Joe the Plumber

Our old galvanized pipe sprang 2 leaks overnight and we awoke to a wet kitchen. I first called a company whose initials are J.M. and they advertise heavily on t.v. A tech came out, looked at my ceiling and told me it would be $2100 to fix the leak or $14,000 to re plumb the house with Pex. He used a very pushy sales tactic, telling me that he could start the next day, but I had to sign the contract now. I told him "no thanks". That's when I subscribed to Angie's List and found Joe The Plumber. I called and spoke to Sylvia who was very helpful. Within an hour, Rick came out. He said he could fix the leak for $300, which he did. Unfortunately, another leak sprung up when we turned the water back on. He fixed that one as well, but I was concerned about this happening when I wasn't home. Being a Master Plumber, Rick educated me on Pex pipe, describing the pro's and con's of a re plumb. He said that he could re plumb the house for about $8000 and could start the next day, but there was no pressure. For peace of mind, I decided to have the job done and felt comfortable having Rick do it for me. He was very methodical, professional and paid attention to detail. Once completed, we had a couple of minor drips, which he said we would possibly see, and he came out without issue to fix them. Kind of like a mechanic, it's good to find a plumber that you trust. I have nothing but a stellar opinion of this company and Rick, in particular. Also, their customer care person Sylvia was very polite and responsive. This is a top notch outfit. I am happy to scratch "Find a Plumber I Trust." off of my list of things to do.

Excellent! Rick was prompt, thorough and we felt he was very knowledgeable. He even lowered the price to do a slightly different repair. We would have never known it should cost less when we changed to a second option and they could have kept an additional $400. Rick even came back and recessed the value at no additional charge. Excellent customer service.

Nothing goes smoothly...Nancy--a family member-- project was done well. Took a bit longer than expected, but in retrospect, it would have been shortened minimally. Neither of us understood the complexity of the problem. I continue to use this firm at my own home and rental house. They are very professional.

The plumber was on time, professional, explained in detail and worked with me on pricing.

Professional...arrived before appointment time and returned the following morning to go up the attic and get me the model & serial number so I could register it with the manufacture

I feel the price was too high. He was friendly. He said it would take some time to do the job. He said it would be very slow. He gave me a quote that was too high. He arrived when he said he would and he was very professional.

They came quickly and did a great job.

They are extremely efficient and came within three hours of my calling them. Very professional, courteous and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them and would call them in a heartbeat for any other issues that may arise.

Called Joe the Plumber based on Angie's List reviews after guest room toilet tank cracked and flooded several areas of my home. I needed new toilet installed. They were responsive and prompt. While here I asked the plumber to install a new kitchen faucet, which he didi after a quick run to the office to pick up two faucets for me to select from. He also checked a leaky bathroom faucet. Plumber was professional and hard working. I am very pleased with the products provided and the service/installation. Joe the Plumber will be my plumber of choice should I need plumbing services in the future.

Mr. Joe Villareal had a crew to our home within an hour of a call on Saturday afternoon. A second truck came when the first truck did not have the size bib needed for the repair, and to also assess another potential outdoor plumbing issue. All three employees who came, including Joe's son, where extremely polite and professional. Thanks to Joe and all.

We were afraid that tiles would have to be replaced on the floor but Matt did a very careful job with the jackhammering. Everything looks great.

He arrived on time as promised, performed the work quickly, and was very nice. I will use them again.

Overall went well! I called them close to Noon on Saturday with an issue with one of the bolts holding the toilet where I couldn't get the nut off to finish removing the old toilet. I had 3 choices, continue with trying to resolve the issue myself or have them come and cut the bolt and let me finish installing the new one or have them remove and install. I went ahead with the last option since they were already here and did come pretty last minute. He was here only about 1/2 hour and did give me a couple of pointers for the next time I decide to replace the toilet. In addition, he was friendly and did remove the old toilet and packaging and left the area clean. I would call them again.

We discussed our problem with an outside French drain , he explained that I could do the job cheaper . Imagine that !!! So I would use him again , because he was so honest .

They were able to come out quickly and they were punctual. The technician did a fine job on the work that he was able to complete. He was courteous. I think that the price was a little high. However, he couldn’t find the clean-out and he wasn’t able to fully unclog the drain. I did have to later hire another plumber to locate and unclog the clean-out drain. I found that the drain is located around the pool instead of closer to the home.

Was scheduled to be here at 9:00. Called and said he was a little behind, would be here in 20 minutes. That is okay with me as long as you give me a call. Was here in 20 minutes. Very polite. Went right to work and had everything done in one day. My plumber's name was Rick, and I would recommend him to anyone. Will be calling him back when I need some more work done. Very thankful that he got my tub & things installed. (I have been waiting for my hubby to do this for 2 years.) He works for Joe The Plumber on Jarvis Rd. The original price of the service was $l000.00 but I had driven by their business and saw a sign out front that showed a l0% discount up to a certain day in July. I got the work done by that date, so therefore paid $900.00. Thanks Rick.

Polite, nice, very responsive and quick. They are the only plumber that I will use from now on.

Matt was my service provider, he was on time, had the right tools, immediaetly identified what what was wrong with the shower faucet showed me what was wrong and why it was not working, he did not have the part with him so he ran to his shop and got the part and was back in no time to complete the repair then he removed my old kitchen faucet and replaced it with a new faucet I had purchased. He left all the areas he worked clean just like he found them and he was professional and polite and even answered some additional questions I had and made some suggestions for items coming up that I will be needing. I will definately use them again.

They came out and quoted me a price and told me what they would do. I am most likely going to use them. Just saving up the money to do this with.

Unfortunately the plumber showed up several hours late and then told us he was going to get a part but never came back. When we called to follow up nobody knew what was going on and the girl on the phone proceeded to argue with us rather than help resolve the situation. We hired Pickett Plumbing who came out same day, on time, called before they came and had all the parts on hand. I have hired Joe the Plumber in the past but will not hire or recommend them again due to the unprofessionalism. We understand that projects will come with some issues but how the company handles them is an important part of who we do business with.

These folks showed up very promptly, quoted a price about half of what another had quoted. Did the work in less than a day, and when there was a tiny issue that needed attention afterwords, showed up again within half an hour and resolved it. I clould not be more pleased and would use them again without hesitation.

The two gentlemen were knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Being out of hot water may not seem like a big deal, but, it is when you don't have it. They were timely and appreciated my sense of urgency. They answered all my questions, showed me and explained what had happened. Did a great job and would highly recommend them.
