Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration

We bought a DR table that was damaged in shipping. I got 3 quotes, and all were in the same range. But one thing just felt more professional about Aaron's. My instincts (and Angie's List) were accurate. They were responsive to my inquires, accurate on their cost and timing estimate, and very considerate while in our home. The work looks great.

We were preparing to sell the house and knew the cabinets would be a sticking point. After considering (and quickly dismissing) replacing the cabinets at a cost of over $15,000 we decided to try and have them refinished. What a delightful surprise!! Aarons magically transformed worn, milk washed cabinets into beautiful cherry wood for a fraction of the replacement cost. It was an ultra-professional job from beginning to end! The house sold very quickly. We could not have been more pleased.

They picked up promptly and delivered promptly. When they say that they will be there on a certain day with a time frame, they are. They stripped all of the furniture and encouraged me to look at it before deciding about any staining and the selection of a finish. The person who discussed the process with me was very helpful. I ended up not staining the furniture as the walnut pieces did not need staining, and I selected a matt finish which will help in avoiding tiny scratch from becoming prominent. All of the pieces look beautiful, and I am very happy with the outcome. I would definitely use them again. Whenever I called, people were always helpful and friendly. All questions were thoroughly answered. I liked their service and their work.

They quoted us a price we recall as between $700-900 for the entire job which included pickup & delivery. We were very pleased with their professionalism and quality of the work they did for us, and would definitely rehire them.

Aaron returned my side table three days later and I was so pleased with the result. The stain was matched perfectly and the piece was polyurethaned with a beautiful matte finish that mimicked the original lacquer without the worry. It cleans up quickly and spills and grease are no problem.. Aaron did a great job and I would recommend his services.

They do good work. They work without invoices and by verbal agreement. Seems to work out ok. I was pleased with the work and will use them again.

It's gorgeous now. They did an incredible job. They stripped the aging white paint on the outside and deep red on the inside. They matched the red and repainted the inside and the outside is a beautiful white. They also rebuilt the bread pull down (garage type) door in the middle. The only thing was that I had asked for the hinges and metal handles be left stainless and they were painted. But all in all, they did a beautiful job. It is the highlight of my kitchen remodel.

The service was teriffic! They were always there on time and were very professional in all of their work. They matched the color on the table legs perfectly and the kitchen cabinets are beautiful! I have used Aaron's in the past for refinishing and I highly recommend them without hesitation.

It went very well. Not only cosmetically did it look great, but it has held up for quite some time now. They got the job done in less that a week. They are very busy, so set your expectations for when the work will be completed. They are very upfront with you about this.

It turned out okay. It looks great, but I’m not totally happy with the quality of the foam they put in it.

They had to strip down one couch completely and re did the entire couch, they recovered the cushions on the other couch. The did a wonderful job and I would recommend them whole heatedly. Everything came out great. They are great and wonderful. They picked the couches and bars stools up. It took them about a month to complete the job. They also delivered them back and there were no problems.

It was perfect. Their prices are reasonable. They did it in a timely manner and did exactly what they said they were going to do, and when they said they were going to do it. I didn’t have any surprises.

I had general contractors do some work in my home and they had to move my china cabinet. I explained that it was two pieces and each piece had to be moved separately. When they moved the hutch portion they dragged it across the buffet portion and scratched the entire top of the buffet from one end to the other. The general contractor wanted his cabinet refinisher to repair the damage, but he cancelled three appointments. I looked on Angie's list and found Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration along with two additional companies,and gave their contact information to the general contractor. He talked to all of them and chose Aaron's. It was the best thing that could have happened. They called me, came and picked up my furniture and told me it would take about two weeks to finish. Exactly two weeks later they delivered my refinished buffet. I could not even tell it had been scratched. The stain was perfectly matched. Not only did they deliver the refinished piece, they put it exactly where I wanted it. They also brought the hutch portion back in from the garage and put it together. As they were getting ready to leave, I realized that I had asked them to put it too close to the wall. They were already in their truck but very graciously came back in the house and moved the furniture exactly where I asked them to move it. If I ever need to have any furniture repaired or refinished, Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration will be the only one I call. Since the general contractor is paying for this service, I have no idea what the cost is.

I think they do a pretty good job. There was alot of water damage on all the furniture, and Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration made it look nice and new again. We love it.

The furniture looked very nice when the work was done. They were prompt in picking up the furniture and delivering it back to my house. They answered the phone each time that I called. The company had a misfortune after they picked up my furniture on 5/20/13. They had a fire at their business around 6/14/13. They email mailed me that day and let me know that my furniture was fine but that there would be a delay in getting my furniture done. They had said earlier that the work on the furniture would take around 3 weeks. They had to move to a new location and were able to do a beautiful job on my two pieces. I would use their services again and recommend them. Punctuality was an issue because the furniture was picked up around 5/21/13 and not delivered finished until 7-31-13. However the business had a fire which was not their fault.

I took photos of the cabinets and uploaded them to Aaron's website for a free estimate as advertised. I got a note in reply saying someone will be contacting me shortly. I am still waiting almost two weeks later. I suspect I will never get a response from this vendor. I chose to contact them because of the rave reviews from everyone else and was particularly impressed with reports on how quickly the company responded to everyone's requests for quotes. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. I do not think I will be contacting them again.

I contacted Chad (I think was his name) at Aaron's in May via email to get a price on repairing the chair. I sent photos of the damage. I received email responses quickly, got a cost for the repair and had an appointment set-up within 24 hours of first contact. I arranged pick-up & delivery for an extra $40. They arrived at the appointed time to pick-up the chair. The repairs were done when they said they would be for the price I was given and the chair was returned. The work looks great. The loose leg is completely stable and the chewed finish was perfectly repaired. They also replaced the lining fabric underneath the upholstered part of the chair. The repair quote was $175, $40 for p/u & d, and the final cost was that plus tax. I am completely satisfied with the work.

I dropped a dresser drawer on the corner and chipped the wood. It was not a clean break, fractured very bad. Took it in for repair. They had it about a week and when I picked it up it was very visable where the break happened. Not the quality I expected. So they redid the job, and I picked it up a week later. The second time was very good craftsmanship. I would use them again if needed.

I dropped my old painted rocker off at Aaron's on a Friday around 5 p.m. The guys were ready to go home for the evening, but they stayed to help me with my chair. A few days later I received a call that my chair was finished. It was beautiful! Very nicely restored to the original walnut finish.

Aaron's Touch Up & Restoration was excellent. They were very pleasant and they gave a fair estimate. The work that I have done with them in the past was excellent.
