Very sorry that we don't do wall paper. We were not aware that Angies List had us down as doing so. We will get this corrected asap. Also, we do know of someone who does do wall paper. If you would like that information please give us a call back and we will share that information.
very nice job, their subcontractors (tile, plumbing and electric), were all great. Not the cheapest, but first class work.

We hard carpet installed by these people a few weeks ago at which time we had a large window measured for wooden blinds. We paid cash upfront and had the downstairs measured for stone or ceramic flooring to do this month. Well after waiting a couple of weeks I had not heard from anyone regarding the blinds so Yesterday I drive up to their showroom to see what the status was. My salesman was out so I asked for help. The ladies behind the counter suggested that I check the large box laying on the floor and sure enough it had my name on it. That's all they knew. No telling how long it had been there because no one ever followed up with my order. I asked for someone to call me when they figured it out. I never got that call. I called the store today and spoke to an Evon (spelling?) and asked to speak to the owner or a manager. She asked who is this? I repeat my question. She says "I'm not sure I want you to speak with her...now WHO IS THIS!?" Enough for me. I'll never spend another dollar with these people. It's a shame that a business is at the mercy of one rude employee but there are plenty of flooring stores in this area where I can spend my money. I'm still waiting for the carpet job to be completed. It's been weeks and the carpet in the closet is just rolled up. I guess I'll need to hire another company to finish what I have already paid Keystone to do.
Description of Work: I had carpet laid upstairs, ordered a large wooden blind and had the downstairs measured for stone or ceramic tile.

This blind in question had arrived the very day Mr. [Member Name Removed] showed up to inquire about it and we told him this. His salesperson was givin a message to call him when he returned. The next day when he called again, since his sales person had not yet arrived in the office, and asked to speak with the owner/manager he would not give his name and was very rude to our operator. Once he gave his name he was transferred to the manager. All the work was completed. He never expressed any dissatisfation of the quality of work, we got the work completed in a timely manner. The carpet in the closet was delayed because HE wanted to install baseboards. Once he did that we completed the carpet installation. He agreed to all pricing before any payments were received. It's unfortunate that he had a bad day and felt the need to be rude and write such a negative review. We hope him the best and stand by our work and staff.

We did not find this company from Angies' list. We were shopping for carpet last fall, and when the sales woman knew that we had a remodel project, she eagerly offered to help. Although I was hesitant and not sure about this company, we decided to try work with them due to the their eager attitude and our time constraint. Their price was high due to the carpet company adding an extra layer of charges for their subcontractor's work. We had a reputable plumber that we wished to use, but. when he could not meet their schedule, she told us over and over how good Rupert, their plumber, was. That was why we were surprised to see their sloppy work. First they made a huge mess on our new floor due to zero preparation work on the floor which is a basic professional practice, and then they broke our cabinet due to their careless and unprofessional attitude. Please see the PICTURES. Second, after their demolition charge was quite expensive, they claimed that it included the sheet rock replacement work. Their sheet rock work very poor and unfinished. Please see the PICTURES. Now they refuse to repair the broken cabinet and would not give us the company's name that did the plumbing job and did the damage. During the demolition work, we found that some of the sub-floor under the old tile was rotten and needed to be replaced. Their crew from the demolition work "repaired" the floor by replacing only the portions of the rotted boards that were between the joists in the middle of the room leaving three rotten boards next to the wall. When we complained about the unfinished work, they said that it was a big job and would cost $400 extra for the three boards. My husband said that was too much and did the work himself at a material cost of $24.

Description of Work: I hired Keystone to lay new carpet throughout my house, as well as having a floor plug installed in the living room. I dealt with Rick at Keystone who was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt they did a beautiful job on both the carpet and floor plug (which was sub-contracted by Keystone). I would definitely use them again.

The carpet was installed by Keystone in the timeframe we had and it looks really good. We are very happy with the quality of the carpet and padding as well as the professionalism throughout the process. Keystone will be my 1st call for any future flooring needs.
Description of Work: We purchased a new house and need to have the carpet replaced prior to moving in. We checked with a few flooring companies we've used before and unfortunately they were not able to provide the material we needed in our timeline. I called Keystone and everyone I spoke with was helpful and went above and beyond to obtain the exact carpet we wanted in the timeframe we had.

The subcontract crew arrived at 8:00 a.m. on the dot on a Wednesday and immediately started to work. Rick Taylor, who is the manager with Keystone came by to check on everything and make sure we were on the same page shortly after they arrived. Since they would be moving two fairly large floor-to-ceiling bookcases, we had boxed all the books the night before to make sure everything was boxed appropriately for each bookcase, but the crew moved all the rest of the furniture. The job took three days, during which time, the work crew did a great job of leveling all the exposed concrete floors, before putting the new laminate down. It was a big job, but they worked like Trojans, getting everything completed by about 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. While we did discover a couple of small items got broken during the process, we consider that our fault for not securely packing everything away. The workmanship was excellent, fast and affordable. We had checked out other flooring providers, including Floors for Living in Cypress and very nearly got majorly ripped off for a few thousand dollars. It took almost a week of calls to get our $1500 . 00 deposit refunded. Floors for Living was almost $4,000 more for the same job using a lesser quality flooring and wanted to charge us an additional $2.50 per linear foot to install our baseboard, once they decided they would even do it. Rick Taylor, who has been with Keystone for over twenty years, is GREAT and doesn't try to up-sell. As a matter of fact, when we made our initial selection, he showed us the same thing and same quality in another brand that saved us at least a thousand dollars, if not more. We are definitely looking forward to having our bedrooms done in the near future and will go straight back to Keystone when we're ready. They also do other types of remodeling, such as counters, backsplashes, etc. and their selection is fantastic!
Description of Work: Rick Taylor met with us at Keystone, then came to our house to measure and give us a quote. We went back to Keystone to make final selections with Rick's help. The man has GREAT taste and makes excellent suggestions based on the unique qualities of the areas being remodeled. Removed old carpet in 3/4 of the house (den, formals, halls) and removed old original sheet vinyl from kitchen/breakfast rooms. Everything was replaced with excellent quality laminate wood flooring. Also installed and stained custom baseboard which we supplied (at NO COST), and they replaced the original terrazzo tile in the entry with marble tile. Moved all the furniture and removed all debris from the property.

The new carpeting is not satisfactory because it shows tracks so badly. It of course shows tracks from vacuuming and foot prints, but it even shows individual cat paw prints. When I started shopping I told the salesperson we didn't want to spend a lot of money because we're updating in order to sell the house. Keystone was very accommodating in that they came out to discuss with me why I was dissatisfied with the carpet and offered to replace (with installation charge) the carpeting. I declined, not wanting to pay still more for a product that we hadn't wanted to spend alot on in the first place. They tried to make me believe that all plush carpeting shows tracks unless you get a carpeting with a pattern or carpeting in which there is a variation in the shading. I don't think they should even offer this carpeting for sale in their store. The installers were fairly professional, although they dripped some of the glue on my tile floors and left some trash around.

In todays busy lifestyles customers are driven for flooring that is virtually maintenance free. Shaw is the largest manufacturer of flooring in the United States and has incredible warranties on their products. This product has a fantastic LIFETIME SOIL, STAIN and PET URINE WARRANTY, 20 YEAR WEAR, NO WRINKLE and TEXTURE RETENTION, 30 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE, as well as the WARRANTY is TRANSFERABLE. This product does not shed and has a incredible upgraded backing. In the flooring industry it is now a very common saying that " IF IT IS NOT SOFT IT WILL NOT SELL", so 90% of carpeting now is soft to the touch. This Shaw carpeting is an incredible product at an even better price point.Innovation is awesome, and the carpet looks fantastic.

My biggest complaint about this company has been their lack of concern since I wrote them the check for the floor. Although the original installation had problems that I brought to thier attention during the installation that eventually resulted in thier replacing the floor completely, once they got thier money they wouldnt even return our calls. Twice, over a month went by before I could get any type of response at all from them. The first time I had to confront them in thier showroom; the second time, they only returned my call after I left a message informing them that I had consulted a lawyer. While they did replace the original floor at no cost to me, I still have to replace the trim around my fireplace and the wires to my surround sound system that they shot nails through. I could continue to push them , but seven months after this began, I have no confidence that they would ever get it right. I'm cutting my losses and moving on.

First, we had a discussion with them about the type of carpet to use in two rooms in our home. One was a living/family room and the other was an in-home office. They showed us samples for each and had a large number to choose from. We took samples home with us to check out the right colors. Then they came to our home and measured up each room and then calculated what the cost of each would be for us including rug pads and installation. The price seemed very good, so we told them to go ahead with our order. They received the rug for the office about a week later and called and set up a time to install it. The other carpet was received by them about 3 weeks later. They installed it within a day or two. My opinion is that the quality of their products and service is excellent. The installation was done flawlessly and they kept us updated frequently throughout the whole process. After the rugs were installed, they called to see that we were satisfied with them. We couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

At Keystone's prompting, I called Anderson's 800# and was instructed by them to work through my installer, Keystone. Because the floors were still under warranty, Keystone said that it would be a waste of their time to send their person out for an estimate before the floor manufacturer, Anderson, came out to see them and rule on warranty work. Keystone promised to get the Anderson rep to my house sometime the following week. I never heard anything from anyone the following week. So when I called Keystone for an update, they said that Anderson's rep hadn't called them back. So, only at my request, Keystone called the rep again promising that they'd get back to me. Again, after 4 days, I didn't hear from them so I called them again. This cycle repeated itself several times over 3.5 weeks. I decided it was time to speak to Keystone's owner, Shermaine. I left three messages for her but she never returned my calls. When I finally got her and introduced myself, she cut me off and said, and quot;I could come out there but you're not going to like what I have to say.and quot; I couldn't believe what I was hearing! At my insistence, Shermaine reluctantly made an appointment to come out and see the floors but I cancelled it the day of. By her own admission, Shermaine had already made up her mind so I didn't want to waste my time. OK--so this is the real point I'm trying to make...my floors probably wouldn't have been covered under warranty and I'm not ignoring Anderson's lack of follow through with Keystone. But I had to work with Keystone on the warranty question before I was willing to pay them for refinishing the floors. The only way I could be sure of that was with Keystone's working through it with Anderson. Keystone's lack of follow-up and its owner's belligerent attitude made it clear that they weren't really interested in helping me. Over the years since my floors were installed, I've referred lots of people to Keystone but now that I've experienced this other side of them, I'll be warning people against them instead. They were all smiles and homey warmth when I was buying the floors from them but the opposite when I needed their help. I told Shermaine the outcome of having to pay for refinishing wasn't as disappointing as her belligerent and negative attitude and Keystone's overall lack of follow-up. She apologized and said, and quot;we're only humanand quot;. Maybe so but this human's going somewhere else for her refinishing job.
Description of Work: On April 16, 2012, I called Keystone to get an estimate on refinishing my hardwood floors that Keystone had installed 8 years earlier. I found out that they were still under warranty and therein lies my tale of disappointment with Keystone (see below).

We had a little flood. We contacted them at about 3:00, and they sent a couple of guys out at 5:30 the same evening, and I think it was a Friday too. They were quick - the guys did the work in less than an hour. They were honest and fair in their price. They were very prompt in their response - we told them how much we needed the service because our carpet was wet and smelling. They cleaned up after themselves and took with them the padding that was damaged. We would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
Description of Work: We used Keystone Carpet & Interiors to replace the carpet padding in the living room and the hallway.
The overall performance of everything was exceptional. They came out in a timely manner to do the work. Everything was completed within two weeks. All of our furniture was moved quickly but with care. They were clean and neat as they carried on with all of the work. Everyone was polite and courteous.
Description of Work: We had a backup in the plumbing of our main line for the commode. One of our toilet overflowed and ruined 1300 sq. ft. of existing wood flooring. We had 5 rooms of flooring replaced with the new wood. Keystone went above and beyond the services that were expected from a flooring company. They were able to provide additional services such as refacing the fireplace and creating a wood step on the bottom of our stairs to replace the one that was carpeted.
Keystone Carpet and Flooring team did an outstanding job in putting engineered wood flooring in the large part of our house. We had a very positive experience from the start. RIck is probably one of the best sale people we ever met. He listened very well to all our needs and helped us to narrow down on the types of woods we might enjoy. He showed commendable patience when on one occasion we spend nearly 2 hours in the store making final selection of the flooring woods. Our experience was equally positive with the team of the installers. They delivered an outstanding product while always finding ways to incorporate our suggestions and discuss options. They did not rush through the job and focused on quality. They made sure that we really like the final result. We highly recommend considering Keystone for your flooring needs and we will definitely use them for our flooring in the future.
Description of Work: Installed hard wood floor downstairs and upstairs (ca 2000sq. feet) and replaced carpet to hardwood on the stairs. Refinished and stained the hand rails to match the wood on steps.
We got several bids and their bid was competitive. We like their professionalism and their selection of products. That all together made us choose them. The guy who came out to do the installation was excellent.

We are thrilled with the products we selected; both the engineered wood and the sculpted Berber carpet. The installers were excellent. The carpet installers were able to complete 2 bedrooms and a hallway with one piece of carpet; and they covered the master bedroom, bath and closet in one piece. There are literally no carpet seams. The wood installer was amazing; one man did the complete installation in 11 hours, including moving and replacing furniture. Both installers were clean and removed all trash. The project, however, was not without disappointment. Our salesperson, while personable and enthusiastic, required prodding at every stage. On the occasions of both appointments we had to meet with her at our home for measurement and final inspection, she was late after we had made arrangements to be away from work at the scheduled time. Carpet installers left a small grease spot on the carpet and she promised to send someone to spot clean it. We still haven't heard back.
