Air Force One Air Conditioning

The person was very punctual and professional. He seemed very knowledgeable and quickly identified the issue and gave me a quote.

They got the job done. Anytime there was something wrong, they would come out and fix and adjust it until it was just right. They were able to e-mail me an estimate promptly and quickly.

2 employees showed up right on time. They worked for 1 hour checking out the 2 units. These men were VERY professional. They determined that everything was fine with the heating system. I did not have a $ charge because I signed up for a complete yearly service when they were out to check my air conditioners. Their pricing is very fair. I know because of the other companies I have used in the past.

It went fairly well. They came out on time and seemed to be knowledgeable. They took care of everything pretty quickly. There wasn't anything that made them stand out one way or another. They arrived on time and took care of it.

They came fixed our air conditioning unit and they came. The price was reasonable and they did a good job. They were clean and easy to work with. We will be using them in the future.

It was good. The technician called to let us know when he was going to come. He was a really nice young man. He worked a long time to get it fixed. He was on time and professional.

I had the year round contract so it was a little cheaper. I felt the technician knew what he was doing. He was very knowledgeable. He was very clean and polite.

After receiving two bids, we found that installation would require a crane to install the same model of condenser that had failed. Air Force One was able to provide a condenser unit whose dimensions are such that it could be brought up through the house and through the trap door in the roof, therefore eliminating crane costs from the job. Three technicians laid down dropcloths to protect floors and carpets and were very professional. Installation took approximately 3.5 hours. After one week, the system was blowing warm air. A phone call at 9 A.M. had a technician at our door 3 hours later. An installation mistake was the culprit, it was fixed and the system works perfectly now. The other company that bid on the job was less expensive, but really unprofessional.

We had a unit that was not properly cooling. We knew it was an older unit, but didn't want to spend a fortune to replace it because we were getting ready to sell the house. The technician tested the system and determined we just needed to replace it. An hour after the technician had left, he called to say he had been thinking about the problem and would like to come back because there is one more thing he would like to check before we replaced it. He came back and found a leak that he said could fix. The cost was mere pennies compared to the cost of replacing the condenser. All is cool and well in the house now.

My experience with them was excellent. They were prompt and had fair pricing. They had good service and good follow up. I would recommend them and use them again.

They were very responsive to our initial phone call and arrived to do the work with about 4 hours. They had the part which needed replaced in the truck so there were absolutely no delays in fixing the problem. The were professional and the price was very reasonable. Nice work!

They were the cheapest and gave me a $20 discount because I was an Angie's List member. They tried to up charge me on the final bill. They were not trustworthy at all.

The project went very well with the service van arriving on time. A small miscommunication between the estimate and execution was resolved quickly with the company dispatching a second van to bring the box air filter an hour later.

AC was blowing moderately cool air. A hose had a leak and the freon needed to be replaced.

It went pretty well. There was a thing a plenum where the air was supposed to bounce around in there, and they said they could fix it, but they couldn't, they didn't tell us they couldn't, I had to ask after it was all done. And they didn't give us an opportunity to look for another way before everything was installed. So the airflow isn't correct in the house. One of our rooms gets alot colder than the rest of them. There was a big box that said do not truck this in, and the guy put that on the bottom of the dolly.

My upstairs A/C unit was not cooling properly. A house inspector told me he thought the problem was that the compressor was weak and that an air filter had been left in the furnace. I called Air Force One (who regularly serviced my units) and they sent Rick out that afternoon. Rick spent a few minutes checking the condensor and said that the compressor was weak and recommended replacing the condensor unit. Since I am in the process of selling my house, I did not want to spend a a lot of money. I asked how much a new compressor would be. Rick called his office and then quoted me $100 to replace the compressor. I said for that price it only made sense to replace the compressor and not the whole unit and he agreed. He told me that his office would email me a written quote. I paid the $79.95 service call fee and he left. Two days later I received the quote by email and was shocked to see it would be $1200 less the $79.95 service call. I spoke with Chester who tried to convince me that I misunderstood and he didn't want to listen. I did some research on the internet and called another A/C company from Angie's List. The technician I spoke with did not think that a weak compressor was the problem and sent a technician out to look at it. After a much more thorough examination (and removing the old filter from the furnace) he determined the unit was low on freon. After the unit had cycled the new freon the technician checked everything again. I was charged $1000 less than Air Force One wanted. I called Air Force One and told them what happened and how I felt that I had been taken advantage of. The woman was very rude, said to me "good luck with the other company" and hung up on me!

Good work; prompt and punctual. I asked the first technician about programmable thermostats during their first visit and the next time that I called, another technician brought several models for me to look at. I appreciated how the company kept in mind that I had wanted to look at the programmable models. No sales pressure, which was good!

The technician arrived when I was told he would, quickly evaluated the problem, examined other parts of the system, and made some recommendations about maintenance I should do to allow the system to run more efficiently and prevent some future problems. Then, quickly repaired the electrical problem.

They were punctual and they were thorough. They did a great job. They are great to work with.

Kevin arrived at 2:30, had the problem diagnosed and fixed in ten minutes or less (bad capacitor), continued with the inspection / cleaning of both systems, and was done and gone by 3:30. Kevin was courteous, respectful, friendly, informative, helpful, knowledgeable, clean and neat. He wore shoe covers while inside and left the place cleaner than he found it.He offered good advice concerning the maintenance of the systems, and gave us a jar of jam to boot (see their website for FAQ)!

They are responsive and reliable. I have used this company for about a year now. I think they are competitive as fas as prices go. I would recommend them to anyone.
