All Trade Pros

There were a couple of communication "bumps" in the road, but the work all got done and the paint job looks good. I had purchased an Angie's Big Deal for 16 hours of dry wall/painting (two painters for one full day) for $599. Tracy (the owner) had told me that there would be an extra charge for the high ceilings, which seemed fair. Every painter I've ever dealt with charges extra for that. He also told me that there would be an extra $650 in charges because it would take two full days. I really doubted that, but agreed. Tracy said that two painters (Chris and Carlos) would arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 am on Thursday. When they hadn't arrived by 10:00 am, I called Tracy. He was surprised they weren't here and said he'd call them. He called me right back and said they were stuck in traffic and would arrive in about 20 minutes. When they still were not here by almost 11:00 am, I called Tracy again and left him a message that I was cancelling the work because I didn't have a good feeling about the whole thing --- I was very aggravated about the lack of arrival with no call. And that increased my worries about the extra charges. At about the same time, one painter (Aaron) showed up. He said the others were on their way. Tracy called me back and insisted that he wanted me to be happy and was sure they would do a good job. He told me they would do the whole job for the coupon price if I was worried about the extra charges. So I agreed to proceed. A fourth painter arrived a few minutes later and they all got started. One of the painters offered to change out the light switches and outlets, and I agreed. Once they got started, they all worked very efficiently. The person who was changing out the switches and outlets encountered a problem or two because several of the switches were three-way switches rather than standard ones and he had not done those before. He was very honest about having taken on more than he knew how to do and called his boss to let him know. He then told me that Tracy would send an electrician to finish the electrical work. By 5:00 pm Thursday, almost everything was painted with two coats except two small areas to be done in a contrasting color and the remaining switches/outlets. I spoke with Tracy and he offered to send his electrician out (at a reasonable charge of $125) to finish the electrical work. The painters (two) came again on Friday morning and finished the work. The electrician came the following Tuesday (holiday weekend) and finished the electrical items. Because of the large area to be painted and the need for two coats, the painting did take a lot longer than I had expected. Tracy was quite right about the time required. So, although he did not ask for the extra amount, I paid him the extra charges he had originally estimated for the job. It took four painters most of one day and two painters part of another day. I also paid him the $125 for the electrical work, which I would have otherwise had to pay an electrician to do in its entirety anyway. All in all, I think the original price was ultimately fair, and the work was completed correctly and looks good.

Tracy is very good at managing a multitude of projects and working toward complete satisfaction with the finished project. He is very responsive to calls and inquiries, and checks often on the ongoing progress of the work. His crews are pleasant and trustworthy.

I sent an email to them requesting an appointment with no response, so I phoned Tracy. The appointment was set for Aug. 31st. I did phone Aug. 30th to verify the appointment for August 31st. The crew arrived promptly and began working immediately. Both men were very courteous and professional. Carlos did an exceptIonal job cutting the replacement floor tiles. The regrouting on the wall tiles, and floor tiles in the repaired area is excellent. There was no dirt, dust or debris from the floor tile removal or preparation for laying the replacement tiles, or on the wall tiles after the regrouting. The front yard was also cleaned up after the cutting process. I most certainly appreciated their clean-up, as I have had "bad experiences" with other companies. The water pump replacement was a quick process, I emptied and cleaned the pond prior to their arrival. Carlos knew how to attach the new pump to the existing tubes, etc. I plan to obtain a quote from Tracy for further work I need done at my house. I did not purchase their coupon offer for wall grouting, because the Angies List Offer had expired prior to my being able to obtain this coupon. I wish I had able to obtain this coupon. Yes, I am a senior citizen and unable to perform a lot of tasks I used to be able to do myself Overall I had a good experience with this company and their personnell and I have no regrets with the decision.

We bought a Deal ($299 for 8 hours of handyman services). I called the owner to schedule and he asked me to email him the requested date, work to be performed, deal number and my address. I did that , asking that the work be performed 3 days later. I didn't get an email back, so I called 2 days later to verify that they were coming to do the work. They showed up promptly and began to work. They were very nice and courteous when they were here, but didn't do the full job. They were repairing some cut landscaping electrical wires in the yard and told me that I needed to replace 5 bulbs and everything would be working properly. They left. I got busy and didn't replace the bulbs until almost a week later. None of the bulbs worked. Turns out, the guys who came to my house weren't licensed electricians and didn't fix all of the cut wires. I should have called the owner right away and asked him to come back out, but I had a number of things going on in my life and the handyman wasn't my top priority. I called the owner on 8/14 and left a message. He called me back almost 2 weeks later, saying that he was overwhelmed with the Junkie list deal and apologized for not calling me sooner. When I told him why I called, he apologized and said he could have someone come out and fix the issue and to please keep him in mind for future handyman needs. It was too late for him to fix it- I had given up on him calling me back and called someone else and then spent almost $500 to get it fixed correctly. This company may be good at some things, but they aren't that good at communication.

Terrible management of job as well as such poor quality work, could of used a reputable painter for the same price, cannot recommend this contractor. Very nice owner tried to manage, but clearly unable. Sloppy,work overall.

it took a week to get all the painting, closet, and threshold done, but overall it went very well. The crew was very curtious, and professional. The only thing I would do differently and this is not a criticism of the company just a afterthought....because we didn't own a truck, All Pro's picked up the materials needed for the job. While they did a very good job in everything they purchased, they purchased the items to match the rest of the house not knowing that I was in the process of changing items like fixtures, lights, etc...again not their fault, just a miscommunication error and something to remember for future reference.

Hired to repair exterior brick mortar. Paid additional money (for time) in order for contractor to match the new mortar with existing mortar. There was no matching of mortar and the repairs made are very obvious. Disappointed that after stressing that we wanted the repair to match and paying the additional money for just this task, that it was not done.

It went very well overall and I recommend All Trades Pros to others and expect to use their services again in the future.

It has been great working with Tracy and his team. Everyone on his crew is extremely punctual, professional, friendly and respectful. The change to our house is incredible. We never imagined one company could provide so many different services. It is refreshing to work with a company who takes pride in their work and finished product. Tracy, the owner, showed up early every day and came back in the evening to make sure we were happy with the progress. I am now a believer in Angie's List! Thank you for helping us finally find a professional contractor we can trust. We have more projects in mind and will be calling All Trade Pro's.

iInvolved cuttimg thru brick wall, hanging new door, pouring patio and sidewalk, wiring and installing outside lanterns beside new door. Moved one interior wall which involved framing, sheetrock, and electrical wiring. Retextured and painted entire room.One man did essentially all of the work. He was exceptionally accomodating, very talented, and hardworking. Tracy, the owner was very easy to work with. I could not be happier with the entire experience.Ted

The job was started on time and finished within a week. The crew ran into a problem connecting the new light fixture and switch into the somewhat eccentric wiring of my 1940-vintage house. It took them several hours to figure out and delayed the completion of the job by at least a day. Tracy never suggested any charge for the extra time.The finished product is a huge improvement to the room and to the home. I am very pleased with the job.Please note that the stated price included a $300 Angie's List Big Deal discount and did not include the cost of materials, which was about $400.

I originally called to set up an estimate and they asked me to send them an e-mail. He indicated over the phone he would be available the next day. but asked for the e-mail with specfics about the job and my information. I told him that I purchased the Big Deal and he told me over the phone that it would be more expensive than the deal but he could apply the amount. I never heard back from the e-mail and he never showed up.

Overall, the experience was very easy for me. I'll do much more business with him.

I have a huge complaint about your ratings questions above. My complaint is not with the workers, but with the man I dealt with in setting up the appointment. As far as punctuality, that is not the fault of the painters, but the boss. Responsiveness and professionalism - the F was for the boss, not the painters. My appointment was for Friday, and I took the day off. I had been given the names of the two painters who were coming. On Friday, about the time they were to arrive, I got a call from the boss to tell me they hadn't finished the job from the day before and could work four hours in the afternoon, and finish up Saturday morning. These things happen so I agreed. Friday afternoon, two different painters arrived and got to work. The work ranged from great to messy. The messy is work is the result of a boss sending his "B" team to do a job. They came back and finished on Saturday. Later in the day, I found that the living room windows, old wooden casement style, were painted shut. I called the boss, who offered no apology and seemed annoyed when I insisted on an appointment to have the repairs made. We decided on Friday at about 5 pm. No one showed up, no phone call, no email. I would like some sort of refund for having to do the repairs myself. And I suggest you cut All Trade Pros loose from Angie's List.

- We contacted them by email and phone to schedule the services- We did not get any return phone call or email- Suddenly on a Monday morning 2 people showed up and indicated they were sent to perform some work in the house- We did not have all the things ready to get them started so scrambled and they started working on the job- When it approached 3 and 1/2 hours, the guy said he started at 8:30 when I clearly know they entered the house only at 9:00. I did not appreciate that.- They had to redo a lot of stuff and wasted time because of lack of planning and accuracy when doing things the first time.- They did not even bring the necessary tools like stud finder, etc.

I had a great experience with All Trade Pros - they were able to come out & make repairs on 1 day notice when I explained that I had no hot water heater. Michael & his helper were absolutely wonderful, courteous, neat, & great craftsmanship. Thank You!

They performed excellently. Were able to squeeze me in as scheduled despite of rain which put them behind scheduled. The work was excellent and they were able to blend the new brick with the existing brick so you wouldn't' notice differences.

It has now been over three weeks, and I never heard from Tracy. I think he didn't want any more $299 jobs, and was only interested in selling me a bigger job. I am glad I didn't purchase it. I think Angie's List needs to limit how many of these they sell, because it seems like the contractors cannot get to everyone in a reasonable timeframe.

He answered my first call and set an appointment. He missed it. When I called he told me that it had fallen off his appointment sheet and would show up the next day. He never showed. I couldn’t get in touch with him again. I requested a refund.

The ulitmate job was fine. The coordination and follow-up on the scheduling was frustrating. Waited two. I had to call to see where the repair person was at when did not show 1 hour after scheduled time. I understand things come up but a courtesty call to advise of delay would have been appreciated.

They did a good job with the exception of the hallway wall/ceiling connection. Not bad but not perfect. Theowner also told me it would be another $50 to cover the cost of supplies, but he hasn't billed me and I certainly wasn't going to pay it. I asked for a bid on painting the outside of the house. He looked around and said I would have a bid in a couple of days. It's been 2-3 weeks and nothing so far. The owner was a notch below what I like to see in contractors that come into my home to work.

I had a lot of scheduling problems with All Trade Pros. Tracy called and said that he was overwhelmed and forgot to write my appointment date down. He apologized and said that he would send someone the following Monday. They didn?t show up, but when I called they sent someone over right away. The technician, who came out, was very nice, but he did not have the list of services that I had requested. I think that his workers did try to do a good job. For the job that they did, the Big Deal price was very good, however I would not have paid full price for this service.

They are very clean and hard workers.

They called me today, which was odd. We discussed the work I wanted done, but then they said I would have to pay for a scaffolding for them to reach my second floor. They were going to charge me and additional $325 to have it. I decided to get a refund. They said they will have another deal with the scaffolding included.

If you are looking for a professional team to do work in your home or business, this is the company! Be sure to ask for Michael to supervise the work as he is both professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely be calling on them again, along with recommending them to our friends and neighbors.
