Air Force One Air Conditioning

Process from beginning to end was very smooth. Spoke over the phone with one of their specialist, who came by the house the next day with an assistant. Both looked over the whole house (square footage) and vents. Gave an estimate that was neither the lowest nor the highest, and in the end was the final price. Two installers came by on the set date, very professional and courteous, worked all day. Installed a puron-based system. Specialist and his assistant came by during the installation to make sure things were going well. No problems. Specialist called the next day to make sure system was functioning well.

The appointment-setting was a little harried, but I think a lot of that was Friday afternoon in any office. The ladies in the office were able to set me up with an appointment the very next day, which is unheard of. We received a call notifying us the tech was on his way, as promised. The technician arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions and relieved much of our concerns about the system. It's always refreshing to have someone tell you the "little things" that will make a huge difference rather than the constant "upsell" so common in the marketplace today. The work site was left perfectly clean, just like it was found, which was important to us since it is not officially "our home" yet. You can't go wrong calling these guys; they are awesome!

My appt was for 9am. I was called at 8:45am and told that the workers were on their way. At 9:40am they had still not arrived. I called and was told that they had to stop for supples and were right around the corner. At 10am they finally showed. I called to complain about their tardiness and was told too bad that how the A/C industry is. I asked why they couldn't have told me at 8:40am that they were running late, no explanation was given. Having been in the service industry for 17 yrs. I was very disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend them.

They came out on time and charged exactly what they said they would. They even gave us a small present, which was so cute. It was some sort of a jam, which I appreciated a lot.

The phone guy knocked out the duct on accident and when I called them, they came right out the next day. He gave me some insight on the old ducts that they were no good and needing replaced anyway. I am happy he told me that because eventually I am going to have them all replaced. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and he did a real good job.

I had them come and check the unit and they found that it was a faulty switch, and then they said that it might be the coil. I was uncomfortable with the situation. I felt like they weren't to sure. Then I had another company come and they said that it was a bad switch and they replaced it also, so I am not sure if Air Force One sold me a faulty switch or if this other company was trying to rip me off. I will use Air Force One again if they refund my money that is if they sold a faulty switch. I just am not sure who ripped me off. I know it is hard to tell if a part is defective or not but I want them to be honest with me. They did come in time and did clean up after themselves and were professional.

I'm glad I chose Air Force One Conditioning because they were very thorough and they took the time to ask me a lot of questions about my home and about what I would like. I am just very pleased with them. I was comfortable with what they charged me for the unit and installation. I would definitely recommend the guys to anyone.

Air Force One Air Conditioning comes when they say they will. It doesn't matter if it's a small job or a large one. They're reliable and prompt. The serviceman who came was very professional and neat. He was also a friendly guy.

They do a good job with my heating and A/C systems. I paid for a 2 year agreement and they come out twice a year. The company has usually been good, but the last time I just didn't care for the employees they sent. Both of them couldn't speak English and I couldn't understand them.

After receiving a couple of different quotes that were based off of making many expensive replacements, Air Force One simply cleaned and recharged the system for a fraction of what I would have paid to these other companies. My air conditioning system has worked great ever since. I found this company to be extremely honest and trustworthy. They were also prompt in getting to my request and their prices are reasonable as well.

They are liars and they are two faced and it took them too many times to complete the work. They charged too much and did too little. I would never hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

We had originally called another man who had worked on our A/C before. He was unable to pinpoint a time-window on the day he said he could come, saying he would call that morning to let us know. He ended up coming a day earlier on the spur of the moment. He and his colleague did a very cursory examination and told us we needed to replace our electronic thermostat that was only a year old. We did so and the problem persisted (arrgh!) so we called Air Force One. They were able to get out two days after we called (our case was not an emergency). They were polite, pleasant, and efficient from beginning to end, answering all of our questions. Their diagnostic examination was very thorough and they were able to pinpoint the problem quickly. A much better experience. Danny even admired our cat, which made us like him even more.

Overall it was good. Even though we said we wanted an Energy Star product, they suggested a product with the minimum efficiency level. Only after we said it wasn't acceptable did they find a better product. There was also a $1000 error on our written estimate and we paid much more than we originally planned.

They did a thorough job of scoping out the problem/situation upfront, sent a quote promptly, and responded to questions about the quote promptly. They arrived on time to do the work. The installers were not able to provide a rough time of when they thought they would be done. They eventually guessed that it would be about 4 and it ended up being around 7. That night the office got freezing cold and I realized that I could not turn off the new AC at all. We called the next a.m. A different guy came out and discovered that AF1 had not installed the wiring of the new system correctly and that they had not installed the emergency shutoff (that turns off the unit if too much water accumulates in the overflow pan) properly. This was an issue because apparently debris had blocked a water pipe and a large amount of water had in fact accumulated. He fixed all this and it's been fine ever since.

I was impressed with the perseverance of this company. It was a difficult fix, but they kept at it until the problem was solved. They were neat, prompt, and professional. I think this a good contractor and they are very diligent.

I thought the guy did a really good job. After he hauled off the old unit, it didn't take too much longer to install the new one. After it was installed, he tested it to make sure it worked and did a good job cleaning up. I highly recommend this company.

The young guy with this company does not know what he's talking about. He added Freon and charged us for it when that wasn t the problem at all. Fortunately, they have an older guy who later came out and discovered the unit only needed oil. After that it was fine. I guess I'd just tell others to always ask for the old guy if you are going to use them. He's great and knowledgeable and after he was here, I did not hear another loud noise coming from my air conditioner unit.

It went fine. The price was better than I expected. I was quoted $3,696 from someone else. They charged $2,395 and installed it.

The work was thorough, fast, and cheap. I appreciate the coupon offered through Angie's List for $20 off an inspection. They seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful. It appears that I have 50 ft of pipe in the ground under my pier and beam foundation that according to code and to save wear and tear, should be lifted 4 ft. My inspector and subsequent plumbers I've had out never mentioned it. They have since quoted that job after 2 phone calls at $497. This is where my only problem with AFO comes in. I feel like I have had to chase them to get any information post their initial service call. I had to call twice to get the estimate and which time the female that always answers said she would email me the estimate as well. To date, I have yet to receive the email. I am not in a real hurry to do this part of the job, but for $500 I better not have to chase you, so...when the time comes to do the job..I can't promise that I will use AFO.

I am residential Realtor and was presented with a request to repair a cracked furnace. I called Air Force 1 to evaluate the furnace and they were able to provide me an appointment in a reasonable time frame, evaluated the furnace using several types of tests, repaired a gas leak and verified that there was not a cracked furnace at all. They provided a written report to furnish to my clients as to their repairs and their recommendations. They were careful to wear shoe covers and used a drop cloth to ensure they did not damage or stain the carpeting or flooring. They were very professional and courteous.

I thought they did a good job. I had two or three other companies come to give me quotes, but other companies had higher quotes and were trying to give me the wrong size! I was very pleased!

They did exceptionally well! I called, they provided same day service, they troubleshot, identified the failure, and replaced the unit. We were very impressed with the WHOLE service experience that was provided by AF1AC. We are now customers for life with this company!!! We very highly recommend them for your heating and AC needs. We have nothing negative to report at all.

This was a great experience. Heater was not lighting on Friday but I didn't discover this till evening. I called at 8am Sat, and Sonya said they could get someone out between noon and 2. She called back an hour later to ask if I would like them to come out earlier. Richard showed up and went right to fixing the furnace.

Two other contractors gave us estimates for thousands of dollars. Mr. Sides chose to do some routine maintenance for a minimal charge and saved us a lot of money. He was very helpful, very courteous, and very professional.

We had communications problems before work was done. The office forgot to confirm the date of our service call, and I had to call them about it. The two technicians arrived an hour later than the 2-hour window that the company gave, and their work order did not include the installation of the vent, which the office DID mention to me when I got the appointment confirmed. Another employee had to be sent out with the supplies for that. The coil seems to have been installed well enough, but the two technicians didn't offer much in the way of explanation, possibly because neither seemed fluent in English. They left a piece of PVC pipe in our hall and got greasy dirt on a door frame while handing tools up into the attic to do the duct work. The area around the coil was coated in caulk which doesn't look very good, but hopefully does its job.
