After leaving a few messages, I got no response. I'm not chasing someone down who doesn't want the work.

This company did a great job installing both an electronic driveway gate and a wooden pedestrian gate. They were very responsive and even came back to switch out one of the wooden boards that appeared to have some different colored staining than the other boards. All work was completed exactly to the specification we discussed. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again when I need to replace the fence for my backyard.

From a professional quote to a great fence, 78 fence comes highly recommended by me.

He came out, he was prompt, and he brought brochures. I thought he did just fine.

The salesman said that my new fence would be scheduled within 2 weeks. It actually took 4 weeks.

Contacted them through their website email a week ago. Nobody ever responded. Very poor service. Contacting another Angies List supplier.

The work was fine but unfortunately they were not good at communicating timings. They should have kept me informed when they were coming and when the work will be done. It was only a one day job and they finished it.

78 Fence did a fantastic job! Mike came out to give us an estimate and was very friendly and helpful- he worked with me to find just the right look I was going for. Their workers were extremely nice and everything was done on time and with exceptional quality. It has been a year now and we are completely satisfied with our gate! There ended up being a small gap between the new fence and existing fence so I asked them to come back out and fix it in some way. They came by very promptly (within a day or two) and were so quiet and quick that I didn't realize they'd even come by. I went a week or so thinking nothing had been done, so a little follow up would've gone a long way. That is my only (very small) complaint. I highly recommend 78 Fence and their work!!!

They came out at good time and did the estimate that was all I went for because the lawn care person that I have also does fences and 78 Fence’s bid came in lower than the 2 other that I had to do estimates. Their responsiveness was good. I would use them in the future too.

Overall, they were good. They were responsive, punctual and professional. I would consider using them in the future.

Excellent experience with 78fence. Good communication throughout process - even after some delays and rescheduling on my part. Clear and detailed estimate and proposal. Fair pricing. Stuck to schedule. Work completed as specified in proposal. I can't think of anything negative to say.

They were available for follow up work, warranty work.

Overall my experience with 78 Fence was great. The job went smoothly and as planned. They were all very professional and courteous. Since I did purchase the HiSecurity solar powered operator from them a few problems developed after a few days of cloudy weather. Their prompt response was most appreciated and they worked out a solution to the issue quickly. I will strongly recommend them to anyone who has an interest in the gate and fence that they designed for me. Keep up the good work 78 Fence, you're awesome!

It went well and the work was good. The finish was very good. They were prompt and my wife, who interacted with them, did not have any complaints.

It was a couple of years ago and I can't remember exactly what happened, but they were very professional, competent, and reasonable.

Called for a quote. Didn't get a call back until the 2nd and 3rd attempt. They didn't seem interested in jobs below $1500. Didn't even want to come take a look to see what the job was. I guess that's what happens when you get popular on Angie's list.

The crew was polite. I had some issues with the fence. I wasn't completely satisfied. They were supposed to come on a Monday, and they didn't show up. They did show up on Tuesday in the late morning after I left to go to work. When I got home they were putting the posts in the wrong place. I asked them to change the location of the posts because they weren't where we agreed to put them. I asked them to put in the fence in an economical way so my 2 year old child and dog could be in the backyard. It took them 2 days to do the fence. They put the concrete around the posts and let them sit, and the next day the put the fencing in. After they did the fence, I realized that they left a 6 inch gap between my fence and my neighbors fence, and I have a small dog. When I complained, they told me that my neighbor didn't want the fence attached to theirs and they backed it up further into my property line. Also they didn't tell me this until it was done. They didn't bring it up to me when it happened. Now I had to attach a piece of metal that looks terrible. I was not pleased with them because they were not flexible. Their price was very reasonable.

Great folks - VERY professional - very informative and REAL engineers. I just can not say enough good about this organization top to bottom.

They were great and fast. They were very prompt, courteous and gave me the quote. I chose the other company which was not listed on Angie's List because the price they quoted was $6000.00 and 78 Fence quoted me $8000.00. I would use them for another bid in the future.

78 Fence provided one of the higher quotes that I received but their willingness to discuss details and special adjustments as well as their warranty won them the job. On-site work went well overall. Robert O'Neal was responsive to all questions and special requests. There were some communication issues with the work crew regarding specific details. In the end, all issues were resolved and I am pleased with the result.

They were on the high side but they were very professional. They do other things besides fencing whereas another company I spoke with just specializes in fencing. They have been in business for quite a while. They seemed to know what they were doing but they had a little different approach than another company. They seemed to supervise their work from beginning to end, which is something that I was looking for. They were very responsive and came when they said they would. They didn't waste any time and they were very punctual. I don't think I will use them because of the price but I'm not sure yet. I am going to get several more quotes.

Great! It took a day or two to get the service call scheduled, but the service was completed exactly when promised. Services provided: shorten chain by removing links, cleaning and lubricating the chain and sprockets, adjusting the gate to ensure proper opening and closing position, and cleaning the track. The price was also exactly as estimated. I highly recommend 78 Fence and will use them again in the future.

From getting an estimate to the actual work being done, the communication was great. They handled everything including a cranky neighbor. I would recommend them.

I rate them A overall. I did not go with them though.

One of the boards/slats on the sliding gate had come loose. Since it was warped, it got stuck on the stationary part of the gate and the gate jumped off its tracks. I called them at about 10:00 a.m. and they said this involved a service call costing $161 and they could get there the same day. The service person called me, came on time and started work by himself (the gate was open). I paid him for the work and he left after about half an hour.
