+ -1 moreCody came out and gave us an inspection, suggested a few things and then was very honest about the things that we should not do. He did arrive on his scheduled appointment time. He used text message and phone conversations with me in order to get a schedule down that would work best for us both. It took over a week just to get an estimate. I actually texted him about painting and never got a reply. I had to call him to let him know I was still interested in doing the project over a week and a half later with no final estimate. Only then was I emailed an estimate, then the sad story began. Excuses after excuses about why he did not contact me about why he can't come now. It's going to be three weeks with no final estimate including some insulation. I cannot see giving half of my money down to someone who gives excuses each time. And the fact I had to chase him around bothers me terribly. When he did not show, call or text me today I called him. He gave me an excuse. He was supposed to be here this afternoon. He told me he would be here this afternoon. At 7PM with no word I called. He did call right back and gave another excuse to come out later tonight. I said that was fine. Then I changed my mind. I know longer had faith that he would actually come and complete a job. And I texted him that I would not be wasting his or my time anymore but I'm looking for a company that can do the jobs that we need done that works with everyone's schedule. His reply was "sounds good". This tells me he was not interested in doing said job.

+ -1 moreCOJEN Construction is FABULOUS!!! I had made several attempts to patch my roof over 1.5 years with no success, each time I kept my fingers crossed, but each time it rained, another leak. My house had very huge leaks when I say leaks. I had been through 4 different roofers and by the time I found COJEN, I was ready to give up on ever finding someone who was QUALIFIED, HONEST, and PROFESSIONAL. Cody and his team installed a new roof, in two days, explained to me in detail every step of the way. Answered all my questions (which seemed endless) in a professional manner. I would hire COJEN again for my next project, which for me giving high praises is extremely rare!! It has now been a little over 6 months with my new roof and all the rain we've been experiencing, not one leak, not one shingle on the ground. I am so happy I found COJEN Construction.

Description of Work: I received a complete new roof, new vents. All top grade material was used and many upgrades were used. I and my wife were completely satisfied. The crew supplied by COJEN construction were very knowledgeable and courteous. All work was completed and a total clean up was done all in a single day and it all looks great. I would and have recommended them to many neighbors and friends and family.

+ -1 moreAlthough I had recently used another roofer to replace the roof on my rental house, I thought his minimum price of $300 for a repair was too high. I called Cody and he came over the same day, even though it was a Saturday and he was normally closed. He spent a good 45 minutes looking over the roof, looking in the attic and talking with me about possibilities. He pointed out where a previous repair had been done and the flaws (which became apparent). I had bought the home and didn't know about the previous repair. Cody suggested what he thought the mostly likely cause and suggested we start with that before going on to more expensive possibilities (though he did explain it). The inspection and advice was free. I had him come back after the roof dried out to do the repair. He was obviously very knowledgable and certainly didn't try to upsell me. He also gave me a card of someone he would recommend for interior repairs the leak caused. Customer service, trust, price, ability....all selling points in my mind.

He was was able to isolate the leak, and found several areas that were not installed correctly.
