All Trade Pros

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal through Angie's List for this company on 12-2-12. As of today, 2-22-13, I cannot confirm an appointment for a review and discussion of the scope of work. Initially I received an email from All Trade Pros post purchase of the big deal advising me to contact them via email or phone to schedule an appointment for a scope of work. I responded via email, and received an automated response advising me to remain patient and All Trade Pros would get in touch with me for the appointment. I followed up after a couple of weeks via email which resulted in an identical scenario. I contacted All Trade Pros via phone, and when speaking of my situation, was interrupted and advised to send an email outlining the scope of work. I did this and received another automated response to remain patient. I followed this email up with purposed times to schedule a scope of work physical meeting, two times. I have received no response. Although I have PRE PAID for 40 hours of contractor work, I have not received a response. I have not received any contractor work. Therefore I rate this company as an overall D as I cannot speak to their quality of work. I am pursuing a refund through Angies List.

Description of Work: I left a voicemail for the owner around December 13, 2012 to schedule an appointment. He was very prompt in returning my call. The owner told me that he was not scheduling until after Christmas. In the meantime, I told him what we needed fixed. He said it would only take an hour and since our deal was for two hours, find a few more things that might need to be fixed. I emailed him in late January. Once again, he was very prompt in calling me back. In my email, I listed all possible repairs that we needed and asked what could be done in two hours. When he returned my call, he apologized and said he was completely booked for Angie's List deals through the expiration date and said for me to go ahead and apply for a refund. The only problem I had with the service provider was when I sent the list, my intent was not to have all the work done but to have him pick and choose what could be completed in two hours. I was a little surprised that he would not be able to schedule me using an Angie's List deal but could have a "team" out to my house the following Monday to complete the emailed list for around $325. I kept emphasizing that I didn't have to have all the work done, but only what could be done in 2 hours. It was fine that I couldn't use the deal but he didn't seem interested in working with me to get the original work requested completed. I felt as if it wasn't worth his time to fix the few things I needed done but was suddenly available when I needed $325 worth of work completed. It seemed to be an all or nothing situation. Overall, I was pleased with his professionalism, and I appreciate that he was honest about his schedule. Now I plan on finding a non-Angie's List deal service provider that has high ratings to complete our electrical work at a later date.

Description of Work: The projects I proposed to them came back with a quote that I had had quoted cheaper without the 1000 I wasted. they did call me back a couple of months later and I had thought I would try again but the coupon expired before I could get other quotes and decide what to test them with

Description of Work: It didn't go. Called the service provider and was told they will not honor the deal because they were overbooked. They said to call Angie's List to get a refund.

Description of Work: I spoke with a company representative in December 2012 asking to schedule an appointment I was told they are scheduling appoints in my area the 1st. week of January 2013. I waited until Janauary 7, and called again. Have not received a call back as of today 02.13.2013.

Description of Work: I have tried to get a price quote for painting my house from this company twice and no one ever calls me back. Someone by the name of Tracy answer the phone and tells me that Brandon will call me to set up an appointment to come out to my house and they never followed through. I'm done trying with them.

Description of Work: I scheduled a visit to look at my bathroom. They never showed up and did not call until 3 hours after they were supposed to arrive to apologize and reschedule. I did reschedule with the hope we could make it work. The second time I told them I HAD to leave by 3:00. The appointment was 1-3. I waited until 3:15 and then called to see what happened. I was told they had me in their system from 3-5. They were about an hour away and would be at my house no later than 4:30. I had to leave so I could not wait. Just poor planning on their part. I will not call them again.

Description of Work: I was very excited when I purchased my Angie's Deal for 8 hours of home repair or remodeling for $299! However, I had to chase All Trade Pros to get an estimate for the work I wanted done. On two occasions, we made an appointment and All Trade Pros was a no show. After quite some time and when I did finally get someone out, I explained I needed a door replaced on my wood storage shed and two pieces of plywood applied to two sides of the shed. I was told 'they' would consult in the office and I would have the estimate by the next day. When I didn't hear back, the chase was on once again.....When I finally did get a response, the estimate was for $3,500 to replace the entire shed! I had also asked for an estimate to replace eight one inch wood strips between my pool deck steps. The estimate was $599! If I had the know how and the tools, I think I could probably have done this in an hour. In my opinion, All Trade Pros did not want to take my 'small' jobs and they priced themselves out of the picture. Now winter is here and I still don't have the jobs done. When I complained to the owner, he responded that he was sorry they could not meet my needs. And, although I have used All Pros in another line of work and was satisfied, I will never use them again. This was a terrible experience! I saw the response from All Trade Pros.....They estimated $3500 for my storage shed. I had the existing shed fixed for $300. As far as the wood strips in expansion joints.....These were not expansion joints. The wood strips were put in for decoration purposes only. I did receive a full refund.

Description of Work: Ray Carassai & his associate called in advance as I had requested & arrived right on time. We had purchased the Big Deal for 2 man-hours of electrical work. They got to work and quickly got the problem identified/fixed. They took their time to answer my questions.

Description of Work: We paid for a $125 Deal.... but we needed more work done. We knew this ahead of time & requested it. It was not something the electrician added on. He was professional & appropriate at all times. In addition, every single bit of work he did now works perfectly. We had ceiling fans that would only work with remote controls...which we didn't have. We had lights that only turned on occasionally when you flicked the switch. We had lights that would trip the fuse if we used two at the same time. I can't even remember how much work we had completed...but it was a lot. And now EVERYTHING works just fine. We were so happy with their previous work that we are now in the process of scheduling them for some new outdoor lighting issues we are currently having.

Description of Work: The head company guy was nice. On time. Costs were written on paper. Professional. Workers were sweet, on time, and cleaned up. My house is brick and I needed the trim painted, porch, garage, My problem was that the head guy said things like wood parts would be replaced, but they weren't. Some places needed to be scrapped and they weren't--you could peel the old paint with the new paint on top of it with your finger. Before signing off, I had the head guy come by and told him about the problems. His people came by, redid the parts that were flaking and they removed about 600.00 from the bill for the cost of the wood and carpentry that was supposed to be done but was not done. I am very satisfied with the price and what the final job looked like. I think the contractor hired painters he had never worked with before and there were miscommunications.

Description of Work: We bought a Big Deal from them for 6 hours of masonry and concrete service. They redid our mailbox.

Description of Work: We purchased the $249.00 deal and did not hear from this vendor for TWO MONTHS. When they finally called,, they informed us they had been too busy. If this is an indication of the quality of their work, beware of using them!

Description of Work: Bought the deal for 2 days of drywall and painting services for $599. After several calls, company representative came out to location (where we had a list of needed repairs and areas to paint). Rather than start the work, the company wanted to prepare an estimate for all of the potential tasks (whereas we wanted only what we could get for the deal price). Agreed to review his estimate, but he never provided one. Made a couple of follow up calls without any response. Ultimately, had Angie's List refund our purchase price.

Description of Work: They came fixed what I needed very quickly, well and left. I had left over electric wire hanging on front porch from taking down the rails from porch, they cam discounnted the hanging wires, capped them and install a electric plug in the attic for future useage, then they also installed a ceiling fan in my master bedroom at a different location. Great job, great guys/

Description of Work: I bought the Angies Deal for $99.00 for 2 hours of electrical work and an electrical panel inspection. They did the panel inspection, and also replaced a faulty GFI. They were very courteous, called when on the way, and they did everything we needed.

Description of Work: I'm happy their services were not quickly needed. We had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. They accomplished everything we wanted but I believe they could appear more professional and not smell like cigarettes.

Description of Work: Scheduled to install 2 fans. But they charge extra $125 for the room with 16+ ft ceiling. So I had them install another fan at regular ceiling height. It's not very useful, since I could have install the fans on regular ceiling myself.
