I did not know when the work was going to be done because Yardmasters said they would be very busy in the month of April. I was surprised to see 3 guys laying out in my yard on Saturday afternoon, as I wasn't expecting them to do the work that day (I was told it would be later in the month). The guys spent an hour and a half on the work and did a really good job. They were fast and cleaned up afterwards and the yard looks great. Yardmasters charged $70 for every cubic yard of mulch and the guys used 3 yards. I was told this would be the price up front, but what shocked me was the charge for the bed cleaning - $210!! This is $70/worker for cleaning the beds. I was expecting to pay less for this. In the future I will make sure I understand all the pricing involved, but I think that I will go with local individuals whose prices are substantially lower than Yardmasters.

Lawnmasters show up when they say they will show up and do what they say they will do. I've had local services in the past that have been unreliable, but so far Lawnmasters have showed up every time without a problem. They are a little more expensive than local contractors but they are more reliable.

The person who came for the initial appointment came on time. He was very personable and spent plenty of time with me. They showed up with the crew and got the job done in one day. The outcome of their work was beautiful. We had lot of overgrown bushes and weeds. They cleaned up the flower beds and re-did the shape of the flower beds. They take good care of my yard. I was very happy with their work.

They were very responsive when I emailed them for a quote and the price was good at $27/week for front and back.They have come out every Friday as promised always around the same time and do a great job on mowing, trimming and clean-up. And they are fast also. The crew is always friendly.I recommend them highly.

They laid out three yards of mulch in my front flower beds and planted a new bush. I had used them previously a couple years ago and I liked them a lot. I have never had a problem with them. They came when they said they were coming. I've always had good dealings with this business in the past couple years and this experience was no different.

The initial contact was good, but almost a week AFTER they performed the service the company tried to charge almost double for it (from $30 to $55). The company claimed they needed to charge more because it was a corner lot and they felt it was overgrown. They did not ask any questions before they quoted the lawn and tried to change the price after the fact. They should have either asked the right questions upfront or called me before they did the lawn to verify the additional charges were ok. When I inquired about the price change AFTER the work was done, they responded that I should find another lawn company if I was not ok with them changing the price.

They came each week even though we had a lot of rain during this time and they did a great job. My yard looked nice when I returned.

Hired Yardmasters for initial bi-weekly lawn maintenance. We should have known by the cheap price, we were in for trouble. From the very first service, it was less than mediocre, it was just plain poorly done. My husband and I being as busy as we are, just continued to use them simply because we had not the time to look for another service right now. They failed to fully complete the entire yard leaving for weeks a patch of grass uncut that was nearby our patio, for what reasons I do not know. They never made any effort to do anything further to beautify the lawn, they did not leave the driveways and patios free of debris, nor did they ever trim hedges or anything even after asking. Yardmasters, handsdown was the worst experience we have had with any lawn service provider. Having said that, for this reason we refuse to pay the invoices to their company and have hired someone else. What is sad is that we found them here on Angie's List.

We contacted this company to do regular lawn maintenance. We originally called them because they were a local company, and had a good rating on this list. When they came out to do the initial estimate, they only left an estimate for a more comprehensive service that we did not need. So we called other lawn service companies but had no luck finding a company that serviced our area (we are in a new development). We called back Yardmasters and asked them if they had a "basic" service. They said they did, though the price they quoted seemed somewhat high. The fact that they did not tell us about this basic service option in the first place should have been a clue to us. We agreed to start service with them that week, hoping they'd be worth the price, since they were rated well on this site. They then did not show up for three weeks! When we called to complain, the woman said they best they could do was start a crew here a week later. They did not seem to care about correcting their error.

They always do an excellent job. Mowing, edging, trimming and clean up takes place in less than half an hour. These guys are keepers!

I called Yardmasters and they sent somebody over the next day to take a look at what I needed. They sent me an estimate the next business day and after a few adjustments to the plan, I had them perform the work. The overall work was pretty close to what I had in mind, but I couldn't really complain about the differences, since I hadn't given them a diagram. My only minor complaint is that they didn't completely clean up the dirt from the sidewalk when they had finished.

I am very surprised that a business is on this list when they treat customers in this manner.

I would highly recommend them. I never saw anyone sitting around. They worked the whole time and they were always on time. If they said they would be here, I trusted them. They did very good work, I believe.

Yard Masters did a beautiful job on my lawn. They transplanted plants, planted new ones, put in a new drain, rearranged the rocks and pruned some trees. I am happy with the job they did. They showed up on time, worked in the rain and got my lawn done in three days. They were polite, professional and I would highly recommend them.

Yardmasters did an excellent job with everything they did on the lawn. It looks greener than ever before. The sprinkler system always turns on and off as it is supposed to and the jets are not clogged. My flowerbeds have beautiful blooms now and the weeds are scarce. Their manners were also outstanding. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this kind of yard care very often. It is extremely expensive.

I have them come out every week and mow my grass. They do a great job, and they are always on time. They also have done a stone extension on my driveway and re-soded the back yard. They also do same day service. The employees are very professional and are always open to suggestions.

Yard Masters does a pretty good job with landscaping. The flowers that they had planted are still doing well. Some of the shrubs are still doing well too, however, we had to replace a few because they got stressed during the summer. They offered us a cheap rate to do the replacement of the shrubs, however, we found some other shrubs for cheaper so we went with them. They did a good job at cleaning up after themselves.
