Has been using the company for 3 years/ the maintenance contract is good/ very prompt/ they do same day service/ they are courteous/ job is done the first time/ very clear in explaining what is wrong, don't use complex terms in what the problem is and how to fix it

Technician came out and did a spring service on my two units. One is so old he coudn'lt read any numbers on it. Did his best, but suggested a new unit. The Office Contacted me the next day and quoted me a price on a new 4 ton unit. Checked around and coudn't beat that price for the equipment sold. Scheduled a week later (at my convenience). Install Techs showed up on time and stayed until all work was complete. Very pleased with the work performed, the cost of the install and the responsiveness of the Office personnel.

Technician came for the first visit and claimed he found and resolved the leaking issue on my system. It was too cold outside so a new visit was scheduled for him to add Freon gas. Two weeks after the gas was added, the problem started again and in the visit, the technician - while trying to find the leak, ended up breaking a valve in the evaporator. He then proceeded to tell me the evaporator was the source of the leaking and needed to be replaced. I asked for a quote on the replacement, and never received a call back. I hired a new company that came and replaced the evaporator but with the valve the technician broke, all the gas that were leaked caused me to pay more to get it refilled. Just bad service overall - will never hire again.

That have a very personal level of service. They work very closely designing your system and do a good job at it. The work took about a week and a half. It would have been nice if they cleaned up a little bit more when they were done but that is partially becauseof the construction going on in our home.

Great! Jimmy (owner) was extremely helpful and willing to educate and walk me through the entire process. The crew did a great job, didn't cut corners, left everything clean when they were done and were extremely courteous. After the install, we passed the city inspection with flying colors. Then, we received all of the certifications in the mail a few days later. Finally, a really nice box of cookies arrived as a personal thank you! What a nice experience from start to finish! Highly recommend!

They come out every 6 months and do the tune ups. They came out in November for the heating.

I have a yearly contract with them now. Price is excellent. They are super, very professional. It usually takes less than 24 hours. There was one guy and he knew what he was doing and he was great.

The replacement of the air handler was in a tricky location in my house. It was also a 35 year old unit. The new unit had to be special fitted and connections had to be brought up to code. It was a long installation, but the installers worked diligently removing the old unit and installing the new. The associated condenser was also replaced. Since I live in a 4-story townhouse, the condenser is on the roof. AC Wizard had to rent a crane to get the old condenser off and bring the new condenser to the roof. They were very careful placing the crane and replacing the condenser. They were in-and-out with the crane in about 30 minutes. After all the work was done, the installers cleaned up everything and helped me put the furniture back inside the house from where it was moved so they were able to access the air handler location.

James was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He arrived at our home at 8 pm on a Friday night, which really impressed us, and we were grateful.......it was a very warm night, and it was sweltering in the house. He replaced the compressor, added Freon, and ensured that the unit was working properly before he left.

The technician showed up on time, was very efficient determining the source of the problem and fixed it. He was straightforward and I felt very comfortable with his knowledge. I will definitely us them again.

I am 72 years old and the first thing they did was set up a free standing air unit so that I could get through Thursday night until they could get the new unit here to install. This was a real blessing for me and they called several times to be sure I was doing alright. We were having over a week of 100+ degrees here in N.E. Texas. I was scheduled on Saturday morning for installation but they found a crew willing to come at 7:30 pm on Friday night. Those boys worked until11:30 pm straight, cleaned up nicely and I had cold air cooling my home down from 92 degrees. Thank G-d for air conditioning! Needless to say, I am most grateful and very impressed with this company. I do not know of anything more they could have done for me than they did. All their workers were wonderful including the girls that answer the phones. They were all professional but even more than that, they were caring. Thanks to all.

I have used them actually for some time. The quality of the technician is inconsistent. Sometimes, I get somebody really good and sometimes I get somebody not that good. Some are more knowledgeable than others. They seemed very expensive. I also had some work done by another company because their price was too high.

Got the flyer, called that day, they were prompt and courteous. Scheduled for the next week. The technician showed up exactly when promised with a call ahead 30 mins prior. They liked at the system, did the tuneup and completed work based on additional recommendations to make the system more safe and efficient. All went well. We are pleased.

The heat went out downstairs last Saturday. I called my home warranty company, and they put me in touch with AC Wizard. I received a call back Monday morning at 8:30. I was out of town at the time, but they were willing to meet me immediately. I set a time for 8:00 later in the week. Chad arrived shortly after eight and immediately went to work. He was able to quickly identify that the ignitor on the downstairs unit had gone out. He had the part with him, and the replacement took about 30 minutes from start to finish. He then checked the upstairs unit to ensure everything was still running smoothly. He has very helpful and was happy to answer any questions that I had. I was very happy with Chad and AC Wizard and would recommend them again.

Chad was great. He was courteous and got right to work. I even bought the service plan becuase I was so happy with his work.

Been using this company for 2 years and did not know they were on Angie's List. Their phone personnel always pleasant to work with and go out of there way to assist. There service techs are punctional and courteous being in your home.

The service tech was puntual, polite and very service oriented. He clearly explained what he was doing, answered my questions and provided solutions. I would recommend them and plan to use them again.

Additionally, the guys that come out are always professional and friendly. They are careful not to get dirt on the floors and to clean up any dust or dirt that comes out of their inspection process. I've come away feeling very confident in the services performed, and just have that feeling that you want to have when you have service people out to your house. I'd definitely recommend AC Wizard for any HVAC services you need.

The technician was always punctual and made an effort to keep my home clean. Each time the technician came to my home he repaired the system and got it up and running again. However, each time the technician has come out for a problem, the same issue has reoccurred a short time after. Leaving me questioning whether the underlying issue has been addressed. My home warranty provided me with AC Wizard's services, but given a choice I would not hire them independently.

I called in July when the temperatures were in the 100's. My air conditioner was working just fine, but because it was only going to get hotter, I called to make an appointment for A\C inspection and overall check to ensure everything was in good working order. The response that I got was that they do not do that anymore this summer, and if I wanted them to check my HVAC, that I would need to call back in September for the checkup. I explained that that would be after the summer, and would not do me any good at this time, and she mentioned that I would need to call someone else for the summer check-up service. Needless to say, the next company I called on Angie's list came out the next day and they even stated that they didn't understand why these companies would turn down business/money for these reasons. I will pay more attention to these companies on Angie's list, and if they do not have any reviews, well, there may be a reason for that.
