"When we initially quoted your move, you gave us a list of what is moving, keeping in mind you only told us about half of the contents that will actually need to move, and we calculated a cost - the quote was for that listing of items only, which was specified. On your move day, we showed up and you needed almost double the number of things packaged and moved. Were we supposed to move DOUBLE the volume for HALF the cost? Of course not, and neither would any other mover. This is why it is very important, to be very forthcoming and concise about what is moving, rather than to list partial details without much clarity. Keep in mind - We told you BEFORE we loaded the contents and BEFORE any work was done that you appeared to have double the load size and the cost would increase. You made the decision to proceed. Bear in mind the crew worked very diligently for you when you were in a bind with having to move in the situation that you were in, and I applaud our team all things considered. "This customers review is false. Their contents were in storage for quite some time. They moved under duress. Anything damaged was moved as is by AAA Moving & Storage. This customer has tried to stop payment on charge card payments with us (unsuccessfully) and this person still has not begun a claim for damages items because there are no damages we caused to any of the items. This person is doing anything the can to not pay AAA for the services rendered. It’s a shame what lengths a dishonest person will go to just to make a few dollars back fraudulently."
"Incorrect (false) info in this review unfortunately. Upon delivery we ALWAYS contact the customer 2 times in regards to delivery and balance due in what forms or payment. This happens when the shipment t is leaving TX and also is followed up upon the day before delivery. We always always always remind the customer how much is due on delivery, and what form of payment is accepted. Always. This is also highlighted and clearly listed on our booking agreement, the bill of lading, the paperwork givin at the time of pickup, and sent via text message if a cell phone is listed. Drivers, crew, sales, and dispatch are ALL AAA employees, and at no time is anything contracted or brokered out to another entity, this was absolutely incorrect to insinuate in regards. We also have no such form of fine print on our paperwork whatsoever. To curb that complaint we have our complete contract printed in Tahoma font sized 13 from start to finish. After reviewing details of any claim filed, you filed a false claim that was denied upon, and no settlement is owed. We fulfilled our every guarantee, and your contents were delivered fast, without damage, and at the agreed upon cost. We wish you the very best and if you’d like to discuss the matter further you have been provided (as all customers are) the general managers direct contact info. We still appreciate your business and we will certainly review and see how much more communication we could include to avoid this issue for all customers moving forward. Thank you and well wishes."
