DAHN A/C - Heating & Refrigerion

Avoid this company like the plague. I had a clogged drip line on my AC. The owner/repair man (Mr. Dahn?) acted like this was a waste of his time, told me nothing was wrong with the line after about 2 minutes in the attic, vacuumed out the drip pan (useless), told me to contact a plumber and then charged me $125. He never even looked under the sink where the drip line connects to the plumbing. Honestly, the man is either incompetent or dishonest. I called a different company who came out, correctly diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem in short order. Had Mr. Dahn bothered to do his job, he would have quickly discovered sediment buildup in the drip line under the sink, easily cleared by the second company I was forced to call after it became clear the Mr. Dahn did basically nothing.

Avoid Dahn AC at all costs, their contractor refused to fix my equipment unless I agreed to do a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Dahn AC came to fix my AC through a service request with American Home Shield. The technician came out and noticed my freon was low so he just added some freon and did no actual troubleshooting. In just under two weeks the AC unit was non functional again. Contractor comes out a second time and says I need a new evaporator coil. All of the freon that the contractor put into my system had leaked out. On the way out from the second visit he tells me I need a bunch of unnecessary work. I tell him I am only interested in getting the unit back working. He Leaves with my AC unit in a state of disrepair. I call the contractor the next Monday who now refuses to fix my issues since I will not agree to extra work. He will not return phone calls, will not provide prices for extra work he claims is essential.

Emailed a request for repair to American Home Shield?s customer website about 8 p.m. on Friday nite. Received a Service Request Confirmation for DAHN AC & Heating within one hour. Next morning received call from DAHN AC & Heating confirming and indicating a time of arrival of between noon and 2 p.m. Service tech contacted before two that he would be 30 minutes late. He arrived as he stated. Service van was a recent model and very clean. Service tech name was Ardrian. He was professionally dressed and groomed, very respective and polite. Tools were state of the art. He quickly diagnosed the problem and performed the repair in an efficient manner. Very impressed with service. Would like to use this company for any future service.
