I could not have asked for a better installation. Robert, the owner, came out exactly when he said he did and was very thorough with his estimate. His workers were very professional and got the job completed in record time. I really appreciated the fact that in dealing with 78 Fence, I was dealing with an actual company vs. some guy with a cell phone and questionable workers. When I called his office, I spoke to an actual person (who is GREAT, by the way). I wish I had known about 78 Fence years ago when I had my previous fence installed. I have plans on having more fencing installed on my property and will definitely use 78 Fence in the future.

The price was about $10,000, including the concrete work. I thought the estimate was very fair and competitive. I think it would be a pleasure to work with them. Robert O'Neal, the owner, was very helpful. He asked me questions that helped me to understand the project better and informed me of very useful information. I decided not to go forward with the project because of the economy.

The arm that contains the motor for my electric fence fell off. I had another company come to weld it back on, they did a horrible job (and charged me over $200), it fell back off in 3 days. I had other people come look at it that told me they couldn't get the kind of equipment needed to fix the fence in my yard, it would cost a lot... I called 78 Fence, told Joyce my issue, she said it would cost approximately $150 to fix and they would have someone out that week. They were able to come out, weld the piece back on, they did not require that I was home, they called that night to make sure I was satisfied, then called back several days later to make sure I was still satisfied. Only after we were certain it was going to stay did they bill me.

The entire process took only 3 days, and they came by after to do a little clean up and touch up before processing my last payment. The fence looks absolutely wonderful, and I feel it was a job extremely well-done and money well spent.

They were understandably delayed in part of the work, and we asked them to come back to take care of minor details, which they did very well. Overall, we have been very pleased with the company and the fence.

The work went well, clean up was good. I wasn't there myself at the time and when I returned one trellis was too large. He came out and inspected then sent some of his crew to cut down the size of the trellis and doing some reinforcing on another part of the wood fence. A couple of months later we had one remote that had not been programmed for the gate and garage door. They sent someone out immediately to program that remote.

The experience was really poor, the first appointment was very punctual but after that they delayed the job, neither the materials nor the worker showed up on the days they were supposed to. I made several phone calls just to find out what had happened. We had extra materials that they took and it took us a long time to get them back. They were going to charge me an additional $800.00 to come back and install an additional 5 ft. section. He said he was going to charge me $300 per hour.

Didn't go. We don't give our business to companies that demonstrate such unprofessionalism.

78 Fence was sympathetic to my desire to not replace the entire fence but to patch and save which many others were not willing to do. They were prompt and worked ahead of schedule. The work was high quality and reflected what was promised.

It was good. The only thing we had a problem with is that they hit our gas line, but they got a plumber to come out and fix it. We were happy with the fence when they were finished. They were courteous and they responded to all of our questions. It was the price they quoted.

Robert was very prompt in his response to my inquiry. Although he was not able to be on site right away to measure the fence to be replaced, he offered to provide a draft proposal based on footage and other specific requirements provided, then follow up with a site visit. This was very helpful as it provided us enough information to make a decision. We did not have the work completed by 78 Fence as the price difference was significant enough from the other estimates received; however, we do appreciate the prompt feedback. I was impressed with the company's website which provides many pictures of work completed.

The company that poured the steps did a terrible job; not our choice of companies. It was necessary to put up railings to make the steps somewhat safe given the slope and lack of level with the ground. The first set built was built to the wrong specs; he asked to redo the entire job. The second set failed to fit exactly because of the terrible steps. He had the crew refashion the entire fixtures on site, and did not charge any additional above the original estimate. The final product looks very good. We appreciate his dedication to doing a good job.

Michael Farley was the sales representative that handled my job. From the beginning he was professional and eager to work with me. Originally the company was unable to complete the job before Christmas and the existing fence was not adequate for containing dogs or keeping out trespassers. Michael came out in the rain and added a temporary net fence to secure the pool. When the company's scheduled cleared, they moved my job to the front of the list and finished in time for the holidays. Michael was on-site several times during the work and came by personally after completion to inspect the fence and visit with me. I will be hiring this company again to install more fencing around my 1-acre lot.

We used another company but The Fence Doctor was very professional and punctual. The bid was a little higher and the other company build a lot of fences in our area for us to look at. I would definitely call them again for a bid if we need their services for other work in the future.

I called the company at 11 am on Oct 2 and a sales rep. (Michael Farley) was at my house at about 1 pm that day. We discussed what I wanted, he measured and left. He called later the same day with estimates with and without the base board and staining. I received a written estimate in 2 days and returned it signed with a check for 30% down on Oct 9. I was told it would probably be 4-6 weeks before they could do the work. On Oct 16, I received a call from a Joyce Williams that my work was scheduled for Oct. 18-19 providing the weather was good. A 3-4 man crew arrived about noon on Oct 18 and proceeded to take down my old fence, then put in the steel posts. They finished about 4 pm and left taking away the old fence. A two man crew arrived at 10:45 am the next day and completed the fence at 1:45 pm. They cleaned up and left. I called the office about final payment and was told that Michael (sales rep.) would come by later, inspect the work, and accept final payment. He came.

We are happy with the end product. However, at this expense, really expected we were paying the higher Fence Doctor price for a quality product along with above average service and response. A lot of blaming by Fence Doctor on their internal concrete subcon for concrete issues and delays (still minor issue unresolved), and don't feel that initial sales pitch was accurate (no punch list/final walk through as promised, HUGE underestimate of how long we would be without a fence). You will be happy with final product given you review in detail the project on daily basis, identify all quality issues and persistently followup for response to fix. In hindsight, would not have paid all of cost up front (and forgo 3% discount), needed some leverage for better response.

Contacted Fence Doctor from information on Angie's List. Their project manager, Michael, came the next day. He took measurements, discussed what we wanted with regards to appearance, materials, changes and improvements. Michael and the owner of the company came the next day to review our requirements for the work. Within 24 hours they sent by email a detailed proposal with a statement of work, construction plan, diagram and estimated costs. After comparing the four estimates we had received from fence contractors, we chose Fence Doctor to do the work. Michael presented a contract which we signed 6/6/7. At our request Michael brought samples of fence materials, stains and paving stones. We made our selections and the work was scheduled to start 7/5/7. The actual start of work was delayed twice because of rain and acquiring materials (bricks for the columns which match the house). The work was started on 7/13/7 and completed on 8/7/7. All of our objectives were met or exceeded.

They arrived on the day promised and Guillermo, the foreman, was pleasant, helpful, courteous and easy to work with. Very knowledgeable! An A+. They finished as promised, even with a brief rain. The fence exceeds all expectations. However, after reading other reviews I did not receive the 3% discount for cash or check.

I found the price to be very reasonable considering the size of my backyard. They were very professional at what they did and I'm very happy with how my fence looks. I guess they came in time and when they didn't it wasn't their fault as they told me so I'm pretty much happy with their professionalism level because they were on time and friendly.

I was very happy with the Fence Doctor. The job was finished on time and they were out the day after I called them. I think they have very good customer service and will recommend them to others.

Michael came to look at the fence and tell me what needed to be done. He gave us an estimate and he answered all the questions I had, too. He mentioned it would take them 3 weeks to start work, and it almost did. But once they started, they completed in 2 days. His estimate was off a bit but work is very good and I am very satisfied with the results.

Arrived within a day to provide estimate. Showed up sooner than they had originally indicated to actually do the work, which was a bit inconvenient but not a major issue. Work was completed as promised.

Everything that they have ever done has always been fantastic. They have worked on a few properties of mine and they are respectful with everything. They answer all of my questions and the quality of the work is phenomenal. He does a great job and I am always pleased.

I was quoted a charge of $50 for The Fence Doctor to provide an estimate. I was then quoted a minimum charge of $400 for a repair. I feel that these fees are high, given the amount of repair work, I need.

They were fairly responsive initially, and I got a quote pretty quickly. Once, I decided to use them, they were able to install the fence within a couple of weeks. Michael was the salesman, and at times he was hard to reach by phone, which was frustrating. I wasn't kept informed, as to exactly when the crew would be here both days, so I had to call the office. The workmanship seems excellent, and the crew that did the installation was very professional. The gate seems very sturdy and the fence looks great.
