get paid for business she brings to them. One of the things that struck us most now that the job has been completed is the high quality of the subcontractors that Andrea chooses to do the work she has envisioned. I was somewhat apprehensive about subcontractors (we've all heard stories from people who have had bad experiences) before the work was started. However, the subcontractors she chose to perform the work were fantastic. I greatly appreciated the care with which she had evaluated these suppliers and it clearly made a positive difference in the overall experience. For the kitchen we had discussed what to do with the cabinets. We have a lot of them and what we have is probably less than contractor grade. We discussed pros and cons of replacing vs painting, and I admit I was skeptical about painting them (they turned out to look great). We discused new countertop material options, new flooring options, backsplash options, color schemes, style, etc. That process took something like a couple of months. My advice to others is not to rush this planning phase. For the master bath we replaced the vanity, replaced and slightly expanded the shower, put in new tile flooring, and tiled around the existing tub. We wanted a new look without any major work - no moving walls or rerouting of plumbing. Like the kitchen, she presented options, queried us for likes/dislikes and zeroed in on a design. In addition we also had her help us select new flooring for the hall bath and utility room. We appreciated the time she took to work with us. She didn't just tell us to go to Arizona Tile and pick something - she met us there and walked us through options. This was done more than once. The actual renovation work took something like 3-4 weeks. As noted above, the subcontractors chosen were top-notch, did great work, were timely and responsive. The kitchen and master bath simply look great. Andrea came out to check on progress. The job has been completed for 5 months now and we are still very happy with it. We continue to call Andrea about other minor upgrades and changes in the house.

The visit was very productive and Andrea gave me serveral ideas for changes that could be made and I have followed her suggestions. She was very helpful in the selection of paint colors. All the walls and woodwork in the house were a vanilla beige and I wanted a change to add some color to the walls. Having no eye for this, she helped me through this process. I will be contacting her again as I now want some assistance with flooring,

Went very well - She had lots of good ideas and was fun to work with. We looked at each room in my home and she had suggestions and ideas for each room. Gave me ideas where to look for items that I need and color suggestions.

Things went very well, I'm happy with how things were done.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. There were no additional charges unless we wanted to hire her again. She was very nice. She was just a little bit forward. She marched into the house and looked at every room. I wasn't really looking for suggestions on that. There were specific things we were having her come in to ask her advice on. I don't want someone looking in my bedroom. I wasn't planning on having anyone look in my bedroom or my bathroom. Make sure you know what the customer is asking first before you assume. She pretty much gave us a consultation on the whole house but that was not what we were looking for. We needed help about taking out lights and ceiling fans. My last question was about certain rooms but there's no way we're doing all that work.

We are still a work in progress. Andrea has done an outstanding job up to this point. She is the third decorator we tried out for this project and she is a keeper. Some of the work she has done for us includes what turned out to be the most important, although I did not realize it at the time, the selection of a color palate to drive our selections. The major difference we found with Andrea is that she LISTENS to you and uses your likes and dislikes to drive her suggestions. She has come up with a number of very creative suggestions that we never would of thought of on our own. Andrea has a personality that is honest and frank and fits in well with ours, and how we like to work with professional service providers. She took us to the Dallas Market for our upholstered furniture needs and we were able to find high quality pieces at a very reasonable price. Andrea is very skilled and flexible. She has the ability to offer a variety of services to meet your needs.

It worked out great. She was very personable. She came out and checked out everything and had some good ideas. She seemed very experienced and very nice.

I read the great reviews on Angie's list and thought I could not go wrong with such a highly rated decorator. But that's not at all how it turned out to be. Save your time and money and find some good.

Andrea was fun and lively and had some good ideas for my home. She has offered to look into pricing of a stone overlay product for my fireplace, window treatments for living room, kitchen, and a large sliding door.

I liked it that she gave my husband and I things to do as I am learning from that; but she was there if we needed her and she dealt with the things we would have no clue as to what or how to do them. She answered all our questions. All the people she referred us to for the remodeling were great as well. If she was running late due to an earlier client, she always called us to let us know and gave us the option to reschedule if we needed to. Andrea is down to earth and respective of cost concerns. Everything went well. We would definitely use her services again.

Andrea responded quickly to the message I left requesting an appointment. She arrived as scheduled ( she uses a 1 hour window ). Our specific need was advice on replacing flooring and paint but Andrea offered to look at other areas since the floor / paint discussion did not take very long. She walked through our home sharing observations about lighting and décor, offered some ideas for both large and small projects to update / refresh our almost 50 year old house. We talked about topics ranging from lighting improvements to simple things like replacing lamp shades and window treatments. She left us with a list of ideas to prioritize as budget allows. She also shared some contacts for the work we would need. She is outspoken (honest) in her opinions but prefaces them with clear permission to disagree. We agreed with most of her ideas and were satisfied with our purchase. It was helpful to have an objective person with design experience walk through space that we live in every day. She brought a 'new eye' and ideas we had not considered. Andrea is a 'character'. She is loquacious and very 'present' when you are working with her. We found her personality engaging and her enthusiasm refreshing.

I scheduled an appointment to meet with Andrea a week and a half out. We had scheduled for the appointment time to be at 11:30 am. She called at 11:20 to tell me she was on her way coming from Frisco. I expected her to be a little late based on her reviews, but she was more than a little late about an hour an a half to be exact. When she came in she mentioned some type of accident but I knew she was sitting in her car for about 15 minutes. There is no introduction she just starts babbling away. Anyways when it came to do the work Nd ideas I was looking for I was left with the same questions I started out with. Questions like paint color recommendations for each room, how to brighten up a particular area in the daytime without having to turn lights on, best type of decorative pieces, etc.. She basically told me to paint whatever color I won't to paint and only recommended so e beige color for the whole living, kitchen entry area. As far as solutions to some of my questions she told me to just go shop at ikea, container store, I.o metro and to call her lights guy. She also mentioned to never go through a general contractor and go through her but I wouldn't recommend that since there was no clear interior decorating help she provided. At the end I felt like I just wasted money and could have just figured this out with a friend, family member. After all I was trying to hire someone who has a eye for interior decorating. What she seems to know is window valences. I would not recommended going with her and to seek out a general contractor or a more pricier interior designer/decorator.

Andrea was prompt, professional and fun! She went through my house, room by room, and gave me advice on different issues I was unsure of. She even made some design suggestions I never would have thought of. She was very helpful!
