Nightmarish. Believe the bad reviews. It's taken me a full year to muster the strength to write this, I'm still so traumatized. Never filed a claim, either, b/c had a similar experience as other reviewers! Here's a running list of what went wrong: - Box marked FRAGILE appears to be kicked in - Permanent marker writing on wooden stool in 2 different places (+ scuffs) - Permanent marker writing on white side table - Irreplaceable family heirloom cedar chest permanently damaged (multiple cracks, nicks, wood in all 4 corners has buckled) - Box supposed to contain lamp shade is open & empty of any contents - MISSING patio set (metal table & 2 chairs) - MISSING coat hanger, wall-mounted (metal, numbered 123) - MISSING 2 lamps - MISSING mirror (full-length) - MISSING 1 book box - MISSING 1 LARGE box - MISSING tool box (black) - MISSING picture frame (white) containing vintage French postcards

Worst experience ever. First packing - only one person spoke English and he told me to get out of his way when I asked him to label ONE BOX Special. They forgot some china, a lamp and several smaller items. They charged me for 1900 cuft but the delivery truck had closer to 1400 cuft. The price doubled their quote after a nearly 10 hour day for me when the truck was packed, office closed and no one to talk to and being pressured to sign and pay. My items were moved from truck to truck several times and I wasn’t informed. Then delivery was in a huge tractor trailer not the original truck AND charges for carrying from truck to house because that size truck couldn’t get into a neighborhood driveway!!! These people are nothing more than hiring subcontractors! No accountability and you need to have an attorney read the contract. Moving long distance is stressful enough-they do NOTHING to make it easier. I’m not going to even discuss broken items because they will argue and not care.

"When we initially quoted your move, you gave us a list of what is moving, keeping in mind you only told us about half of the contents that will actually need to move, and we calculated a cost - the quote was for that listing of items only, which was specified. On your move day, we showed up and you needed almost double the number of things packaged and moved. Were we supposed to move DOUBLE the volume for HALF the cost? Of course not, and neither would any other mover. This is why it is very important, to be very forthcoming and concise about what is moving, rather than to list partial details without much clarity. Keep in mind - We told you BEFORE we loaded the contents and BEFORE any work was done that you appeared to have double the load size and the cost would increase. You made the decision to proceed. Bear in mind the crew worked very diligently for you when you were in a bind with having to move in the situation that you were in, and I applaud our team all things considered. AAA was a Godsend! I initially went with a different moving company(TMG) and needed my furniture moved cross-country. I've been apprehensive of movers because I've heard all the horror stories of how movers would charge extra or hold your furniture hostage for more money. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a bait and switch. Not only did I send a spreadsheet with dimensions and pictures of each item, but I also sent a link to my place so there would be no surprises. TMG was supposed to come to pick up my furniture on a Wednesday, then switched to Thursday, and finally arrived Friday. As soon as the manager came, he almost tripled the original quote. In a panic, I called Jason at AAA Moving & Storage to see if he would help me with the move. I sent him the spreadsheet of my furniture and the link to my place. He was very empathetic to my situation. Within the call, he gave me a quote and the earliest pick-up date. Not only was his quote lower, but he also spent the time to explain the process and assured me that I would not go through another nightmare with his company. They arrived at my place and not a minute late. Simon and his team were fast, efficient, and wrapped my furniture in no time. It was the best wrapping I have ever seen and I moved several(11+) times in my life. If you need a moving company in Texas, you definitely want to use AAA!!!!

This company should not be in business. They lost several of my boxes and damaged a lot of my furniture. The said thing is they will take out time to dispute customer complaints, but they do nothing to resolve the problems. Everyone can't be wrong about this company. I wish I had listened before giving them the benefit of the doubt! I am so upset about my move and still replacing all of the missing items. I have tried several times to put in a claim and even that is a hassle since it's only online and the website is down most of the time. I feel that this company should let everyone know that they contract out, so even though they might handle your pickup it doesn't mean that they will be the one delivering. I am still trying to get them to own up to their responsibility and admit that they dropped the ball and don't know where my household goods are, but they certainly didn't deliver them and have no proof that it was. They have proof that they picked up the boxes and that's it. Now, they want to say that I have all of my things and blow me off. They told me that they had other deliveries on the same truck and they checked with those families and were told they didn't have them. That's pretty pathetic!!

"This customers review is false. Their contents were in storage for quite some time. They moved under duress. Anything damaged was moved as is by AAA Moving & Storage. This customer has tried to stop payment on charge card payments with us (unsuccessfully) and this person still has not begun a claim for damages items because there are no damages we caused to any of the items. This person is doing anything the can to not pay AAA for the services rendered. It’s a shame what lengths a dishonest person will go to just to make a few dollars back fraudulently."

Moving company came out and gave us a fair estimate. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. When they packed one item a glass sugar bowl was broken. Ok not a problem minor. When we finally received our items it took away. They use independent truckers and so you wait until they fill up the truck to receive goods. DId not communicate on payment when we receive goods? You needed a money order but for deposit we used credit card. Would not take anything else. When we received goods had damage to almost all the boxes. Their insurance broker awarded us a small amount for damage. A year later have still not seen it. Do not use this company!

"Incorrect (false) info in this review unfortunately. Upon delivery we ALWAYS contact the customer 2 times in regards to delivery and balance due in what forms or payment. This happens when the shipment t is leaving TX and also is followed up upon the day before delivery. We always always always remind the customer how much is due on delivery, and what form of payment is accepted. Always. This is also highlighted and clearly listed on our booking agreement, the bill of lading, the paperwork givin at the time of pickup, and sent via text message if a cell phone is listed. Drivers, crew, sales, and dispatch are ALL AAA employees, and at no time is anything contracted or brokered out to another entity, this was absolutely incorrect to insinuate in regards. We also have no such form of fine print on our paperwork whatsoever. To curb that complaint we have our complete contract printed in Tahoma font sized 13 from start to finish. After reviewing details of any claim filed, you filed a false claim that was denied upon, and no settlement is owed. We fulfilled our every guarantee, and your contents were delivered fast, without damage, and at the agreed upon cost. We wish you the very best and if you’d like to discuss the matter further you have been provided (as all customers are) the general managers direct contact info. We still appreciate your business and we will certainly review and see how much more communication we could include to avoid this issue for all customers moving forward. Thank you and well wishes."

These guys led by Simon were professional, worked hard, and always willing to listen to me and do what I asked. While they were at my house, My plans suddenly changed and I needed to take a piano to a family member’s house. They were willing to do it with no problem. I really appreciate their willingness to do what I needed, even if my plans changed mid-stream. Great work and great attitude.

Jason was very responsive when first contacted. He explained their services and was very helpful in scheduling the move. My daughter after finishing graduate school at SMU needed to be moved back to San Antonio. She packed up her apartment and the movers called before they headed over to her apartment. They were very professional and moved her entire apartment down stairs and into the truck in less than 2 hours. They had extra supplies to bubble wrap her TV and wrapped her furniture in blankets taping them securely. They were careful handling her boxes and nothing was broken on unpacking them. They were communicative and pleasant to work with. I would definitely use them again if needed.

It went exceptionally well. Jason Watt, the relocation specialist, was extremely responsive to all the emails and ready to promptly answer all the questions. We chose them over the competition not only because of fair pricing BUT also because they were among the few companies that carried workers comp. The 3-men crew that moved our furniture and boxes were extremely good and speedy workers. They hardly took any break. They were carefully handling our furniture and boxes. Nothing got lost or broken. They finished within the time Jason estimated. We would definitely hire them again. The moving experience, although stressful, was a success.

AAA Moving moved my house from Waxahachie to Denton and they were excellent! They were on time, fast, and explained everything to me very well. The salesman that helped me set this up took his time answering all of my questions and made it very easy for me to understand. The move ended up costing me LESS than quoted and went a lot faster than anticipated. They were very protective of my furniture and boxes and nothing was damaged. I have moved several times and the communication and customer service here was perfect. I am planning on using them the next time I move and I would definitely recommend using them. 3 A's and 5 stars!
